  sometimes FF 6/7 shows a VERY strange behavior:
  While 'normal' things on Web sites (click on the links, edit text, scrolling, evolution of the tabs boxes) FF starts to ignore my simple clicks. The only way to work is with double-click instead of single-click (i.e. for links, enter a SBO, switch tabs, even to open a menu of Firefox) for all actions.

  I found this behavior buggy on many different sites - simple websites and with complex features, too - in the past few weeks since bf6 + 7 are current versions.

  With my other two questions, I get the idea that the current releases of FF contain more bugs in versions between FF1 to FF3.

  I have disabled all addons and enabled/tested one by one... it was, apparently, the add-on "Multi links 3.0.0.16" was the problem.

  I replaced it with "Snap Links 2.1.1" (installed, but not yet tried a new), and less than a week daily work of 10-12 I never got this bug again.

• Double digital precision control using the D:H:M format has problem increment/decrement

  I have a VI that allows users to define the range of dates in a control, and it does not work as it should.  Specifically, the control is the standard digital control of the modern palette, this is the data type is Double, and it is in the format % <%D:%H:%M> t.  The problem is that when I have the cursor in the hours (two digits highlighted), when I use the keyboard keys arrow up and down or buttons increase/decrease control, instead of the increment or decrement, the minutes.  When I have the cursor over the days, the inc/dec intervenes on the hours.  Has no way to increase/decrease the days in the control either.  In addition, if the cursor the cursor in the line rather than a selection, changing values are the values to the right of the cursor on the line - even the opposite of the features of LabVIEW with other digital formats.

  In addition, the left-right arrow keys won't move the selection / cursor in the control, except to spend hours to days - no other movement is possible.

  took an hour and built a work around for the problem.  No was not as bad as I thought originally that are curious differences between the Terminal command, local variables and value - namely, the Value property is the value after the event, while others have the value of pre-event for the control.  This always works for my application.

  This version is in LV 2010 SP1, which is as far as I can go.

• Don't double-click to open files

  I'm unable to open any folder in Windows Explorer via doubleclicking (I need to right click and click Open).  When I try to double click I get the message "this file has not a program linked with her...." ».

  I ran a registry cleaner last night and I'm afraid that it deleted a registry value which allowed double-clicks open folders.  I tried the system restore, but it did not work.

  Registry cleaners are bad news. They Excel in three things:
  (a) they do fear the light of the day in the life of people by doing a lot of things that "are wrong" with the registry and which need fixing.
  (b) at best, their actions have no beneficial effect on the operation of Windows.
  (c) at worst windows damage or ruin.

  (It seems as if one) and c) applies in your case. I recommend you do this:
  -Uninstall immediately the registry cleaner, then throw it away.
  -Use the process below to restore a backup copy of your registry files. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. Note that it may reset your password to a previous value.
  1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
  2. select Repair from the menu.
  3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.
  4. Select repair when prompted.
  5. Select the command line.
  6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
  DIR C:\Win*
  Dir D:\Win*
  dir E:\Win*
  until you find the Windows folder.
  I'll call this "Q:" drive
  7 type these commands:
  CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
  xcopy *. * Q:\RegBack\
  CD RegBack
  dir
  8. review the dates of the software, system, and SAM files. The files created before or after that is your problem?
  9. If they were made before the problem appeared, you can then type these commands:
  copy software / y...
  /y copy system...
  /y copy Sam...
  (the two points are part of each order)
  10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\Regback to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

• AE never use 'double precision FP64' calculation of Visual effects?

  I'm trying to find out if after effects never really use double precision calculate what whether or not. I know the basis of coding video is really ever use it, but I wonder if the particle effects benefit from double precision or if it's mostly to single precision.

  I am currently using a GTX black Titan, which has a good amount of double precision performance, but I don't know if I ever really use it. I'm looking to the new Titan X, which essentially replaces the power of calculation of double-precision with even more unique precision. I especially to create the content of the game in real time and can always benefit from the upgrade of single precision performance, but I also use After effects a good amount and won't lose boosts performance in it. I can get more benefits on the Titan X because that all rendered I do generally is through converters of cpu and no gpu converters, but I do not know what changes After Effects has achieved since CS6.

  Totally irrelevant. Effects like Particle World are not the same hardware accelerated, so what might even be the point on single-precision and double-precision? And for all purposes useful, it is even irrelevant if that were the case - many pixel operations and position related calculations are quantified / integer for which single precision is sufficient. Double-precision really only countries out for complex vector operations where rounding errors for example can mess with for dynamics or similar collision detection.

• Management double color screen?

  So I have a Setup dual monitor running OS 10.7 on a Mac Pro, and the color in bridge CS5.1 on my second screen management is a mess. Two monitors were calibrated individually with a Pantone Huey Pro (not perfect, but generally quite uniform between screens).

  View an image in bridge on the screen of my first, I have no problem. But the same image, on my second screen, appears highly saturated. When I open the image in Photoshop or preview, the color is accurate and is compatible on both screens. The image below illustrates the problem: the colors shown correctly in Photoshop (foreground) and incorrectly in Bridge (in the background). The Creative Suite color in show bridge settings settings as "synchronized" with the "North American universal 2" default. "

  

  I am out of my depth here when it comes to color management. I have something set wrong? Is this a bug related to the Lion? Any help would be appreciated.

  The way I put it in place is this: I have two synchronized windows, one on each of my two displays. In one, I have a content panel, metadata, collections, etc. In the second window I just a Preview Panel, providing a full screen (or almost) an overview of any miniature that I select in the Panel content in the other window.

  Content (assuming that thumbnails so) overview of Panel on a screen and Preview Panel Preview on the other screen are both generated by an application and the bridge. As I said above, I don't think, in fact I'm almost certain that it is impossible for the bridge to withdraw because of double matrices (mathematical formulas) written in each custom display profile which occupy the same video chip to calculate and control the appearance of the hue/saturation in color managed images. Think of the complexity involved. Now Adobe is known to create miracles of workflow with their programming but I doubt they'ld be able to remove with bridge.

  Photoshop can pull this wide having an image on a screen and drag to the other where it makes adjusting on the fly. I saw the rapid change that occurs it making. But I don't think that bridge can do so due to the caching structure. I hope an Adobe employee chimes in correct me.

  Now it fits in your forcing mentioning a display space sRGB during calibration and profiling of each screen. This isn't what happens to make a hardware calibration. I guess you take your target Luminance (120 cd/m2 + /), Gamma (2.2 gamma-usually native) and color temperature (6500 K). It does not matter if you did anyway, but what is the calibrator material is as RGB colour and density range of each screen and write the data to the final profile which allows applications such as Colorsync to show a 3D model range and color managed like Photoshop applications to show the colors as expected.

  Your screen may be close to sRGB but never accurate to him because sRGB is a synthetic (manufactured) color space. Your screen has physical abnormalities that should be measured and written in the profile to display correctly the planned appearance of color that references the CIELAB color space based on human vision.   Keep the preview pane and the pane content on a screen. Edit your images in Photoshop/ACR/Lightroom on the main display.

  The color settings where you select North American prepress... Web... General use... etc. applies only how images are processed and previewed that do not have an embedded profile. Your jpeg images are integrated with a profile? If yes then this isn't the issue. This applies to the Raw capture because their previews are generated by Adobe Camera Raw default settings.

  I think I have a simple requirement but I don't how it works:
  
  I have some dimensions and a fact table. In my table of facts, I have 2 foreign key on my dimension of time.
  When I import my tables and check the consistency, I get errors: "in double foreign key. Delete"(don't remember complete sentence)
  This is the first point that I do not understand. Why can I have not more than 1 foreign key?
  
  The second point is to know how to have 2 time dimensions. In the MDB, I duplicate my time dimension. But which to choose? I tested with a foreign key and complex join (and foreign keys 2 or 1 in Physics) and I still have the same result (bad).

  Create table aliases (as they play different roles) for the dimension of time in the physical layer and combining your done using physical joints.

  After importing to the physical layer, if duplicate keys exist, delete the duplicate keys.

  In this scenario, two keys will be exist on the fact for the time dimension, remove those and create the joins between aliases.

• Library double (iPhoto + Photos)

  Hi all

  I've been struggling with little space HARD drive for a while now, so a few months ago I decided to finally begin to organize and sort my photos correctly, eliminating the double, bad pictures, etc.

  I released a certain GB (7 or 8) yesterday, so I was very shocked when I received the message "you do not have enough space" this morning. I went to check if the library had reduced in size and I noticed that I have not one, but two libraries: iPhoto Library and photo library. The former has not changed in size (always around 100 GB), but the latter has (it is now 93BG). I suspect the two libraries are the same, except that I was changing the photo library only since I installed El Capitan in March.

  Can I safely delete the iPhoto library or I'll lose the 'event' files I used from there? I can still see the pictures in a separate folder, so I'm not sure that they have been transferred to the new library correctly...

  What do you suggest me?

  I understand that you see two different libraries and fear that it may take more space than necessary. In fact, I came across something similar when I tried to clean my internal drive.

  An excellent article explaining how to operate the two libraries is Photos saves disk space to share images with your iPhoto or Aperture Libraries.
  He explains how the two libraries will only use no extra space.

• Find the percentage of double pairs false in five two sets of columns

  The situation is that I have four sets of two related columns, and these four sets are repeated during 17 sheets. They are all checkboxes (essentially and or or), and I've already configured to do a little when one of them is checked.

  What I want to understand, is if it is possible to indicate the percentage of a pair of two time column to be false. I want to compare, over time (represented by worksheets), how each pair of column.

• A double click of files no longer works.

  As I installed Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac on my MacBook Pro, there are a lot of files that I can not open more using double click. I tried to change the double-click settings in the preferences panel, and by assigning a specific application for opening each type of problematic file using the button 'Open with' in the information panel, nothing happens.

  I also tried to restart the computer, and I fixed the permissions of the main HARD drive. None of this has worked.

  What is curious, it's only by double-clicking on a file actually seems to start the application. The application icon bounces for a while, as if she was trying to open. But after seconds of bouncing icon, the icon 'block' is displayed (do not know the exact name of this icon - it's this formidable multicolor spinning I speak).
