Do the replacement OEM cartridges

OEM print cartridges will damage the printer? I have a color laserjet 4500dn and over time the ink seems to smear on the entire page. So, if it's a white sheet of paper (I use 24lb quality Laser) the "no print" areas lack clarity. It must be white, and it seems that ink has spread over the page causes a haze about it. I am trying to determine if it's the OEM cartridges or if a new drum unit is necessary to solve the problem. I called for a tech to look at the printer and no one is going out. I tried to use the cleaning procedures described in the manual without success. Please notify. I appreciate it. I have a lot of work on the case.

Hi rmouer1124,

Looks like the drum can cause galling. If you look at the drum and the Green roller has toner or brands top then you will need to replace it.

  • Does not print after the replacement of cartridges

I changed cartridges in a few years on this printer successfully. I have Windows 7, and it is an officejet 6500; E709N model #CB803A; Serial No. [personal information].

Today, when I replaced the black ink, nothing will be printed, and the printer says black ink are locked. There is nothing in the manual about a carton of locking or unlocking of a cartridge. What should I do?

I would like to start by making sure that the cartridges are locked and the electrical contacts on the cleaning cartridges. Accumulation can cause sensors in the machine to read the wrong cartridges sometimes. Here is a document that includes the steps I take for your printer model. He wears a generic error message, but this is where I would start by following these troubleshooting steps.

At the end of operations cleaning, if continues to receive this error message, I would also do a hard reset. No user settings are lost with a hard reset, and it tries to restore the printer to a working condition and clear the error message. To do a hard reset:

    1. with the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet and turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
2 then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    3. wait at least 30-60 seconds
    4. plug the power cord into the wall outlet first. If a module with the power cord, make sure that the light of the module and then reconnect power cord on the back of the printer
    5. the printer should power back on by itself, but if not use the power button on front panel to turn on machine.

  • HP Officejet 4630: Hp Officejet ' ink cartridge problem: the following ink cartridge must be replaced '

We've had this printer for several years and she did beautifully until I bought a new ink colored and installed and all of a sudden, he said that there was a lack of ink cartridge. Then I went out and bought black ink (because it is low in any case) and installed it but this message kept popping up 'the following ink cartridges need to be replaced' (for color) even if she had new ink cartridges. But all trying to find a solution, I discovered the functions of the good printer without going through a color cartridge inside, but as soon as I put the color cartridge inside the same error message appears on the color ink. I tried to clean it up and unplug it and clean the cartridges. IM wondering if my last choice is to bring in the printer if it looked

    Good evening
It was in fact unfortunately useless that I did all these steps twice I even bought the new ink color for this printer and the problem persists. I hope I can find a solution quickly!

    Hi mak-86.

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are facing some print quality problems on your HP Photosmart 6510, you cannot print black ink after changing the cartridge.

I would like to continue you here: printer does not print black ink or color of ink or prints blank Pages, I understand, you may have made some of these steps already but I need you to complete all the steps in order to solve the problem of the missing black, you encounter.

If you are unable to print in black ink, I think that the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. I sent a private message on the Forums, go to your userpage to the right of your username.

I hope hear from you soon.

    Thank you

  • P1102w: Buy a new printer or the more expensive replacement toner cartridge?

My P1102W printer cartridge is empty.  Can I buy the printer brand new for $15 and less than just buying a replacement cartridge.

I see the replacement cartridge is capable of 1 600 pages, but can't find anything that describes the ability of the cartridge in stock.

Why should I buy a cartridge replacement on this basis?  The replacement cartridge have more ink and print to that effect more pages than the cartridge that comes with the printer?

    Thank you

    Hello

Normally Yes, cartridges that come with the printers (Laser and ink jet, all suppliers) have fewer inks/tonners - in many cases only around 50%.

    Kind regards.

  • DeskJet 932C, you can print with just replace the black ink cartridge?

My question is basically simple.  The printer DeskJet 932C can operate with only black ink?  Color ink was empty for a while now, but the printer kept working, printing in black and white.  Due to the cost of the ink and the absence of any income available, we just changed the black ink cartridge.  The problem now is that the printer will not print not even black and white.  Do I have to scrape some funds to replace the color ink cartridge, or y at - it another way to get the printer working with just the new black cartridge?

    Thank you in advance!

    Michael Sponable

    Hello

Your printer can print in black only, but up to a certain point , you need tri-cartouche color otherwise it will not print. It's a little late now, otherwise if you only need to print B & W, a monochrome laser printer is very good and much cheaper to run (in terms of cost per page).

    Kind regards.

  • HP ENVY 4502: New out of box want 4502 says 'the following ink cartridges need to be replaced.

I bought a new HP ENVY 4502. I have out of the box, follow the installation instructions precisel before 4.9 step. The printer says 'Cartridge Install' with a blue under circle. I can't go any further.

I turn the machine off and on again and everything looks OK and I can continue with the installation.

Is this normal or does indicate that there is a problem with the new printer or cartridges provided?

Thank you for your help; I look forward to a response

    Hi @johngray,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I'd love to help you with your newly purchased 4502 envy. From your description, it seems that you have seen the 'Installation cartridge' message with a blue circle and could not move forward through the installation until you turned the printer off and on again. Your message, it sounds like once you have turned off the printer and turn it on again you were able to complete the installation, is that correct? I think that maybe there was a minor hiccup and the printer does not detect that the cartridge was installed, I don't think that it is an indication of how the printer will behave in the future.

If you encounter any other complications please let me know and I will gladly make all that I can to help.

  • computer still displays the empty ink cartridges

Every time I print, this dialog box appears. (I replaced the cartridges)

It happened for a while now.  I continue to click Black only and it prints, as everthing I was need to print is strictly black.  However, now I am trying to print photos and I need color. I need to erase this message... but have no idea how.  The computer shows the levels correct as being complete... but still, I get this message ink and only on this computer.  On the macbook, it is not pop up and prints fine.

Someone knows how to fix this?

I have a HP all in one Photosmart C7280 running on Windows 7.

    Thank you.

    Hi gvchick03,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you amirouche get a print in black ink only error or to replace the Cyan and Magenta cartridges, but the ink cartridges are filled according to the ink levels. Have you ever set printing preferences to use black ink only or print in grayscale? Even if you select only one scale or gray black it still requires all the colors and all ink cartridges pull.

Please take a look here and make sure that the preference is not affected in black ink only or grayscale. Refer to step 1:

Impressions of color in black and white images

Now, I would like that you remove all the cartridges and do a hard reset on your HP Photosmart C7280, see here: reset of the printer

Once the printer is full initialized, please replace each cartridge one by one. Now, check the ink levels are they accuse even more complete? Try printing a test page, you still see the error message come?

Now go ahead and run HP print and Scan Doctor- it has been designed to provide users with HP and features troubleshooting fix needed to solve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan the products related to Windows computers.

Let me know the results, I can't wait to hear from you.

  • I have a deskjet 1000 and bought the HP 61 cartridge.

I have a deskjet 1000 and bought the HP 61 cartridge. The deskjet printer came with 122 HP cartridges.  I tried to install the HP 61 cartridge but the message is "incompatible cartridge".

    Hello

You must use #122 cartridges, I know 61 = 122/2 but this is not the case. Please go to the shop and ask for a replacement.

  • LaserJet 1150: Laserjet 1150 problems after you insert the new ink cartridge

Hi, I am the owner of this very good printer for 10 years now.  Used only a single all these years ink cartridge (I use it only for work related missionery) with not a single problem.  When we bought it we also bought a replacement ink cartridge.  However, when I put in place the new ink cartridge, I have a problem of printing documents.  Each document gives me the same results.  I took it to the store of the local computer, which shook the cartrdige vigorously and I also ran the service option in the HP printer Toolbox. The guy at the computer said I need to print a lot of papers and see what is happening... what I did.  But the result in each impression remains exactly the same. The annex in the printed document.  Can we still do this ink cartridge work after having been stored for 10 years?  Thank you for reading my message.

You have a bad toner cartridge.  Given that this printer is very old, there is a lot new in the old box of cartridges of toner there stock.  Over time, the wiper blade will hurt comes from there.  Think that buy you a new toner from a big box store which should have new actions and you will come back if the cartridge is bad.
