DK48 docking station

Are there rumors when the docking station is available, and what will be the price? As the Z3 does not support wireless support, at least a docking station is required, in my opinion.

Price or release date back its not available at the time, but you should be able to use the Z1, Z2, and Xperia Z2 Dock to recharge your Z3 (whenever its released)

I use application ampere to check amperage when xperia fresh compact z3 with dk48 docking station (I always load up on 15%)

    I see:

    15% to 89% so amperage 800mA-900mA

    from 90 to 100% so amperage 150mA-250mA

and finally the full pin load 100% need 3 hours 10 minutes

    It is slow

and my question is: if I use dk48 dock to recharge, it really makes safe for my z3 compact?

They should be equal, as long as the phone is not used more when in the dock, which would make loading more slowly.

  • MacBook Air for Docking Station connection problem

I am trying to connect a MacBook Air to another monitor via a Kensington docking station, but they do not communicate. The additional monitor is sent immediately to sleep. If I connect Air to the monitor directly everything works fine, but I want to simplify my life with the docking station. Anyone have any ideas?

Well, I understood the question. It seems that the original DisplayLink software I was using was not correct. After connecting with Kensington, they gave me info on a new beta driver and it works fine.

You can stop the process force using the background activity monitor utility. Just find the process Dock (sort the list of processes by name), or use the search box at top right, select, and then click the button exit (the icon is an 'X' in an octagon) in the upper left corner of the window of the activity monitor. It will ask if you want to make a normal Quit or force him to leave.

  • The docking station uses Henge drivers?

Is the Henge dock just a cable Organizer? -Seems all that is material.

Or I need specific SOFTWARE drivers so that my Henge Dock to exploit 100% as expected?

I use the Version B Henge Dock for my MacBook Pro 17-inch - and it all works when it is plugged.

I just want to know if I'm missing out on something?

    THX

Henge Docks are just a docking station, no software required, and any other features. Make sure to work your hard MBP while closed but, I think that life has been shortened on my Macbook, because it has been used mainly in the dock and couldn't cool properly with the lid closed all the time. The logic board failure.

HP Elitebook 8540p, HP Docking Station VB043AA #ABA, Windows 7 64-bit. audio output works very well for a portable loudspeakers and headphones for laptop; When I plug the speaker docking station output cable, the sound continues to come from the internal speakers. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but don't "arrow pointing away from jack" = "line out" = "jack speaker?

  • Satellite click Pro P30W-2B - the docking station battery not charging

    Hello

I have a Satellite click 2 Pro 30WB; at first, I didn't have any problem with this product, but a few months does not charge the battery of the docking station. I am able to load only the Tablet battery.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

Hmm... If this problem has appeared since the first day of the purchase, the home question battery might be related to battery failure.
In this case, you will need to contact the service to fix.

But just one question: it's your BIOS up-to-date?
Check the update in the station of service and if available new version of BIOS; try to update the BIOS to the latest status.

  • HP ZBook 15 G3: BSOD when connecting to the HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 docking station

I recently (yesterday, 16/08/16) began to experience the dreaded Blue Screen of Death, whenever my laptop is connected to my HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 Dock.

The machine is a HP ZBook 15 G3. It was connected to the docking station for more than a month without this problem. I don't know why at the time because I don't remember any updates or new software before that happens.

The dock is connected to 2 x monitors via HDMI cables and an ethernet cable. I connect a mouse and wireless keyboard to a USB3 port on the laptop.

If the dock is connected to the laptop at the start, he reached the login screen front of BSOD. If I start without it connected, it will be BSOD a few seconds after connecting the dock. He never to the point where the monitors display anything. It can be started with the dock connected in Safe Mode, as it seems to disable job.

I've updated all the drivers and BIOS (including download the Softpaq Download Manager), but there has been no change. I have also updated the NVIDIA drivers to the latest version without change.

What should I do next to solve the problem?

Did you analyze the dump files, they said?

I would also like to update these:

Intel's Thunderbolt sure Connect utility (15.3.40.275)
Thunderbolt from Intel for the Dock Thunderbolt from HP (16.1.7.0.8) Firmware update
ASMedia eXtensible Host Controller Driver (1.16.35.1)
ASMedia ASM1042A Firmware Update for HP Thunderbolt 3 Dock (131025.10.11.23)

More BIOS if you're not on 1.09 or 1.10, some people say that they have problems with 1.10, so maybe try downgrade to 1.09.

You can also try experimenting with the 'Thunderbolt security level' setting in the bios security switching No. If it is authorized by the user, or vice versa.

  • Compatibility issue with the Portege 7020 / display CT 7200 & docking station

    Hi guys,.

I have some problems with 2 cell phones.

    1 is:
I bought a 7020 used to replace the broken of 7200 screen. After having disassembled the screen, I noticed that the connectors have the same number of threads, but one of the terminal of the 7200's screen has more. 'no problem' I thought, and with patience I picked up the cable of the adapter of 7020 one put in the 7200.
But when I turned it on I saw only the colored lines and squares: S: S
If you want I can provide with the NP, if it would help... Even if I check the compatibility before ordering.

    2nd problem:
Portege 7200 correctly recognize the docking station, while a few beeps before starting the 7020, and obviously it does not work with him. I checked on the toshiba site and the dock would be totally compatible!

And for the end... Where can I find the bios updates?

Sorry for my bad English, I hope someone could help me!

    Kind regards
    Francesco

    Hello Francesco

You'll be really lucky if someone here can help you with these old models of laptops. I'm sure they have about 10 years.
No manual maintenance and sufficient knowledge is not easy to help you with this replacement of the screen.

This problem with docking station may be related to defective hardware. The two laptops are so similar, and two of them can be used with this docking station. How you can be sure that equipment is high on 7020?

The BIOS updates are available on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_bios.jsp, but as I can see for Portege 7000 there is no updated BIOS, just to 7020.

If you wish, you can contact the nearest Toshiba service provider. they have manuals for maintenance for this old notebooks and allow you to provide accurate information on the parts you need.

  • Tecra M11 - 17V - identify the serial port on the docking station

I have a laptop Toshiba Tecra M11 - 17V, which I often use with the docking station that accompanies it.
There is a DB9 serial port at the back of the docking station, but I don't know what COM Port.

    I use Windows 7.

In the device, COM9 Manager - COM22 are identified as Port BT (bluetooth). Com7 - COM8 are RIM Virtual Serial Port v2, COM17 is Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port and COM18 is USB-Serial CH340.

I thought that COM17 or COM18 were the most likely candidates, but have not been able to get to answer using one of them.

I connect a Psion 5 (Comms app) to him and have developed ports and the Psion 8bits, 19200 baud, no parity, 1 stop bit.

    Hello

    > There is a serial port DB9 on the back of the docking station, but I don't know what COM Port, it is

I think you have misunderstood something wrong
COM ports in Device Manager are virtual com ports
There is no link between a serial port and a virtual com port.

I have a question: what docking station you have exactly?

I had an express port replicator and this device required an additional serial port driver installation.

  • HP 2008 120W Docking Station (KP080UT) Support screen double

The Station of host HP 2008 120 w (KP080UT) supports two screens?  If this is not the case, what docking station will be?

I tried to run two monitors connected to the docking station with a portable computer stock HP Compaq 6715 b.  A monitor is on DVI, the other is on VGA.  Single screen works individually on both DVI and VGA, but together, it won't.  The laptop sees there is a second monitor, but when I said "Extend my Windows desktop on this monitor." the first monitor flickers as its going to change everything, but goes back to the single screen.  I updated the graphics drivers and tried with both open and closed laptop.

Support Online Chat told me that it depends on the graphics card.  6715 b is not compatible double screen.

  • 3 displays with my HP ProBook 6470b 230W Advanced Docking Station

    Hi all

I recently got a new HP ZR2440w monitor that I would like to joing my whole upward.

Here is my current set up:

HP ProBook 6470b 230W Advanced Docking Station + an HP L1950 monitor.

My office is extended from the laptop to the Monitor HP L1950, giving double me poster.

I would like to extend my desktop to the new monitor HP ZR2440w giving me 3 displays (laptop display + HP L1950 monitor HP ZR2440w monitor)

For example, my question is: when I extend laptop to ZR2440w so that already granted to L1950 the ZR2440w does not connect.

Note: I the ZR2440w connected to the docking via Display Port and speak it L1950 via DVI.

I also tried both monitors on DVI.

I tried the software graphics intel installed on my laptop but when the laptop lid is opened it will only connect to one of the external monitors.

What I read I can only support 2 screens at the same time, but I feel like it rather kill to have so many display on the docking station ports and cannot use a while the laptop lid is open.

    Any help is greatly appericated.

    Thank you

    Steve.

Yes, this was a limitation for awhile. The video controller in the laptop is the pull-out to the dock and it is capable of only configuration "dual head" If you get the screen of the laptop and the screen more.
