docx without MS Office document generation

I'm trying to understand if it is possible to generate a .docx document or change a docx/docm without having MS Office installed.

There is no library G pure lang who create docx documents?

Thank you.

.docx is a quite complicated XML file format, I doubt that there is a native LabVIEW application for this anywhere. You may be able to do some simple find/replace on strings inside XML or try to use xml for find/replace analytical tools that you need - try opening up with something like Notepad and see what you can do.

Did you mean an office or a note?
As far as I know the a Note is part of the recovery Image and the CD is not supplied with the unit. In addition, Toshiba units are not delivered with the Office 2000 software.

As I installed the toshiba bluetooth stack (on my Satellite Pro U200) last week, MS Office documents are very slow to open when I choose them by double-clicking from windows Explorer. If I first start Office then use "Open" to open the document, the document opens very quickly.

The problem disappears as soon as I uninstall the Bluetooth stack.

This issue is documented on the website and can apparently be solved using the instead microsoft bluetooth stack.

However, I don't seem to be able to install this driver on my laptop.

  • HP printers: Solution: can't print Microsoft Office documents, or print documents disappear in Windows 7

    Dear all,

If you come across printing number where you will be not able to print only Microsoft Office documents or print documents disappear in Windows 7.

It is caused by changes to security settings on the user's profile. You can either create a new user, login with the new user profile to the printer

Or disable UAC from the control panel and reboot the PC. Here are the steps for Configuring UAC

    Hope it helps

    Good impression.

Thank you for taking the time to post this solution.

I was pulling my hair out for several hours now and it worked like a charm.

7640 was printing test print, .pdf and Notepad files but it wouldn't print anything from office, chrome, firefox or thunderbird.

Power Googling finally turned to the top of your message and I have not seen anything to suggest it is common knowledge, but I think this problem is quite regular, so I hope others find your post.

  • Windows Mail won't open Office documents

I'm looking through the various fixes for it but none works for me, the main reason being that I can not save the file.  When I try and open an Excel file from Windows Mail, nothing happens.  I right click to save money, but save it under the bar says type "attachment (*.)" *)"and no .xls.  I click on save and get the message "the command cannot be run."  It also doesn't let me print.

It is a very recent problem that I can't seem to get a fix for.  A suggestion made online, I got Microsoft Office but the problem persists.  Can someone please help me because I really need to be able to open Excel documents to work on it and return the people.
Your help would be very appreciated.

It seems that Windows Mail opens to 'open Office documents '.

  • Document generation functionality exist in IIS?

The OPA 10.4.5 Install Guide mentions J# Redistributable Package installation for PDF Document generation, but it doesn't seem to be a server document generation binary equivalent to the installation of the document-generation file - server.war in a J2EE environment.

The Server Document provided with the OPA 10.4 generator is Java only, as this is a wrapper to several Oracle BI Publisher JAR libraries.  The developer of the OPA's Guide explain how it works if you are interested (

To enable the generation of document with IIS, the simplest method is to install Apache Tomcat and configure specifically for WAR Server-generator of documents (

The reference to J# in the installation guide is misleading, because it is no longer relevant for the generation plugin legacy document used before the OPA 10.3.  While it is still supported, it doesn't have the ability to easily create models of document for the legacy plugin and I would discourage to use it for any new project.

I am trying to download a cover letter & their system will not let me in its current form. It was written in the microsoft office 2007 program. Thank you

Microsoft Office 2007 uses the .docx format, which they should support. If they are not, here's how to convert the file to .doc or .pdf format:

    Click the office button
    Click on "Save as".
Click on the menu "save as type".
Select "Word 97-2003 Document" to convert it into .doc
Choose 'PDF' to convert to PDF
Click 'Save', and then upload it.
