Double list appointments on nursery hot sync

For some reason, my hot sync hangs up on the Agenda because it is listed twice and therefore allows to synchronize the first and stuck on the second and I have to finish with the Task Manager and unplug the Centro to break out of a loop is in.  It comes from start so not sure what is happening.  Worked fine at first. If anyone can help... I have a Centro and am using Windows XP Pro and try to sync it with my Palm Desktop.

Only a configuration option for each pipe in the hot Sync Manager so I can not uncheck.  Finally, I went in the chat room and ended up after a lot of time to do a hard reset and it seems to work at the moment but double pipes still show in the hot box sync so it can reproduce.  Thanks for all your help.  I can just pay for the dbfixit and try that again.

  • Hot Sync hangs at the agenda, agenda appears twice on the list

I'm trying to migrate my Palm desktop to my new 64 bit Windows 7 PC.  The PDA is a Z22.  I've updated desktop to v6.2.2 and synchronization via infrared, as Win 7 64 bit does not support the Z22.

When I try to do my first sync, Hot Sync hangs up on the Agenda (the only application that I checked for synchronization in the hot sync settings).  I ran DbFixIt2, who did find some files corrupted and deleted, but this has no effect on the next synchronization attempt, despite my once you have selected the setting "Pocket replaces Desktop.  I note that Agenda, address book, task list and Notepad appear twice on the list of State during the attempt to synchronize, but only once on the Hot Sync settings-Applications list.  During synchronization, the first quotation of Agenda indicates a successful synchronization (check mark), but it crashes on the second book to Date.  Tried to uninstall and reinstall office, without effect.

    Help!

    Thank you

    Jim

Update... I didn't give it enough time.  Even on my PC new, great power, the initial synchronization (Agenda only) took 10-15 minutes.

  • Hot Sync does not

    When I try to Hot-Sync, that's what I get:

HotSync operation ended up. Some of your data was NOT saved.  Out of storage space during the update of database-MemosDB-Mmtp-abandonment sync.

How can I fix it.  The Palm OS system is BEST done planning, I can't live without it.  Thank you, Michael

One thing you might try (if you have not already done, sorry if it has been discussed in this thread and I missed it), is to make a "uninstall own" Palm Desktop, followed by resettlement.  Then Hotsync.  Take a look at this thread.  It is to change your computer's registry, so be very careful.

I don't think that the amount of data in your calendar is the issue, despite any errors that you have found.  It seems more likely that there is corrupted data.  But it is handheld against his memory capacity?  Check by typing the time in the top left of the main screen of Launcher to open the Menu, and then tap Info which will tell you how much free space is on the device.

Try to hard reset the device, and then restore from NVBackup.  HotSync and see what happens.  Data in NVBackup, as long as you don't accidentally erase good backup, you're always minutes from restoring your data and try something different.

6 appointment of Pimlico Software will allow you to purge calendar events more than any date you choose.  So you can unload on the handheld calendar events that have more than, say, four years and keep everything that is more recent.  6 appointments is (was) probably the best, most versatile and most awarded third-party Palm OS application.  Last time I looked, they were offering it at a discount.  There is probably also a free trial, but I've not really looked at who lately.

  • Hot Sync between 2 Palm Zire m150 - Please HELP

Is it possible to hot sync between 2 Palm PDA without using computer?

    Thanks for your help.

Click the Home button on your palm.

Click on the upper left side of the screen where the time is displayed.

A dropdown list will appear. Click application, beam.

Select the application you wish to convey.

Click on beam and then click Yes.

Make sure that the top of the second device is facing the other palm is able to pick up the news of the first Palm.

You will have to 'accept' the first Palm information by clicking on 'Yes' to the prompt on the second fin once the info is beamed.

When you are finished, click OK to exit from this screen.

Just keep in mind that there are some applications that cannot be beamed as they are locked (and protected against copying) - they have a little "lock" icon right near the application on the list of apps to transmit.

I hope this has been helpful!

  • Hot sync does not include the Splash ID

I've noticed recently that Splah ID is not among the items synchronized when I perform a hot sync.  And indeed, changes on the desktop or handheld are not reflected.  I ID 4.03 Spalsh, it is registered.  I've recently updated the hot Sync Manager because it does not work with Vista. Hot sync is now working with standard applications provided with my Zire71, like the address book, calendar, etc.

I'd appreciate any help getting Splash ID synchronization.

If you have installed SpashID, you will find the Conduit in the Palm Desktop conduits list.

If she's not here, but you still have a desktop application of SplashID you can open and run, there may be a problem of current Vista.  Might want to go and visit www.splashdata.com for their Vista info.

  • Hot sync puzzle

Attempt to hot sync my Z22 & desktop using Windows XP Edition family.  Try to use the Palm to move the calendar office in Florida on the desktop etc in Illinois.  Hot sync operation hangs up on the calendar located on the desktop of replacements of equipment.  Set hot sync to take no action on calendat & then the list address and list synchronized tasks perfectly when it is set to Office Office of substitutions.  Even after this, hot sync still froze when I tried to hot sync of the calendar.

    Help, please.

You may have a few files corrupt in the calendar on your Z22.

Try to use the DBFixit of Pimlicosoftware.com to solve the problem.   The program will search for the problems and difficulty of some of them for free, but some problems may require the purchase of the program to solve.

  • HP Pavilion 14 inch laptop: Palm M500 hot sync with 8.1 Windows 64 bit

I have installed my software Palm Pilot M500 (from the original factory CD) on my HP Pavillion Lap Top. However, the hot sync fails and I get the following message: selected The COM7 Port is not available.  Hot Sync Manager will open port when it becomes available. »

Suggestions, how can it clears and the hot sync enabled?

It is a system of exploitation of 64-bit Microsoft Windows 8.1.

    Thank you

    You will need to:

    1. install Palm Desktop 6.2.2 (search for one of Wyrenut sons, where he links to it, a recent reshuffle of the forums by HP removed the stickied thread that kept the top of this forum where it was easy to see);
    2. Install the Aceeca 64 bit drivers (also doing a search here for synchronization with windows 64-bit); and
    3. install PalmHotsyncSetup of www.pimlicosoftware.com , which should make your M500 more compatible with the latest Palm Desktop.

    Good luck.

  • Tungsten T3 Hot Sync in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and WIndows XP mode

I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and now my Palm T3 will not be synchronized.  I downloaded desktop 4.1.4e 6.3 and 4.1.4. I tried all three in both windows 7 and windows XP mode that tells me is a 32-bit o/s but I'm really not sure.  I tried to hot sync in bluetooth in windows 7, as the T3 and laptop connect but he always tells me that the port is used by another program? Does anyone know what I have to do to get it to sync or am I've sentenced to throw my faithful T3 out? Any ideas?

Hello eaglesfan723 and welcome to the forums of Palm.

The Tungsten T3 HotSync driver is not 64-bit capable, this is why you can't get the T3 to HotSync.  Please read this thread to learn more about your options with Windows 7.

  • Sony clie hot-sync with Palm desktop on Vista (32 bit)

I got my Clie TH-55(Palm OS 5.2.1) for some time now, say 2 years, but recently, I made the switch to Vista (not by choice, I got a new laptop for free). I had been synchronize my CLIÉ Palm Desktop and so when I got my new laptop, I went and download desktop 4.1.4e in the hopes that I could continue the sync on vista. The installation went well, it is, I can do a hot sync but none of my data transfers. If I create a new contact on my handheld, it will not be displayed on the desktop and even vice versa. When I check the hot sync log, it says that there are no errors. I didn't know if I should go to the forums of Palm or Clie forums so I apologize if this is no longer a Clie problem which should be in the forums of clie. Thanks in advance...

I found the problem, it had to do with the running of the Office to palm as an administrator. Once that I thought that was the problem, I put it to always run as administrator.

  • ZIRE 21 hot sync is not compatible with vista 64-bit program

ZIRE 21 hot sync is not compatible with vista 64-bit program - apparently it will work with 32-bit vista.  Is there a way to create a 32-bit only for the Zire 21 program without compromising the rest of my 64 bit OS computer? That's what Microsoft sent me. The help for this program was created in Windows format help, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista.

For more information, see Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows on the Microsoft Web site.

    Laughing out loud

You cannot change part of a 64 bit of Vista in 32-bit OS.

32 bit and 64 bit OSs are completely different operating systems.

    See you soon.

  • Zire hot sync

    Hello

I'm having a hot-sync problem from my computer palm zire with my new computer Inspiron 1546, 64-bit, with a home premium to windows 7.

Running hot Sync Manager I have the icon on the bottom bar of the right tool in the system tray is a USB and it is checked.

When I enter all upwards in the system at the end of a synchronization operation hot tray a failure box appears.

That is the selected port COM1 is not available at this time. HotSync manager will open the port when it becomes available. the premises of the port series is empty and I can't get into something is where COM1 should be.

In the setup of the box I looked into the hot sync LOG this message if poster is. The logfile c:\program (x 86)-palm\johnsw\hotsync journal is not found.

    Hoping you can help me

    With regard to bill johns

Hello billj, welcome to the Palm support community.

Your question is asked here, on a daily basis.  I refer you to the thread of fat at the top of this section entitled "Windows7 and Vista synchronization instructions.

In short, you cannot synchronize via USB to any 64 bit OS.  The company Palm Desktop factory (access to the Japan) seems to have no interest in updating the program to run on this type of operating system.

  • Hard to hot-sync new E2

    Hello

My old T3 died and I had to replace it with an E2.  I have the habit to use a crib with the T3, and which was very good.  I am running windows XP Professional and have tried several times to get the usb connection E2 works.

I tried with the original disc, then downloaded the desktop 6.2 then the 4.1.4e and still no luck.  Whenever I press the hot sync button what happens with the new windows hardware found and when I try to tell him where the drivers are that it does not work.  The hot sync icon is on the menu bar below.  by clicking here and will install - local it tells me that the COM3 port is not available...

I tried multiple usb ports on the front and the back of my computer (Dell dimension) and still no luck.  Also the serial port on the local tab is Com4 and I am unable to change this.

I would greatly appreciate any help

    Thank you

In the HotSync Manager icon, you see "Local USB" as an option?  Check it and uncheck the 'Local' (series connection).

If still no joy, since you have installed multiple versions of Palm Desktop, I suggest to do a clean uninstall and go with my link 4.2 'Manual' below.
