• Firefox does not password reset to my email address

  I can connect and disconnect with my user name and password. However, when I went to get Firefox Addons it wouldn't let me connect with my address, email and password.   We recently replaced a hard drive.  After you restore things, I tried to play a song on iTunes and received the message "this computer is not authorized...". "and it gave me a chance to enter the password with the Apple ID already filled.  No password worked, so I just clicked on 'Forgotten?' and was taken to the Apple page to reset the password.  The Apple ID was already entered, so I clicked on "continue".  At this point, however, the page pops up a message saying "< myemail@address > is not an Apple ID".

  I don't understand because this is the e-mail address with which the song was purchased.  What should I do now?

  Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! I'm sorry to hear you are having these problems with iTunes and your Apple ID. I'm a bit difficult to know if ID Apple which had already inquired on the authorization page when you tried to play the song corresponds to your current Apple ID or possibly a precedent or even an unknown ID.   If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.

  In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.

  If you reset the password of the account administrator integrated into house or have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the password of the built-in to a white administrator account. Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Start with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run.   I have a deskjet 6988 I want to set up for wireless printing.  I am able to connect to the printer via ethernet and wireless Ad - Hoc and can open the EWS browser.  When I select the network tab, a dialog box opens and asks you a username and password.  I know from the manual of the user name is "Admin", however, I never set up a password and the password is not empty.  (I think I bought a returned unit and another user defined a password)

  The problem is that the routine use of the manual password reset - "hold the key to report and press the Cancel button 3 times"-does not reset the password.

  Does anyone know another method to clear the password or a backdoor password?

  If you follow that and find the rom dump 0408 on printer deskjet 6988 address, you can see the password and username is just above or nearby.  I don't know if this address would be exactly the same for each dump of rom, but the username and password should be listed in this rom dump.

  It is very strange indeed... with only 2 causes possible I think.

  (1) your e-mail (on your PC) application blocking the link provided in the email... a lot of apps email will do that and sometimes you have to replace them. If you have another interface to use (for example, webmail interface, GMail and Outlook), then try the other and see if that helps. According to the messaging environment (for example, private corporate e-mail system), it is also possible that some bridge along the trail is stripping on the necessary link for safety.

  (2) the installation of e-mail to reset is actually broken, and enamel does not contain what it is supposed to. If this is the case, then it requires a formal attention to the RIM. The only way to achieve this is for you to contact the Association and to degenerate the RIM of your case.

  If you set password history on don't allow orevious you can reference the table pwh.

  You can also create a UDF who inquire about the handler reset passwoed and check against it. IOM has many points of validation of your code to.
