Don't stay connected to the internet browser

I have a Hp Pavilion 15 laptop pc. The problem Im having is that I will be hooked up to the Web browser and it will work for about 5 minutes and then I will not connect after that. I know this isn't the connection because everything else on this network works and even the e-mail on my laptop button will always sync all my emails. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. (using firefox) and also tried using internet explore. I was wondering what are some other steps that I can go through.

Hello

Check if you have more than one anti-virus... as a trial version has also installed. If there is then uninstall it and check.

Then run this microsoft fixit and check: [as you have HP Pavilion 15 I assume you have windows 8/8.1]

Reset TCP/IP

If the problem persists then check it in SafeMode with network. Check if the problem continues also in Safe Mode. If the browser works fine in Safe Mode with network can do a clean boot and try again in normal mode...

Perform a clean boot

So basically since a few days my phone sometimes don't remain not connected to the internet network of BT-Hub3. I connect to it and then sometimes, it will stay connected for a minute for a few seconds and then disconnect. When I go to the wifi thing it seems available to connect to. After a couple of times that to happen, it will say wrong password (this is the password) and disconnect me and then I have to type the password. Repeat to infinity. It's honestly so frustrating.

Sometimes it will stay and be fine but his is happened twice in the last few days and never happened before with any phone I've had.

I try my phone with my BT-Hub4 internet network and it will stay connected. The only problem with this is that the internet is further (bottom), so has a low connection that does not charge anything unless I lean on my bed.

Initially, I assumed my internet pick, but I'm typing this I am connected to the network BT-Hub3 without disconnect him, even once.

I had the phone for a year and 2 months (previous owner had since October/November/December in the year of release) and recently got a replacement of the unofficial battery if this of any help. I also still have my phone on the low power mode. The phone always properly connect to the BT-Hub3 network even with unofficial battery and low power however mode.

I had several other problems with the phone (camera, apps download not heat no reason apparent, random battery drains despite the new battery in just 3 months and has the same problem with the battery, slow Touch ID that apparently is not normal), which most recently happened.

I had all the settings to reset a week or two ago but surely if who messed with my settings internet I would have had the internet issue earlier? Not sure if I should try to reset the network settings. I hate this and only do if I need to.

One last note, I have the latest version of iOS so ignore saying his 9.3.2 on

    Hi pinkdolphins0400,

Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with your iPhone does not stay connected to your internet connection at home. I use my home Wi - Fi network to stay connected, so I use all the cell data, if I can understand wanting to make sure that you are able to stay in touch. I am pleased to provide you with a few suggestions for you.

The first thing I recommend you do is follow the steps described in the following article. It seems that you have already experienced some of these steps, but I want to be sure that you have covered everything.

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi network

Since you mentioned that your iPhone will stay connected to your network to another, you can take a look at the network settings for the one that you are having problems staying connected to. Article below provides information about network configurations suggested for Apple devices. You can also check with the manufacturer for your BT 3 - Hub see if there are updates that must be performed. This can cause problems with disconnects.

Recommended settings for the WiFi routers and access points

For other problems you mentioned (apps do not download, camera, battery draining, contact ID, etc.) reset settings was a big step in troubleshooting to try. If these things are always happening, I recommend making a backup of your iPhone and then restore it via iTunes. The backup will ensure that your data is saved. When you perform the restore via iTunes, you'll want to set up as a new device (temporarily), and then test it. Once you test, you can try to restore your backup. You can find all of the information below, you will need.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

  • PC will not stay connected to the Internet in the evening.

(Moderator note: title was "network programs network networking Internet Web site Site Web Web Site URL")

My Dell laptop that was purchased in March, 2012, had no problems to connect to the internet until recently.  Now it connects the morning, but stop connection from about 18:00.  Why is happening.  My router is Lynksys.

    Margaret,

I guess that your laptop will connect to your wireless router.

If your laptop loses connectivity each day at roughly at the same time (18:00), then the problem could be due to the interference of the networks your neighbor's wireless.

There is a setting in your router for the channel to use for traffic wireless (channel 0 to 11).

If you can find this setting, then change it. The best channels to use (with less interference) are 0, 6, and 11. Your router is probably set to one of these three (but can be assigned to any channel between 0 and 11). Change the string parameter (and try 0, 6 or 11... that we're different from the one that is currently in your router).

If you can't control the settings of your router, try to do a google search on the brand of your router (linksys), model and word settings... you should be able to find a description on how to change the settings.

If you want to get into more technical details, use the free utility called inSSIDer... it can be used to see exactly what interference your wireless router is your neighbors... to help see you in the selection of a channel which is not used by your neighbors.

  • Problem to stay connected to the internet through the wireless router.

I'm having a strange problem.  My computer will stay connected wireless for anywhere between 2-30 minutes before losing connectivity.  However, it works when I plug it into the router, which is what I'm doing now.  I have tried everything I can think of to eliminate the problem, but it has not changed.  Usually, once it shuts down it will stay off until I have change the frequency of router or something.  Reset the router works every time some time, but nothing is definitely the problem.

I disabled ipv6, reset the router, update windows, restarted several times that I have unplugged router and modem, reconfigured frequency channel of the router, among other things.

It must be a problem with my computer because my roommate both have computers that are working properly.  In addition, it is a relatively new problem.  I've had my computer for a few months now and it has worked well up until that 2 days ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Through a Linksys router.  When on AOL or IE, I get finally starts off.   Sometimes, but rarely I can stay connected for an hour of time it starts me after 5 min.  All the various moments. Sometimes it boots me to the blue screen.  I have connected via ethernet directly and did not have this problem.  This problem has been for about a month or two, the previous year that it worked perfectly.  So I guess it's in my wireless connection.  A Tech asked me to completely restore my computer but I am hesitant to start it if it could be something to the difficulty. I restore to a checkpoint two months back.  This did not help.   Any ideas?

  • Cannot stay connected to the network, even after replacing my old router.

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L655 is one year old and its operating system is Windows 7 home Premium I have Comcast internet service and use a NetGear wireless router.

Recently, about 2 months ago I got this router in Comcast, in replacement of my old 1. Why I asked that a new router was the former 1 had problems to stay connected to the internet. The problem persisted even with the new router so I look at it is not not a problem with Comcast or the router. I tried resetting the connection, the son, restart the router, diagnostics running on my laptop and are not yet able to resolve the problem. I run disc optimization, defragment the hard drive, run many virus / spyware scans and tried to disable startup programs as much as possible. This problem has frustrated me for months and I want to get it resolved. It sucks paying all that money for equipment and service and there not work directly without having to spend more money, which I have unfortunately not yet. Any help is very appreciated.

  • My Firefox don't surf the Internet, even though I am connected to the Internet.

Excuse me, but my Firefox 3.6 just randomly stopped working. It wont let me not browse the Internet more - it still gives me the error message is "Unable to connect", even if I am connected to the Internet. Earlier I open Safari and Internet Explorer 9 - both, in which, allow me to browse the Internet, and I had a complete connection. But, whenever I use Firefox now, it said 'unable to connect '. And whenever I type in a URL on it, Firefox gives me the SAME error message. I don't know what to do now. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it does the same thing. So now I'm stuck with using Safari, when I really want to use my Firefox. Why would he do that?

Make sure that you do not appear to work offline in the file menu.

It is possible that your connection has been interrupted, even briefly, more so if using wireless. Make sure that Firefox is not set on "[v] work offline" in the file menu just above output.

By default, Firefox 3.5 and 3.6 will automatically use offline mode if there is no network connection. Under certain conditions, after the connection is restored, it can stay in offline mode, without the user's knowledge. Firefox 4 and newer prevents this behavior by default. To prevent this behavior in versions 3.5 and 3.6, add an entry to the topic: config options, as follows.

       * Type about:config in Location (address) bar
       * Right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and use "New > Boolean" to create a new Boolean preference. Name: network.manage-offline-status. Value: false

Thank God I have a second, a laptop computer to ask for help on.

    Welcome to the forum.

I don't see why the browsers do not work due to a change to the Audio.  I can imagine that the Audio does not, but I do not see the link between an update to the Audio and network failure.

I do not recognize the patch / update installed.

    • Do you have the new driver Audio HP's?  If Yes: so, what's the name of the sp package *?

    The following come to mind...

    ======================================================================================

    System restore

    • "Back in time" to a point where everything worked.

Using Microsoft System Restore - Vista

    NOTE:

    • Restaurant sometimes works best if you first remove the system in Safe Mode.
    • If restore works, but the system will not back-track, there may be something weird going or system has not created a Point of restoration for the necessary period of time.

    ======================================================================================

    Recovery Manager - Vista

    • Restore and reinstall the original comes from driver tjhat on operating system

HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - performing a software Application or recovery Driver (Windows Vista)

    ======================================================================================

Install the driver from the website of your computer

The Audio driver for your Vista system is presented as an 'Update' instead of a 'pilot', or 'original '.  You might be able to use it as a stand-alone facility - which means that the wording of the document is misleading - or the packaging may actually be dependent on the original driver that is not available on the website for Vista 32 bit OS.

HP Pavilion Slimline s3307c Desktop PC drivers & downloads - Audio

    NOTES

    • To REMOVE the driver in Device Manager, you must uninstall, AND check the box to remove the driver. -Restart the system to complete the uninstallation.
    • This opens the system up to the old driver installation / original / correct, but this means that you must have something available to replace the removed driver.
    • If you use the Recovery Manager, you may not be everything first remove the existing driver - you can try just saying the system to restore the original and see if it works.  Restart the computer after installation.

    =====================================================================================

The driver can be very well and it's the cache driver and instructions in memory which is trashed.  Power reset drain all the old instructions and forces the system to go on the drive to read the drivers and software on the computer.

    Resetting the forced feeding

Execution of a coercive power reset or forced Reset

Power reset cannot tell the difference between drivers - it does not analyze a driver before applying.  It assumes that all the drivers on your computer belong there.

    EXAMPLE:

    • If the driver on the disk is the wrong driver before rebooting, it's always the wrong driver after the reset.
    • If the INSTRUCTIONS of the driver are tangled, messed up, or there are missing pieces of these instructions, the reset can solve the problem.

Why a power reset works to solve some problems:

The power reset does not install anything on your computer, it does not remove the programs on your computer and Reset does not change the settings on your computer.  Your data and programs remain as they were before the reset has been applied.  Reset runs old program of the memory instructions and forces the computer go to disk operating system for new instructions.

Why a power reset does not work:

If the problem is more than a simple tangle, if 'good job' on the computer is not good enough - in other words, you need an update, a new driver, or there is a problem that can not be "unraveled", then reset won't work.

If there is a hardware problem power reset will not work.

  • Connectivity of the Internet with the browser problem

    * Original title: Intermittent IPv4 IPv6 vs connectivity issues

On my home computer, I have intermittent problems with the connection to the internet using Chrome. It shows that I am connected to a network (router), but do not have access to the internet. After a few minutes I can connect again. This problem has happened several times in the hour, I used my computer this morning. I'm not sure if there is a problem with my ISP/equipment, or if it's a problem with my computer.

For a time affected by this problem, I tried to ping Google. The ping was successful, but routed to an IPv6 address. I tried to ping to Google again, this time forcing IPv4 and the request timed out. If I run 'tracert www.google.com-4', it doesn't even to my router.

I use a router/modem provided by the ISP and my wireless router. I had this problem while connecting through my router and connect directly to the modem. I'm under 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise. I don't know what version of Chrome, I'm running, but I don't know that it is outdated, although since I can not ping Google through IPv4, I don't think it's the browser. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello

The probable cause of this problem could be due to internet connection or the licensing of the ISP parameters.

I would like to know have you tried using another browser like internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox?

    Method 1:

I suggest you to check if the problem re occurs even on Internet Explorer.

    Method 2:

Reset the TCP/IP using the NetShell utility, please follow the link below that has the fixit utility runs.
