  I use a nor-6008 to perform a thermal sector and I get the error "error-50103 occurred at DAQmx Start Task.vi:11 '. I have read other forums of discussion and it seems combe because I use the wizard DAQmx who don't properly resolve the resource when finsihed. I've dug further and saw that it is linked to an on-board clock synchronization problems. However, I can understand how to solve this problem.

  I thought that I create a loop that continuously monitors inputs and sometimes to interrogate the memory so I'm not kidding to the top of the clock. It's much harder to do than sounds. Can someone take a look at my code and give me some advice/suggestions to clean the DAQmx assistants.

  I finished by dividing my resource between the two input channels using a single assistant DAQ and dividing down the data rate and the number of samples. Works fine now.

  If you create a channel of the task, or scale just usuing the screw to create or Assistant session wire io is the only way to pass the info autour.  It is not saved anywhere on the disc.  A channel of the task or the scale in a project can be used by anything in this project.  A channel of the task or the scale recorded in MAX can be used by anything on this machine.  Its an extended thing.

  And Yes, the DAQ Assistant fresh extra performance overhead and the poor than the DAQmx API.  Often, it won't have the impact of a little experiment.  Large applications should avoid the express Visa.

  Thank you for the update.  I assumed you didn't intend the output to be continuous (smooth).

  Screw Express generally are not designed for this type of use because they open and close a session whenever you call one.  This should result in a glitch in the output as you have seen.  To be honest, I'm quite surprised you did not see this before not smooth behavior with your application on Windows XP, and I don't have a good explanation of why it worked.  I can, however, recommend a more robust approach to generate this smooth output you are looking for.

  If the goal is to only move once by INIT (for example once you start moving, do not stop until you are finished, how the VI returns to INIT state), you must convert your VI Express DAQmx code (right-click"NOR-DAQmx generate code).  And try a similar implementation in your case EXEC & LUN.  This should produce the desired behavior.

  I'm having quite the difficulties of merging the two screws I'm trying to get the thermocouple readings and pressure readings in a VI. I think the two AOs are competing for the resources of the clock. Please forgive my noob-ness. I am very new to LabVIEW and it is not the most intuitive. I have attached the thermocouple VI I try to insert in the VI pressure. I appreciate all help. Two screws were working before the merger.

  Hi all -

  I had a question about writing continuously to analog output reading simultaneously an analog input.

  It's my first time to post a message to the community, so please let me know if I made mistakes.

  I use Labview 2011 with a NEITHER-DAQ USB 6215.

  I'm looking to generate a waveform and write it continuously in an analog output. It is then connected to an entry on the acquisition of data, where I am trying to sample the analog signal. (I realize, there is a system of trivial, but I'm hoping to build on it once I have run).

  The task of reading from the analog input works fine, as I tested it in several other cases. I have a problem writing to the analog output.

  For this task, I tried to follow the "Gen Cont Wfm Clck Int' VI to generate the wave form and start the task. I then try to write to the output of the analog timed loop. However, it does not seem to transmit a signal and doesn't give me any errors.

  I have attached the VI but also a screenshot.

  Please let me know if anyone has any ideas. I would really appreciate the help!

  We will review your tasks one at a time.  First of all, the task of generation/Analog output Waveform.  Generate you a waveform (I'm unsure of your VI if it is a fixed waveform or not) and send it to a defined output function to produce a waveform continuously, using N-channel and samples of N (where you set not these previously).  You should not put this inside has timed loop, as the DAQ hardware has its own clock - if you simply put it in a while loop (with a stop to break out of the loop), the loop will call the function for the first points of N, wait until all N have been taken out, then call it again to another N points (up to what you press Stop).

  Now, suppose that you have the output connected to a load voltage (say a decent resistance).  You can wire the input terminals of your A/D converter through the same load and set up a similar analog input loop, running in parallel (i.e. in its own independent of the OD loop, while loop).  You pourriez start together (with, say, a merged error since the initialization code line loops HAVE and AO become lines of error in "loops of sampling" described above), but you might want to delay loop (a little) the AI so that the OD has a chance to set the voltage before the bed.

  I downloaded the official Toshiba mobility driver for Windows Vista 32-bit (I had a Satellite A100 (PSAA9) for construction in mobility x 1400.

  Once I run the Setup, it will install the ccc, but the real driver, no matter what I do! If I try to install the driver manually, Windows says

  "Unable to read from the device (ATI Mobility X 1400).

  As an error during the installation. It will not work in safe mode, either.

  The Toshiba driver page provides 2 different graphics drivers for A100 PSAA9E series; nVidia and ATI.

• DAQmx start and read series vi low bits before actually reading

  I use DAQmx writing to set the bit on a map of 9403. When I set a little high, then try to read this small in a vi subseqeuent little gets low! Both DAQmx Start DAQmx Read screws seem to back the lower wick. How is that supposed to happen? I was certain that bits would not be initialized weak unless the device has been reset.

  I'm guessing that you create a digital output channel, call start, writing and then create as a separate digital input channel and call start-> reading or reading.

  Create the input channel changes the direction of the line.  This happens to commit (which you cross when they if call to start, or read with no departure).  Once the changes of direction, you no longer drive line.  That's why you always read zero.

  You have two options.  You can call read after write (in the task of digital output), or you can have fun with the tristate property.  TriState is a channel DAQmx (DigitalOutput-> Tristate) property.  Aid that it is good enough.

  I use cDAQ 9174 with NI 9401 to measure the period of the encoder.  I have two encoders and learned that I need to have a separate task for each.  Initially, I got an error telling me that the task was not reserved, so I followed the advice of the forum and added the TASK of CONTROL DAQmx, STORE of the value.  That eliminates the error, but now I have a new error 50103, which offers very few details of what actually is the error.  The seal is a snippet of the code, you see where there are three tasks, two tasks of meter to measure the period of encoder, and task of measurement of blood pressure, which in my opinion is not related to this error.
