What follows has a number of measures that can help: get help using iCloud Contacts, calendars, or reminders - Apple Support

Note the following this link in particular - while the rest of the article may have also something.

If your contacts, calendars and reminders are in iCloud, then iCloud will automatically update your information. See if your information is in iCloud or third parties, such as Google or Yahoo account. Then change your default account to iCloud.

See which represent your contacts are:

  1. Open the app and click groups in the upper left corner.
  2. Deselect the [account] option for any account of third parties, such as Gmail or Yahoo.
  3. Make sure all the iCloud is selected.
  4. Tap done to see your list of contacts. If you do not see the contact you are looking for, it is stored in another account.
  5. You can import the contacts from a third party service in iCloud.

  • Bishop Office of blackBerry Smartphones will not synchronize contacts

I just got a Verizon BB Bold 9650.  I have an iMac running the latest version of Snow Leopard.  I downloaded the Desktop Manager and it sync was my calendars and notes but not my contacts.  Contacts is gray and it has this message:

Contacts are currently configured for a wireless sync.

To synchronize the Contacts with the BB Desktop Manager, disable the wireless sync by opening address book on your device and in the Options menu, by selecting your AddressBook and changing the field of no. wireless sync reconnect your device and try to synchronize again.

The only options I get are to sort and separate or allow duplicate names or views confirm the deletions.

I clicked on each tab and I can find the button and there is no option anywhere wireless sync.  Manual provided with the phone and the manual in PDF format are both pretty useless.  It's as if they were designed for another phone running a different os because I can't find half of what I'm looking for by following their instructions.

It's very frustrating because the main reason I went with the BB because they announced that their phone to synchronize with the mac address book and calendars.

YEA - my contacts are now on my BB bold.  With the assistance of Verizon.  On my phone, to go down as a result of get to the wireless sync option.

    Open contacts

    Press the menu button

    Click on options

    Choose the e-mail address

Then, you have the option of wireless sync.

Apparently the gmail accounts auto together towards the top for wireless synchronization but the OS X address book do not like that.  You must disable the gmail wireless synchronization (this includes all .edu also addresses) and then can be synced to the BB.

  • iCloud will not synchronize contacts to new iPhone

    Hey,.

So I recently bought a brand new 6 iPhone and I put in place today, but I ran into a problem: my contacts and messaging (which are on my iPad) will not be displayed. I lit all the iCloud settings in the phone settings and I don't really know what to do more. I thought it might be a matter of time and waited for a day but I do not have them. I tried to set up a different e-mail account (Gmail) and it works if it is not a network problem, just iCloud.

    Do you have any advice?

    Thank you very much

Try to go to iCloud.com to see if the elements are there and they are on the phone or iPad. Which should show what device is not synchronizing. Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize... You can also try connecting to iCloud and then reconnect.

  • BlackBerry 10 Z10 does not synchronize contacts and calendar - Google Apps and Gmail

    Dear Sirs,

I am train back to use blackberry as my mobile platform by default and so I chose Z10.

The point is that I am facing problems to sync my contacts and calendar with my Gmail and Google Apps accounts. I already tried to add accounts in several ways (by default, Gmail, Microsoft Exchange Active Sync), but without success. Just email is syncing with the failure of Gmail.

    System was updated to 10.2.1

I am a blackberry lover and was trying to leave the Android platform. Please could someone help me?

    Thank you and best regards!

Your result from step 1 is exactly as planned... the built-in Wizard GMail via IMAP, which is used for email only. To add the calendar or contacts to an IMAP configuration, you must separately configure CalDav or Mac OS x Server.

Your result, however, in step 2 should not... it is indeed the exact method to integrate a Google Apps account with BB10 device, as long as you continued this process and fill in all the mandatory fields (server name, port, account information, etc.). Carefully note please that unless you are a subscriber to pay Google Apps, this method will not work for you unless you have previously configured it on the exact device on that you are trying to configure. Google has stopped support for free consumer EAS accounts some time previously and only allows such accounts for free on devices that have been previously configured before when they stopped this support. For any new device, only real paying subscribers of Google Apps can use EAS with Google... all others are limited (by Google) to IMAP/Mac OS x Server/CalDav.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Desktop Software 7.0 update will not synchronize contacts from Yahoo!

I have a Curve 8520 and I use Yahoo! for my email and contacts.  I've updated my office doftware version 7.0.0.59 and I can no longer sync my contacts.  The only sources offered by the drop-down menu are Outlook and Windows.  Can I downgrade my Desktop Software to an earlier version (including ded recognize Yahoo!)?  Or is there another solution?

    Hello again,

I finally got a solution to the original problem.  On the BB, I deleted my Yahoo! e-mail account and he added once again.  I found myself with a lot of duplicate contacts, both Yahoo!, but I managed to delete the group that claimed to have a wireless sync, and the other game seems to be OK.  So problem solved (I think).

With respect to the slow loading of Web pages, this has always been a problem.  It is less a problem when I'm very close to my Virgin Media hub.  I have used other smartphones non - BB, which are much faster.  And my daughter Iphone is loads faster (but then it's more than double the price).  So I was wondering if all BB is slow, or just my model (Curve 8520).  I can understand if it's just this model, like Virgin had many £ 8520's to 10 per month about 20 months ago.  But if they are all the same, I'll go for something different when ends my 2 year contract.

    Paul.

  • People app not syncing Contact information

    Separated from this thread.

Yes, I have the same problem.

I just reinstall Windows 8 from scratch. And many contacts from my Live account are no synchronization to the application of the point people Windows 8.1.

The people app is absolutely impossible to use.

    Salvation system,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

From your problem description, I understand that you can not synchronize contacts from people app from your real account.

I suggest the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Run applications troubleshooting

Download and run the troubleshooter modern UI App and check.

Method 2: Disable the antivirus/firewall software and check if it helps.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 3: What to do if you have problems with a soft

  • BlackBerry Q10 ActiveSync does not synchronize my Contacts after changing to another Exchange Server

I changed to another supplier of services of Exchange and now the problems with my Contacts on the Blackberry Q10. After the configuration of the new Exchange ActiveSync account, I observe the folliwng:

    1. New contacts created in Outlook / Exchange Server will not synchronize to the Q10.
    2. New contacts created on the Blackberry are synchronized backed the Exchange Server / Outlook Client.
    3. BlackBerry-Contacts are visible, but won't open (like "zombies").
    4. BlackBerry Contacts from other sources (Facebook, WhatsApp) are no longer bound together, in other words, it seems that the person has multiple contacts entries.
    5. Sending / receiving mails and work on the Blackberry calendar entries.

I fixed it myself. Now, the Contacts are all back in, deduplicated and healthy. That's what I did, step by step, in settings > accounts:
1 turn off Sync contact on the Exchange ActiveSync account
    2 delete the Facebook account
3 remove account Skype and gmail
    4. run "Delete local Contacts"
    5. in Contacts, check the number of Contacts: contact no.
    Then in settings > accounts:
    6. turn on synchronization of Contact for an Exchange account
    7. This brought all Exchange contacts
    8. Add Facebook, Skype and a gmail accounts.

    END

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 do not synchronize all the contacts

I've updated the software several months ago and I was happy to find my BB works so much better.  He stopped from asking me to enter password Yahoo mail 2 - 3 times a day.  HOWEVER, I noticed that there not synchronize all the contacts in my Google contacts list.  I found two contacts that were missing, but there could be more, because I can't go through all contacts and to understand that it does not appear on my BB.  I also noticed that new contact that I enter on the BB is not always appear on Google Contacts and vice versa.  Any solution?

I guess that's for companies only.

    https://support.Google.com/a/answer/53926?hl=en

I went to Outlook.com which offers free the Exchange Active Sync. I recommend that you set up an Outlook.com account and just use it. You do not have yet to use/sync the email if you do not want. Just use it for contacts and calendar. I've dumped Google in total and could not be happier.

  • Sync gmail contacts OK blackBerry Smartphones, but can not synchronize Emails

    Dear Blackberry community!

I recently changed my contract mobile and kept my professional Blackberry Curve 9300.

I managed to configure gmail and synchronize contacts & the order of the day, but I can't seem to synchronize emails.

It seems to me that the old configuration blocking private Email-addresses is still active, but I don't know where and how to change.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Cheers, Inken

Hello and welcome to the community!

Of what you say, I read that you had BES enabled on your BB, you have separated from the company/what BES now, but your BB was not properly cleaned of it's political, that continues to limit the things. To remedy this, you perform a specific wiping of your BB as follows:

    1. First of all, review the link of my auto-sig about backups... this process will completely clean your BB and you have to start over.
    2. Once ready, follow this KB to clean your BB of the it policy:
      • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings
    3. When / if you restore, DO NOT do a full restore, restore only those databases that are essential, especially to avoid those who have something to do with the company, BES, political, etc.. If you fail at this stage and all restore, you simply put it on your BB policy and be right where you started.

    Good luck!

  • iPhone not syncing Contacts with Outlook 2010 on Windows PC

For years, I have synced my contacts (and calendar) with Outlook 2010 Professional on my PC with Windows 7 Home Premium via the USB port.  (I don't want to use iCloud - I want to sync with the PC).

Suddenly, all my contacts on my iPhone 5 have disappeared.  I think that they were deleted when I synced my phone today.  They are always in Outlook on my PC.  My phone favorites are still on my phone, but they are only numbers with no name.

I tried to synchronize.  I tried to reset sync history.  I tried a hard reboot on my phone.  I made these several times in different order.  No dice.

My Calendars always sync, but no contact.  This is not good.

The only change that was made was recently an update of iOS on my iPhone last night to version 9.3.4.

Because I believe that all my contacts are on my phone yesterday and now they are gone today after the iOS and/or sync, I strongly suspect not syncing contacts is somehow related to the update of iOS.

Everyone knows this?  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you much in advance.

    Hi tednovak,

I'm sorry to hear that you are away from your contacts after update your iPhone to iOS 9.3.4.  Since you do not use iCloud and instead to synchronize your PC with iTunes, you did a backup of your iPhone before updating?  If so, you can restore your iPhone using iTunes:

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

If you do not have a recent backup of the data on your iPhone, you can try to resynchronize your Outlook data on your iPhone.  The resources below provides troubleshooting for this process steps.

If you are unable to synchronize your calendars and Outlook contacts on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via iTunes for Windows

  • used to synchronize contacts with all devices

A few months ago, I discovered that Contacts on my MBP would not synchronize with iCloud or my iPhone 6 or my iPad Air or my same MBA so I had everything activated in settings > iCloud on all devices. I tested the problem by creating new contacts and existing contacts to see that only updated and which has no editing. If I created a new or revised a contact on my iPhone or MBA, each currency to update except my MBP.  If I created a new or revised an existing contact on my MBP, no other devices set to date. I posted the question, but got no response, so I thought I could be alone with this problem

Now I see the same thing is happening with my MBA. The other day, I created a new contact on my MBA and is wrong on my iPhone or iPad.

There is a known bug in the synchronization program? I have the last iOS installed on my iPhone and iPad and 10.11.6 on my MBA and the MBP.

Once again, no response... but I don't see other assignments with a similar problem, so I know that I am not alone with this problem. There is certainly a bug here. I sent feedback to Apple via the Contacts > help > Feedback
