Do output sony 5.1 HDMI, audio devices connected TVS optics carry

Hello

Try to connect it to an existing SONOS system.

All HDMI devices must connect to the TV.

Worried that Audio optics translates PCM instead of keep 5.1 if it is how the content is

Thank you

Chuck

Yes, the optical port of the TV would be able to sound output from devices connected using HDMI connection. Make sure that the settings on the source device is set to 5.1 surround sound output.

I have disabled the Intel high definition HDMI audio device manager.  He retired from the list of items leaving only speakers.  I have the 'show disabled and disconnected devices' checked, but Intel HDMI high definition does not appear.   It is said that it works correctly and enabled in the Device Manager.  I have tried everything I can think of to solve the problem, including a system restore that did not work, any other ideas?   Thank you.

    Hi skw1,

I suggest that you uninstall the HDMI device from Device Manager, later visit download sound card manufacturer's website and install the latest driver for the HDMI device and check if it works.

    I hope this helps!

Hmmm.  It's very strange.  For the experience, I tried to disconnect a sound card, while the SOUL is coding.  I get the message dialog box, but the encoding continues without stopping.  Eventually, this may be specific to certain sound cards.  What is your sound card that you have on your computer?

For a workaround, could you try checking the "do not show again" checkbox in the message dialog box next time you see it?  Then, click no you should not see this message again and I hope that this problem would disappear.

    Hi @JS2045

The audio device problem HD, what you see is the Intel HDMI audio device that needs a driver.

I looked around for a driver W10 to the hardware ID you have published and fails.

This device is necessary unless you want or need audio via the port display.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the graphics driver Intel W7 laptop support and driver page, but install it... so that you target just the audio device problem...

Download, but do not work with this graphics driver...

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=4095873 & swItemId = ob_127914_1 & swEnvOid = 4059

Download and install this free utility for files.  64-bit is the second listed file.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7-zip, do a right-click on the graphic driver file you downloaded, and select 7 - zip in the list of items.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and let it extract the driver for the name of the folder (sp64360).

Go to Device Manager and click on the audio device problem Intel HD requiring the driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

    Then restart.

If you explore the driver folder 7-zip created, and then open the DisplayAudio folder, you will find the setup information file that has the hardware ID you reported that supported by the driver.

If this driver audio works on W10, I don't know.

But if you want to give that a try, it would be a way to do it without messing with the real graphics driver.

  • HDMI Audio and Windows 7

I'm trying to connect my Pavilion dv6 on my HDTV with a HDMI cable. I make the video, but no audio on the TV speakers. The problem started after I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. I had no problem with HDMI with windows Vista.

I tried to date/reinstall the audio drivers from the HP website, but it does not work. I also tried to go into the control panel and change the playback device, but the HDMI audio device icon no longer appears in the playback devices dialog box. Read-only devices are speakers and headphones double independent double headphones and SPDIF (Digital Out Via HP dock.)

How can I solve this problem? Why the HDMI device is not displayed in the reading dialog box?

Hi all HDMI his problem solved after I installed the new windows 7, icon hdmi on the menu of display devices have disappeared.  Here's what I did and the icon go back and redo the sound work of hdmi. Graphics cards intel must be updated. The link below will take you to the site intel and it detects the updates required for your system. http://www.Intel.com/support/detect.htm run the program and install the required updates and then restart windows. HDMI icon will be back and the sound will work normal as before.  I hope it will solve the problem of everyone with the hdmi sound problem. I have hp Pavilion dv6, I'm happy to hear the clear sound crisp again of my bar of his Philips HTS 8100. Kevin www.canvasdelight.com

W7 32 bit drivers vidio of operation fixed thanks, but when it is connected by HDMI, there is no Audio thru external hook toward the high peak is very good, no sound is there at - he a HDMI Audio Driver needed or knowledge to work with hp 15 race W7 32 bit

    Hello:

The driver that I gave you in your other post has a record of HDMI audio driver.

I hope that you still have the record of the driver, and in this folder, you should see a DisplayAudio file.

You may need to manually install the driver.

Under the category of audio, video and game controllers device, Manager there are two audio devices.

Audio integrated Realtek and a HDMI audio device and it may be missing the driver.

Anyway, find the audio device HD requiring the driver, click the driver tab.

Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to your Intel graphics display Audio driver folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

I also zipped and tied the record of the HDMI audio driver below if you want to use it.

  • I have a problem with finding a PnP USB audio device when you search for available audio devices.

    Hello.

I am building an application that can find a PnP USB audio device and play a tone if the device is connected. I am able to search audio devices using "Sound Device Info.vi" of the lvsound2.llb that comes with labview.

The vi can find the USB device in good conditions, but there are problems - I'll try to describe 2 scenarios.

    1. the USB device is connected before 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

In this case, the program can find the USB device. If I unplug it, the device disappears from the list of found audio devices. If I reconnect to the same USB port, it reappears in the list. It's all good.

If I reconnect it however a new USB port, the device is not found. This is not good.

    2. the USB devices is not connected when 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

"Sound Device Info.vi" is not able to find the device. Disconnect and reconnect does not make a difference.

    I'm under labview 2012 on windows 7.

I am running the application as an exe to build.

I call 'Sound Device Info.vi' as a 'call for reference"and the reference is closed between calls to the vi. I was hoping this would unload the dll used in "Sound Device Info.vi" and would solve the problem, but it didn't.

Is there a way to reset the information usb labview during execution?

    Concerning

    Stephan.

    Hey Stephan.

The sounds screws require a DLL located in:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\resource\lvsound2.dll

Internally, LabVIEW uses the DirectX API to enumerate devices. The one caveat is that probe us for devices when loading the DLL. We probe not later. So that it works for Bluetooth, USB, fire wire, etc. devices that can be inserted or removed at any time, you control somehow when this DLL charge and discharge. To do this, please see the following document:

Dynamically that I can load and unload a DLL in LabVIEW?

  • HDMI Audio driver disappears after the RDP session

I have a desktop PC that I use as a HTPC. It is running xp pro sp3. I have a graphics card Radeon HD5570 I use to connect it to my TV via the HDMI interface. I recently had a car accident and had to rebuild the system disk (re - install windows, drivers, etc.). I also have access to this computer from my office by remote desktop.
Here's the problem: I'm going to start the machine and the sound will come through the HDMI audio device on the graphics card. Later, I will connect to the machine remotely, and sound come RDP to my work PC. I'll cut and go home, but the HDMI audio device will no longer work until a reboot. HDMI audio is not listed in the menu sound options, but it shows up on Device Manager.

How can I keep the computer from the oblivion of the HDMI audio device when I connect to RDP?

If you use the catalyst driver version 12.4, there may be a bug in the driver as described in the following link:

  • After you have reinstalled windows xp, I lost my audio devices of the system

I plugged in a new usb mouse and hub 4way in my computor screen went blue, wgen she is back on I had no control of the mouse. I plugged the old mouse, the screen was frozen. Ishut down and rebooted but nothing works. I reinstalled windows xp butnow I have not any showwing audio device connected. the motherboard is foxcom

You has not LOST the device if you have installed new XP Windows.  You simply do not have the device for device drivers, Windows XP can actually communicate with the device.

You will need to download and install all THE drivers for hardware devices.  Motherboard chipset, audio, video, networks, printers, scanners, cameras and so forth.

"Foxcom" tells us nothing and is only part of the story.  In order to get the drivers, you will need to know each device you have (or at least the make and model of the motherboard or computer as a whole.)

  • No sound from the TV using a HDMI cable not connected to the laptop ASUS G75VW.

I have an ASUS G75VW, when I connect the HDMI to my TV, I get only audio through my computer laptop speakers or headphones, while it is plugged.  In addition, the TV picture is only 480 p.  When I check the sound icon, it shows that the HDMI port is "not connected" even though it is.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver on both the NVIDIA site and the site of ASUS.  Same question.  Help, please!

    Hello

Make sure that it has the TV volume.

You can also make sure that the connections are appropriate. Try to connect to another HDMI port as well.

Refer to the section: "Check if the cables are connected correctly" and set the HDMI audio device as the default value.

    No sound in Windows
