"Do not disturb" turn off alarms?

I checked the page dedicated to this feature in the FAQ of Apple and they said it turned off alarms, but I think they mean the notifications, I need to know if they silence the alarm you set to wake you up for example. Thanks for responding.

Your alarm should function normally, even in "do not disturb" mode

You have the apparent corruption of dbx files, but an easy solution.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  • Do not disturb turn them off by itself?

Lately, do not disturb automatically returns online whenever I get a message, defeat the purpose of DND. Why does this happen? Is there a solution to stay on DND?

    Version of Skype: 7.2.0.103

    Windows 8.1

I had the same problem. Not disturb got disabled whenever I open the app on my iPhone. My computer state changes are not sync to the iPhone, but the anti-change status is synchronized to the back of the iPhone. Once I put a do not disturb from the iPhone itself, things started working normally. Synchronization state is again two-way.

Some say has been broken and required a patch "replace the market".

  • ENVY 15-k008ne Notebook PC: my laptop does not completely turn off

    Hello

When I have shutdown/Hibernate / standby my laptop, it will turn off completely.

All programs will be closed (when stop or restart) and I think that OS will also close. But the laptop will not turn off. Power LIGHT and fan will stay on.

And when I try to Hibernate, everything is ok, but I have the same problem.

Whenever I have to turn it off by holding the power button, otherwise the battery will be discharged.

After manual turn off, when I turn it on again, everything works correctly:

-If hibernation: OS will continue to last situation.

-If stop: OS works normally without error or warning.

After sleep, OS works from the beginning. Because the data stored in RAM and will be deleted after power off.

Perhaps a portable automatic perevent equipment turned off. All the drivers are up to date.

Is there a parameter/software to check and fix my problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Try the following.

Open settings and select System.  Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close the open windows and restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download the driver directly from Intel IMEI on the following link, unzip the and run the installer.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/26127/Intel-management-engine-consumer-driver-for-Intel-nu...

Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

When the machine rebooted, re - activate the quick start and restart the computer once more - let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

  • Satellite A100-812: screen brightness does not not & screen turns off after a while

Some power management features do not work after a bios update (5.90).
The display brightness can be changed in the power manager, or the top menu system. In the power manager, the cursor can be moved, but the brightness is not set. Toshiba menu system appears to hang on trying to change the brightness with F6 - F7 and won't move the cursor.

In addition, the screen does not turn off after the set amount of minutes in the power manager.

What is going on? How can this be repaired?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Some questions; Why you have updated the BIOS?
Are you sure you used the right BIOS?

In my opinion you shouldn't t to update anything if the laptop works properly!

However, try to access the BIOS, set the default settings and save the settings before exiting the BIOS.
If this does not help, I would pick up the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD.

    Good bye

As the title says, when I select 'Shut Down' in the start menu under Vista, the system says it stops, but w/lan stays on and if you press the eject button, the dvd opens.
Also the battery will drain overnight, so it's obviously not turn off completely.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Hello

Chose the option of closure or sleep?
Please note that the default option is set in the standby mode. This might be the reason why the laptop didn't t stop correctly.

    Hello

Try disabling the startup of Windows 10 hybrid - you can do the following.

Click on the button Save the settings, and then close windows open and stop the laptop by right clicking on the icon in Start Menu, select (Admin) command prompt and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Type (or copy and paste) the following command (including spaces) and click Enter.

    Shutdown /s /t 0

Start the laptop and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking if it is now shut down properly in the Start Menu.

If this has fixed the problem, it may be useful by turning the quick start back on - sometimes simply remove and re-create the file will solve the problem.

The problem might actually be an add-on or another program to the origin of the problem and you should check that
    1st.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - reset all Zones by default level - apply / OK

    not better?

Close IE and try again IE or IE with no Addons

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question. (Toolbars are BHO)

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and that would be unusual with

    I would add prevx so.

These days it would be closed to chance especially when watching Youtube videos. I've recently updated my driver video so cancelled yesterday. This morning when I woke up, it was off, I let it run all the time so I knew that he was stopped again. I hit the power button, the power came a few seconds then turns off back. I tried several times with the same result. No beeps and I couldn't tell what were the diagnostic lights that you see in the video. I hit the power supply test button on the back and the LED is green indicating no power problem. I removed the RAM and just put 2 DIMM back in, tried a different video card. Removed the Firewire card. Removed the second CPU, swapped the second processor in place of the first. Reset the CMOS. I tried to unplug the hard drives, diskettes and optical. I monitor the temperatures of the last two days, inactive to 39 processors, but never greater than about 52C, the video card is idling to 36 c and will enter in the 1960s during the comparative analysis, but remains in the 1940s with regular use. I don't know what else to do. Here is a video of what he does.

  • How to turn off alarm full screen completely, not only the timeout?

I changed 'full-screen - api .warning p:System.NET.HttpWebRequest.Timeout' '0' in ' subject: config. He disabled the message but I have another monitor above my main monitor and when I move my mouse to the video to full screen to the other monitor alarm full screen appears again. It's really disruptive because it stays there forever unless I put my mouse over the video. Could you add a setting to completely disable this alert?

@Happy112 so the Addon does not work. It does exactly what I've done for Firefox settings.

@jscher2000 I tried to do everthing you did, but rather than see this short blip that you were talking about, the full alert screen comes up. In addition, I tried to use the code you gave me with the Stylish extension (I had already installed) but it didn't work either (I probably made mistakes even though, as I don't really know how to use it: D)

BUT I found a solution to my problem:

I just had to define "full-screen - api .warning .delay" to any integer negative as - 1 instead of 0. That did the trick.

in any case, thanks to all who tried to help me!

So, I'm in the car, my child is screaming his eyes, I'm putting on music to soothe, but all his favorite album songs are coming as explicit?  This never happened before, the album still played without problems. The only change I see is that I have updated to 9.3 on my iPhone 6.
