DMVPN, deny traffic to the satellite mission
Hello
Maybe it's a weird qeustion but im DMVPN test with several scenarios.
At the moment I have 1 Hub with 4 spoke, they all work properly. We test it because we have a lot of customers who do not have a fixed IP address to the outside, then an IP address changes each time, you have to configure VPN to our headquarters all over again. DMVPN appears as a perfect solution...
Now my goal is to configure the DMVPN of all customers (speaks) at our headquarters. But I don't want guests to have access to our local network and nor, I want to have access to the other satellite mission. The only one who has full access allowed to all LAN's headquarters (Hub).
What is the best way to achieve this? I started working with access lists or can I do it with EIGRP somehow? And make the ACL on the tunnels or the ethernet interfaces?
Or maybe DMVPN is not the best solution? All comments and advice ar worm appreciated!
Thanks already,
Bart
In this scenario, you use the better the VTI/DVTI tunnels. On the Hub, you can accept any peers with the DVTI-config VPN. The rays use traditional VTI-tunnels. The virtual model on the hub (which is used to build the-access-virtual interfaces by talk can be configured with a value by default-ACL (deny an ip) and CBAC firewall rule that inspects your outgoing traffic to allow packets back.) You can even use the zone based firewall, but this seems an exaggeration in this configuration.

Split of static traffic between the VPN and NAT
Hi all
We have a VPN from Site to Site that secures all traffic to and from 10.160.8.0/24 to/from 10.0.0.0/8. It's for everything - including Internet traffic. However, there is one exception (of course)...
The part that I can't make it work is if traffic comes from the VPN (10.0.0.0/8) of 10.160.8.5 (on 80 or 443), then the return traffic must go back through the VPN. BUT, if traffic 80 or 443 comes from anywhere else (Internet via X.X.X.X which translates to 10.160.8.5), so there need to be translated réécrirait Internet via Gig2.
I have the following Setup (tried to have just the neccessarry lines)...
interface GigabitEthernet2
address IP Y.Y.Y.Y 255.255.255.0! the X.X.X.X and Y.Y.Y.Y are in the same subnet
address IP X.X.X.X 255.255.255.0 secondary
NAT outside IP
card crypto ipsec-map-S2S
interface GigabitEthernet4.2020

allow an ip
route No. - NAT allowed 10 map
corresponds to the IP no. - NAT
With the above configuration, we can get to the Internet 10.160.8.5, but cannot cross it over the VPN tunnel (from 10.200.0.0/16). If I remove the two commands «ip nat inside source static...» ', then the opposite that happens - I can get then to 10.160.8.5 it VPN tunnel but I now can't get to it from the Internet.
How can I get both? It seems that when I hit the first NAT instruction (overload Gig2) that 'decline' in the list of ACL-NAT-outgoing punts me out of this statement of NAT. It can process the following statement of NAT (one of the 'ip nat inside source static... ") but does not seem to"deny"it in the NON - NAT ACL me punt out of this statement of NAT. That's my theory anyway (maybe something is happening?)
If this work like that or I understand something correctly? It's on a router Cisco's Cloud Services (CSR 1000v).
Thank you!
Your netmask is bad for your 10.0.0.0/8. I worry not about the port/protocol or since that can screw you up. A better way to do it would be to deny all IP vpn traffic.

Send all VPN traffic and the other end it blocks Internet
Hello
I wonder if I can get a RV042 VPN Tunnel to a RV082 and in the RV082 block all traffic on the internet that comes form the computers that are behind the RV042.
Something like this:
Remote PC-> RV042-> VPN-> RV082-> firewall RV082 (block internet traffic, allow intranet traffic)
Thank you very much
Oliver
The scenario you describe should be doable with a pair of RV042 and RV082, where all traffic is transmitted by RV042 to RV082. What you need is to configure an access on RV082 rule to deny the RV042 subnet HTTP traffic to ALL (internet).

How to send traffic in the clear?
Hi all
am I right to say that to send traffic in the clear through the VPN, I add a deny statement in the access list that corresponds to the card encryption?
Depends on the ACL.
Usually allow you all VPN traffic and explicit refuse at the end of the ACL takes care of him.
If you want to exclude some of the traffic which is "part" of the statement of the permit, you can use a statement "ban" UNTIL instructed to permit to exclude that traffic.

Turning on links sends the traffic to the address
OS Mavericks, 38.0.1 Firefox.
When I roll over any link on a page Web Little Snitch throws an alert that Firefox attempts to send traffic to the address associated with the link. This is the new behavior in the last month.
I don't have this problem with the Safari browser.
Hello, please see the section "read-ahead" How to stop Firefox to make automatic connections

Update disk on the Satellite M70-131
You want to upgrade my M70-131 original 60 Gb HDD.
Is this a good choice?
* HARD DRIVE IDE2.5 160 GB AT 5400 TR/MIN/8 MB CACHE SAMSUNG HM160HC. *Hello
I searched the forum and found many threads on Sat M70 and HDD upgrade.
Check this thread:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=41092The Satellite M70 (any sub-model is) seems supports the SATA HDD controller and, therefore, you need a HARD drive 2.5 SATA.
But as mentioned in the other thread, you could install a hardware diagnostic tool to ensure what controller it s is exactly.
But I think it's a s SATA -
Cannot start OSs of HDD external USB on the Satellite NB10t-A-101
I'm unable to install Linux on the Satellite NB10t-A-101, because it does not allow to boot from USB or install other OSs.I tried to circumvent this way: (it came with pre-installed Windows 8).
(1) turning off SecureBoot (which I did)
(2) putting USB at the top of the list of starting the computer. But it does not work.
I have two HDD USB (a TPG, the other normal) partitioned and it s impossible for them starting with this model of Satellite. I m thinking to return it back to the store that I need to install/start several OSs.
Hello
Great that you are using Linux on your PC!
You mention that you have disabled the secure boot.
It is very good. But you don't say anything about the startup mode and nothing about what Linux you try to start. Most of the distros must support UEFI but that can't be true for each of them.
If you want Win8 dualboot with a Linux distro, so you need to active UEFI and able to start in this mode distribution.
If you use a late clone-Ubuntu, Fedora or OpenSuse, you should be fine!Another clue could be to take the USB key and try to start another PC from him.
Which will give a clearer picture of where the problem lies: on your key or the compatibility of firmware NB10 & distro Linux of your choice. If you try to boot from a USB - HDD, I'm afraid I'm a bit at a loss as I've never tested.
I hope this helps!

Update graphics card on the Satellite X 200
Hello members,
I m a proud owner of the Satellite X 200 with a map single chart (NV8700GT-256). But like most of these screen-no video... Black NV cards. I know, this card can be changed-it s not soldered, but it seems to be a specialized map only made by Toshiba.
Many sellers (most of them in CN) have these cards and I have googled a lot: NV8700GT with 256 MB or 512 MB. This should be fine without any problem LS - 3443P. But there are other cards sill: LS - 3442P with a chip ATI and 256 or 512 MB of ram. They are used in a note of P200. Some dealers say they are useabe in a 200 X too. The connector seems to be the same as the dimensions of the Board of directors a the place chips. Some say that ATI would be better, cooler and there is no "burn-out". I have no answer until what chip is used-i think it's a series of radeo 2600. Assessment tests provide the same speed as the NV8700GT. But none of them give a real answer - so my question is: has anyone of you experience with this card? Can I choose ATI or upgrade to an NV with 512 MB of ram. Will be my laptop boot up or should I change the bios first? These graphics problems are boring!
Thank you, TomI have senn there are many questions about the maximum amount of ram... I have a DV9000 HP with the same chipset intel PM965M for office. HP says the maximum is 4G (2x2G) as toshi too. (For HP), but this true isn´t! My HP has two modules of 4G with the 2Rx8 specification; 8 tokens, 6400S / 800M, order 8 x 512. With windows vista64 oder w7-64 with no problems. I m going to test it with my toshi after solving the video problem...

Question about the Satellite X 205 - SLI3
Hello
Anyone know when this phone will be available in Europe?
Thank youThis laptop is designed only for the American market.
I don t think that this laptop will be available in Europe. You can search the Satellite X 200.
This should be very similar to the X 205

Toshiba intend the Satellite X 205-59359 available to the United Kingdom?
Toshiba intends to make this model USA, Satellite X 205-59359 or the X 205 series, available in the United Kingdom?
How will I know? Or I'll just go to the Asus G2Sc?Hi Graham
The Satellite X 205 is great! I've read some reports on another computer magazine websites. According to these articles the 205 X / 200 X supports 2 graphics cards! It was specially designed for gamer!
Return to question you. The satellite X 205 seems to be designed only for the American market, and I think that you can only buy it in the United States or of any online merchant to the United Kingdom.
But not don t worry as far as I know the Satellite X 200 should be published and sent to European countries! It seems that Sam block supports the specifications of identical or very similar material as the X 205!
But I didn t find any info on the first version
It seems that we have to wait...

Question about the graphics card of the Satellite P50t-B-108
Hello
I think to buy the Toshiba Satellite P50t-B-108 model.
Can you tell me if this phone has some kind of graphic hibrid (he uses both the graphic processor Embedded Intel and AMD one?) or simply the radeon graphics processor?I need to install a linux distribution (I might go with ubuntu, but it's not important) and what I need to know is if the HDMI works...
Thank you.
Hello
As far as I know the Satellite P50t-B-108 was equipped with the graphics card AMD Radeon R9 M265X.
In addition the Intel® Core i7-4700HQ processor supports the Intel HD Graphics 4600
This Intel HD 4600 graphics unit is part of the Intel CPU. -

The Satellite Pro A100 has a modem 'voice '?
If so, can I make phone calls using the Dialer in MS Outlook with a microphone plugged into my laptop.
How can I do this? Please, don't make it so complicated. As a first step, it would be interesting to know what operating system you are using. On the Toshiba support page you can find sound driver and modem for operating system supported.

Re: A few questions with the Satellite A350-12J
My father-in-law's cell phone is the Satellite 350 and I think there 12j after his name.
We re-installed Vista 32 bit the other day and he said that some things do not work as they should.
First of all, if he presses the FN key, and say the s, the brightness, it works but he used to have a small dock type thing will appear at the top of the screen with icons of FN button. The other don t FN keys work well as the permutation of switch monitor.
Second keys soft touch media don t work as turning off the lights behind them or bring up media player.
We have evidence and tried to install the value pack but he said during the installation that he was withdrawing the package so it must have already been installed. After having re-installed, there is no difference. I can't find any program or whatever it is in the Panel for her.
Also, I tried the same thing to the hardware configuration. Once again, it seems telling herself it was there and uninstall. Yet once I re-installed but t still can't find anything for him anywhere for me to change any settings or anything like that.I don't have the laptop with me good that now it is at home, but I think I got it.
All ideas welcome.
Each Toshiba laptop comes with the pre-installed operating system and the old A350 will be delivered with Vista, so I would like to know if it is possible for you to use this original picture of the recovery.
Have your father in law created recovery DVD such as recommended by Toshiba?I guess you are trying to install the version of Vista clean, right?
