  Regarding your problem: many people have the same problem with the YouTube Player, please be patient and wait while YouTube or RIM solves the problem, in the meantime, you can use YouTube players or use the Opera browser to watch videos from YouTube (the quality is quite poor) or you can search on Google which is currently the best way to watch YouTube videos.

  OK, I had similar problem and it was actually a lot easier to solve, then I thought. Maybe it will work for you.

  Right click on the speaker icon in the lower right

  Click playback devices

  Click the speakers

  Click on properties

  Click on advanced

  Then click on default settings

  Are you sure protected mode is disabled? Firefox has a setting hidden for this moment, where you manually edit a file mms.cfg:
