Does not connect to iTunes store account

Recently set up a new iMac (EL Capitan 10.11.3) via Time Machine backup. When I tried to access my bank account, nothing... would not produce dialog error or guests. Tried to activate the new Mac - again, no visible reaction. So I disconnected from the iTunes store. Now, I can not connect - I can click on the drop down of the app, but still, there is no visible response from the system. Even did an update to V12.3.3.17. Nothing to do. My works AppleID and iCloud fine everywhere else. A ran repair permissions, but nothing was out of line. Anyone else get these symptoms?

You must update El Capitan at v10.11.4.

Click on your Apple  top left of your screen.

In the drop-down menu, click on about this Mac

Make sure the " view " tab is selected, and then click software update.

Your Mac may restart several times during the update. That's ok.

Then try to access your iTunes account.

  • CBS All Access - will not connect to iTunes Store

    OK-try to make the free trial but everytime I try to enter the password, it just says: "cannot connect to iTunes Store.

    Interestingly, all shows active account... I even received an email from  a confirmation e-mail?  If you look at the settings of all access to CBS - it shows that I am connected?  I can access the store and rent movies, watch Netflix and Hulu, so I know I have a good connection.

    I tried to restart the tv  - he's twice with no luck...

    My 9530 dies after 6 weeks, so Verizon changed out for a new. Now the app store won't let me open a session. It validates my PayPal and then says credentials download my apps. A few seconds later, I get "unable to authenticate the user at this time, please try again later."

    I get this message on the support site, and he said that there are many causes for it (can you be more vague). There is of course no number to call to get someone to help him with it.

    It is deplorable that the phone went questionable in less than 2 months. Now, I can't get to my apps that I paid for.

    A phone call to Verizon basically told me that it wasn't their problem.

    Is - fixable? I'm starting to understand why people use the term "crapberry.

    Resolved - RIM made me call Verizon, which in turn I patched into the RIM. Once I was officially connected to RIM, they made some magic at their end and reset

    An interesting point that came up during this discussion with RIM that I feel is worth mentioning here to maybe help someone else. If the PayPal account has an expired credit card attached to it, it could generate an error I received. Even if your main source of financing is your checking account or a different credit card, this could happen.

  • Windows 8 Mail App does not connect to the Outlook account

    Recently downloaded and installed Win8, no obvious problems so far.

    I want to set up my "Mail" app to get the mail on my outlook.com account. However, every time I get back the address email + password who logs me in me oriented web Outlook.com account, he said 'we could not find settings, please provide more information' and asks the domain names and the server.

    My outlook.com account is an account that is only associated with my windows user account, based on my own e-mail account as a connection made by myself in order to use integrated Ms. There is no outlook or hotmail related account. Despite this, I use outlook.com to receive e-mail from my other Inbox via pop and "receive mail from other accounts".
    Trying to connect to outlook.com fine online works, try with mail app fails with this, even if it's a known workaround solution to get pop mail on the win8 Mailer application.
    My solution was to simply go to 'rename the account' to outlook.com and create an e-mail address for microsoft based 'real' (@outlook.com) and migrate my windows account for this. Post instantly connected without problem, and my redirect pop still works.
    Pity that couldn't stop time on the chat line for microsoft technology, it just kept saying 'call your provider of domain for more details'. It could have been resolved in 30 seconds he said "you need a real Microsoft based outlook.com e-mail use it»

    You're out of luck.  For use with iOS iTunes 9, you need at least OS X 10.8.5.

    You can't get an older version of the iOS either.  If you must live without using iTunes with your iPhone, or get a newer computer.

    Well I just installed the latest update for iPhone/iTunes, and now my devices does not connect to iTunes.

    I tried uuninstalling and reinstall the software for the device, changed USB ports, changed cables and even turned the computer and phones power on and off and still no joy.

    My phone load when I plug so the cables are very well

    Try the following:

    1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
    2. Plug in your device
    3. Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
      It is also possible that the device may appear under imaging devices, portable devices or other devices or as a device USB of MTB.
    4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
    5. Click Browse my computer for driver software
    6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or
      C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
    7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer
    8. Click on Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
    9. Click Next, then close and exit the Device Manager

    Or try If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod - Apple Support.

    If not try a complete tear down and rebuild iTunes in accordance with the resolution of the problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

    I can access Internet, I meet the iTunes system requirements and my operating system is up-to-date (10.11.3).

    I downloaded and reinstalled iTunes. Version has been 1.3.2.35 before and after installation.

    The problem is the specific user account. I can reach the iTunes store from another account, a 'clean' relatively unused, but not from 'my' main account. This shows that the problem is not anything with any external network for Mac equipment.

    The next step is to try s.o.s. Keychain, and I am puzzled. Links to an obsolete page that is inaccurate, and I'm darn if I can find it. I guess I'm supposed to be using the Keychain Access application, which I use almost never, and I can't find S.o.s. keychain. "First" by typing in the box help does not work.

    If your Yahoo email account is an IMAP account, you can check the settings here: Apple Mail search parameters, then you can delete the account and set up again.     I recently updated my iTunes and now my iPhone does not connect to my iTunes. The computer asks me if I want to enable Apple Mobile Device Service to make changes to my computer. If I say 'No', iTunes responds so that this unusable iPhone because Apple's MDS is not started. If I say 'Yes', iTunes does not show that the phone is connected. Note: the phone will still charge.     I went to the Apple Store and called Apple Care. The problem is with the computer definentally. My phone connects to iTunes on other fine computers and my power cord works fine as well. Apple Care think that something in my computer blocks iTunes for some reason that I can't share my screen with Apple Support and "updates of Windows cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running." You may have to restart your computer. »

    I have rebooted both my computer and phone several times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes.

    I don't know what to do at this point. I would like to avoid having to buy a new computer...

    Thank you for your comments. My roommate eventually find me a partial solution. We uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled an iTunes earlier. He thinks that my computer isn't compatible with the latest version of iTunes. So I have the version iTunes 12.1.1 for Windows (64-bit for older video cards), rather than the 12.1.2. We are still not certain why my computer did not have the latest version (it's probably just old) but I can find my iPhone on iTunes now so I'll just ti let to the old version.
