DMP Sony iP-10 compatibility

I was given a Sony Mini System stereo with a Sony data media port to connect a MP3 player. I have a Sandisk E270, but can't seem to get the systΦme can recognize the player. I updated the firmware and tried different settings, no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know about you, but I doubt that the e200 is compatible with the dock the device connector. It is probably only intended to anchor the Sony players.

  • How can I download for my sony dcr-dvd403 pmb to windows vista 36 bit

looking for software for downaloda pmb for windows vista for sony dcr dvd403 handycam

looking for software for downaloda pmb for windows vista for sony dcr dvd403 handycam

You have Windows Vista 32-bit and a Sony DCR-DVD403 with LCD 2.7 "...

According to the Windows Vista for Sony DCR-DVD403 Compatibility Center the device itself is compatible without any intervention on your part.  Support for any third party hardware or software is always from the hardware manufacturer or software.  It is their place to ensure that their hardware and software are compatible with the operating systems their customers use (or not to do - put an end to their support for said product and basically stating that produced a legacy package/device).

Visit Sony support web page and put in your camera model after you have selected the option for downloads, it takes a place where you can select various downloads.  Simply choose 'Windows Vista' in the menu drop-down "Select an Operating System.  Then it expans show several possible downloads to support this device in Windows Vista, including updates of Picture Motion Browser and Picture Package Sony feeding with their products.  Here are a few updates - so you will need to have a version already installed.

Notes for the Motion Picture Browser declares, "this utility updates PMB versions 1.1 to 5.8.01 and Cyber-shot Viewer version 1.0, PMB version 5.8.02..."- so I think it is reasonable to assume that, as long as you have an installed version (from the CD that came with your camera), you can use this update to bring it up to State fully patched.  Sony offers a link if you need to buy replacement CD for those that you should have received with your product.  Wow - 30 USD - they are proud of their software.  You may have more luck that many others in the research that a download legitimate to PMB is that you do not have your original CD...

  • Windows 7 cannot install the video driver for vaio

I installed windows 7 RC on my computer laptop vaio VGN-TX770P. The standard VGA controller seems to work the laptop screen using the chip intel, but claims he can not find a driver for the connector external vga for monitor. I tried to install the vista drivers from the website of sony in vista compatibility mode, but it seems to ignore it. Any suggestions?

OK - solved. Machines built around chipset 915GSM need to install the XP driver downloaded from intel in XP compatibility mode. That at least gets video acceleration and double screen works as well as XP.

  • Controls RS-232 for a Sony TV connected to a DMP

    Hello

Has anyone successfully sent an order RS-232 to a DMP to turn to a SONY LCD TV (32 "or 40") or not?

I created the following commands in the system of tasks:

    Sony TV on:

    Name: Screen Sony

    Description: Turn on display Sony

    Query type: set

    Request: rs232.tx_hex = 8 c 00 00 02 01 8F (tried with spaces and no spaces between the values)

    I've also tried application: 8F rs232.tx_hex = 8 c 00 00 02 01 0d (0d Hex for return transport) without success.

    Sony TV:

    Name: Sony wide screen

    Description: Disable screen Sony

    Query type: set

    Request: rs232.tx_hex = 00 00 02 00 8 c 8

I can confirm that the same command "rs232.tx_hex =" is defined for the Panasonic screens (hexadecimal value is different as below) and the screens turn on and off properly.

    Panasonic TV on:

    Name: Panasonic screen on

    Description: Turn on screen Panasonic

    Query type: set

    RS232.tx_hex = 02504f4e03

    Panasonic TV:

    Name: Panasonic wide screen

    Description: Disable screen Panasonic

    Query type: set

    RS232.tx_hex = 02504f4603

When I connect the same RS-232 cable used between DMP and Sony TV to my laptop and LCD Sony TV and run a 8th order 8 00 00 02 01 8F, 8 00 00 02 00 sendhex.exe TV will turn off the TV lights.

The sendhex.exe has been provided by Sony and I do not see the underlying code, but apparently it only send the hexadecimal value is entered down the RS-232 cable.

    Thank you

    Linda,

I am pleased that you have had some success with this issue. Point a browser at the DMP IP address to display the parameters is the only method I know to check the configuration.

  • How to fix the fingerprint reader of the problems of compatibility with WIN 7 Sony Vaio VGN-SZ260P

The fingerprint reader does not work on my laptop Sony Vaio VGN SZ240P since I've updated from Windows XP.  There must be a problem somewhere online.  Everyone fell on this problem yet? And if so how do solve you this problem?

    Hello Jason,

This will be a little problem. The only available fingerprint driver is for XP, the operating system on this computer comes with. There is a driver at this location: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=VGNSZ240P&upd_id=2134&os_group_id=13 which works on Vista with "loss of functionality.

So, if you have a 32-bit Windows 7 system (it will not work in a 64-Bit environment) do the following: download the XP / Vista driver and install it. Once its installed go to the program icon or the file itself and right click on it, selecting Properties in the window that opens. When the new window opens, go to the top row of tabs and select the Compatibility tab. When that shows check the box run in compatibility and mode in the drop-down list that appears, select Windows 7. Then select Apply and after that finishes select apply to all users. That brings up the same menu for all users - check the compatibility in the Windows 7 box, click on apply, then click OK and click OK.

If something does not work as I've described, post here with details and I'll try to work through it, with you. Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards

  • SONY AX33 COMPATIBILITY ISSUE WITH FCP 10.2.3?

    Hello

We had read that Sony's XAVCs codec is compatible with FCP X since version 10.2. So we bought a couple of cameras Sony-FDR-AX33 for our company (short films shot in 1080 p). So this morning I tested one of them, fill a 64 GB card with continuous footage from my office window. He gave me 2.5 hours of 1080 p video.

Now, if I navigate on the map from a recent MacPro desktop, I can open the file with QuickTime and read it. But if I try to import into FCP X, it fails. Nothing happens. It's like talking to my cat. I went on the Web and read a few comments. As it seems, anyone recommend commercial software of Brorsoft so that the file converted to Apple ProRes 422. UM! In the case of my file, it takes well over 2 hours to do the work with the application of fast converter we use here, Miro.

    I have three simple questions:

    1 can FCP X 10.2.3 import DIRECTLY a long hrs 2.5 blessed with XAVCs codec 1080 p?

2-if it can, what I am doing wrong?

3 and if she can't, why Apple says it can?

    Thank you.

I have the Sony FDR-AX100 that pulls in the same codecs as your Sony FDR-AX33 XAVCS.  I imported many clips of my RAD-AX100 in FCP X, but I do not try and import them directly from the card of the camera.  I use the software to play the memories of (free) Sony to transfer clips from my AX100 on my hard drive.  I then use the FCP to import the. MP4 files on the hard disk in FCP X.  There is no conversion of files involved in this workflow, and I have never had no problems using this workflow with FCP X and my Sony FDR-AX100. Here is a link to the software PlayMemories: http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/download/playmemories-home/ma c/en/index.html.

  • Will there be a CS6 PP was updated for compatibility with the Sony XAVC-S codec

Hi, well it's all in the title,

Should I wait for this update? I just noticed there is not since August 2013 and some new HD cam, hybrid DSLR use this new codec.

so it would be great not to forget the CS6 users, upgrade to CC is not a solution for me, I would prefer to swith to FCP X cc.

I have Sony FDR-AX100 where pulling 4K video in Sony XVAC S codec, and I have two Adobe Premiere Pro CC and CS6.  Don't have import problems, reading or editing images in this format.  XVAC S is really simply a high-level h.264 format. I use these two programs on one end of 2013 Mac Pro with 64 GB RAM and 12 hearts 10.9.3 OS.

  • Adobe Media Downloader failed - systemic Sony HD compatibility?

I tried to avoid Sony PMB to download my AVCHD from my HDR-XR500 vido and use PE8 as I have with all my previous video cameras - so I can handle images with my photos.

I have downlaoded the latest patch from Adobe, 8.01. I opened the first elements, click on get media, AVCHD video, it scans the camera for a second and then sends the error message 'Adobe Media Downloader has encountered a problem and needs to close. "

In reading through links to older posts, those who have Sony HD cameras faced the same thing. By communicating with a person who has experienced the issue in November, he gave up and only stores his video on PE8 - it uses the sony PMB - totally defeat the purpose of a single managed catalog.

If someone has a camera Sony out there who got to work, I would be happy to hear from you.

I have Windows 7, 64 bit, 9 GB of ram, a crowd of HDspace, ATI graphics card and everything you need to know will provide.

If employees of Adobe are listening, I'd greatly appreciate help or by logging the issue as a need to fix for the next version. in the meantime, I'm piling up videos with no where to go but DVD.

    '

    Thank you-

    Chuck

Chuck, there should be no need to convert the video to what either, if your Premiere Elements project is implemented for AVCHD and your computer is powerful enough to work with this format.

Just use Windows Explorer to move the video via a USB from the camcorder to your drive hard, then get the media to do this at the video in your project AVCHD Premiere Elements.
