  I have an ACER ASPIRE E15 (ES1-512-C35P model), even though I know that is not equipped with an optical drive, I was wondering if I can install one in the blamked off the coast of port in the case? Specifically, is the motherboard configured for an optical drive or ssd in this model and if so what parts do I need to install an optical drive in this model.

  (I saw lists of parts for other models Aspire E15 on the forums, but am not sure that these are common for all models.)

  I have the acer ES1-512-C162 from a friend. The question that is will not start. If you press the power button the blue light flashes, I hear the beginning of the HARD disk, but it stops immediately.

  The BIOS will not start.

  If I remove the HARD drive and try to boot without HDD I just get a flashing blue light. I also put in another HARD drive, but then only blue light blinked.

  Can anyone help?

  I addressed the issue woth my friend. It will not repair the notebook, but buy a new. I put the HD in an external container, and the data on the hard drive can be recovered.

  Hi all.
  Acer Aspire es1 512 about 8 months old... unfortunately was running that bloody Win 8.1 with Bing oem

  Started slower and slower start for no apparent reason... (+ 10 mins to start)

  Tried restoring win 8.1,repairreset palarvour and he just constantly stuck on auto repair, do nothing.

  Tried to upgrade to win 10 (the one where I'd install clean drive)... got so far and then projected black.

  Now when it boots up, I get the screen where it says that the image below

  Just a quick update, so I'm not leaving this hanging.

  Scan found 100, in thousands of errors.

  During the next startup the laptop told me that there is no bootable operating system.

  The hard drive was dead as a dodo so he sent to Acer via UPS.

  They said that the hard drive was indeed defective and replaced the hard drive and sent it to me

  within 5 days under the 1 year warranty.

  Turn on the computer laptop and relocation of the stuff, I was immediately greeted with a "this laptop.

  can be upgraded to windows 10 '' unfortunately I don't think I'll try that again :-)

  I had the model Acer ES1 - 512 this past Christmas. I love listening to music while writing or drawing, but I can't seem to find any headphones that fit into the hole on the back of the computer. I used several pairs of work, and none of them go to bottom. What kind of headset/headphones adapt and, if possible, are also compatible with iPhone and Android phones?

  I read the upgrade of RAM is available for this laptop, even if it has no plate rear common access to may other portable.

  I guess the entire back must be removed. Anyone else done this and been able to point me in the right direction.

  There are many videos, pictures and online of the instructionals for diyers.

  Look for screws hidden between the keys or the covers of top plate that will allow

  the bottom to detach from the top. I only have information for you on this model

  (note that it has only support memory, limiting capacity upgrade is.) Hope this helps):

• Aspire ES1-512-P8NA battery recharge

  I have a laptop Aspire ES1-512-P8NA.  When it is connected to an external power supply, the battery meter started recently indicating that it is connected but does not support.  The amount of charge seems to be stuck at 95%.  I've read a number of articles and messages offering fixes that involve removing and replacing the battery, but this model does not allow that - the battery seems not to be accessible from the outside of the computer.  Is there any other way to approach this problem?

  Turn off the power. On the bottom of the laptop is a pin hole.

  It has a memory location and you can switch to 8 GB, although I think 4 GB would be plenty in this laptop.

  You can also put in an SSD.
