  I will recommend to read console design guide and guide reference tool in the documentation section of the IOM. It will give you an overview of what you are looking for. For now let me explain the terms that you have requested.

  1. reconciliation: reconciliation is a process by which you synchronize your target system and IOM. It can be of two types is acknowledged by reliable source is then target recon source. Recon reliable source when you synchronize the identity of IOM which means create/set day/remove users of IOM to reliable source. Source may be the database, AD, OID of confidence or something. Recon Traget is the process where you synchronize IOM identity access to various resources or target system.
  2 adapter: adapter is the use of java code to connect and change the details in the target system.
  Form of process 3. Auto - Pre-pop-In if you want to fill a few field automatically and then you click auto-pre-pop. To do this, you will need to create an adapter of pop before type and write your logic to fill in the specific field in the form of process.
  4. Data - Sink.If, you have the form of resources and process forms and you want to the data flow from the shape of the object to process the form then you should use the data receiver where you the one-to-one mapping. Care resource is one that is used for the request and presented to the applicant to complete the information.

• Attribute of IOM password for a connector of GTC

  I am trying to install a simple GTC CSV to import the users. I miss the IOM Password attribute when mapping reconciliation staged at the IOM. How can I add the password attribute to the section of the IOM? I clicked on the icon next to the user in the top class and nothing happens. I'm running the last IOM 11.1.2.0.

  You must create a Custom Event Handler to message insert as you can't bring the attribute of password as part of the reconciliation of Trusted CWG.

• IOM to the web service connector

  All those put in place this connector with a webservice? What is the required coding effort?

  I do not know this connector IOM works very well with AD, etc. of the OID and have used it with great success. But never used the connector with the webservices. Please, share your experiences and let me know any extra info.

• IOM: Reconciliation with the Tables of database applications connector

  I am using the Application Connector 9.1.0.5.0 database Tables in OIM 11 g to reconcile the accounts of my target system: MySQL 5.1.37. I followed the steps described in the guide of the connector to create and set up and configure my system target as a reliable source.
  
  The problem is that user accounts are not created in IOM, however, I know the Connector retrieves the information of every user because I can see it in the log messages generated when I run the reconciliation work, so I supossed the problem may be in the "configuration of the connector to modify page", or some time after that.
  
  In addition, I don't know if it's important, but I don't see "User of Type" field "IOM user account data set" to "change the Connector Configuration Page.
  
  A I forgot to do something in the configuration or there's something I've had to do but the steps described in the guide?

  Reconciliation process in Sun IDM (newest oracle) is easier to implement than IOM (worst solution identity)

  I would like to ask if there is a way in IOM that when I reconcile all new users to my UNIX server, IOM will also create the resource that this user is provisioned on?
  
  Here is my scenario:
  
  1.) 11 GR 2 freshly installed IOM.
  2.) connector installed UNIX on OIM 11 GR 2.
  TRUSTED configured UNIX resource 3)
  4.) reconciled all users of UNIX in IOM. (New users are created from my IOM is a not any user)
  (5.) the problem is when new users are now created in IOM, they do not have rights or accounts related to the UNIX server which they were fired on.
  
  I would like to ask if I need to configure something to have possible linking rights/accounts?
  
  If not, what are the ways I can do this?
  
  The only way I can think of is have UNIX users created in a flat file first then load via BMS were then having IOM to these users a link to UNIX which I think should be able to do the screenplay, I ask for reconciliation.

  You must first run the trust reconciliation against source target that will create the user to IOM. Once you reconciled all users of IOM, you can run all the recon target against source configured target which will create account to IOM and it will connect the user to the respective IOM

  If you have more than one target system. install all connectors and configure (ex: AD, OID... etc)

• How encryption works in the web services connector?

  Hi, I wanted to ask if someone could explain or point me to somewhere where its explained how encryption in Web Service connector (connector guide did not help) because I feel like there is a black box in the way that works part of the connector.

  This is what is happening to me.

  When I request an account the IOM sends to the SOA, a SOAP message with this field:

  Somehow the DB records the real password not the hash, but if the size of the password in the DB field is smaller than the size of the hash I get a SQL error even if the

  password real has the right length. And change the size of the field in the DB is not always an option.

  I get the error that do not match the password and passwordConfirm.

  Hello Leo,

  If you have correctly configured oimcp/WS_CONNECTOR_OUTBOUND policy, there should not be any errors and it works without problem.  Unhappiness about using policy - is that the errors you will see when it does not work are not really useful to discover the cause of the problem.  In fact, the most useful tool I found the resolution of the problems with politics is WireShark.

  I used the strategy in multi-instance test scenarios and also support for several customers who try to use the policy.  From my experience, I guess that decryption is being ignored due to an error in your code. If WireShark gives you not with sufficient detail to indicate where the error is, I would say a SR in support to solve the problem more openness.

  How do you deployed the listener? You must deploy the listener through the ant script as mentioned in the guide of the connector. As a result, it ensure that the jazn.xml file that is updated with all grant them permissions to connect to the IOM of peoplesoft.

  I need to create providers custom (transport and format) in order to be able to reconcile or the provision of a resource.
  My resource uses java API-s to connect, so I need to create custom providers so that I can create a generic connector for this type of resource. I have found no good guidance (with examples) to achieve this.
  
  Could you help please give me a few steps should I follow to get there?
  
  I don't know how to begin to create this custom providers, or the way in which they are applied after on IOM to find during a generic connector creation.
  
  Any help on it, or refer to any document (except the developer's guide that I've seen, but don't sound very unclear for me :() would be well appreciated.

  My understanding is that generic connectors of the IOM technology is not widely used to build new connectors.
  If you intend to build new connectors and you use OIM 11 g, my suggestion is to use the structure of connectors new 'identity '.

  Password AD to IOM movement: need of the IOM AD password sync connector. Available on OTN.

• updateRemoveAttributeValues is not called (is it called when a right is revoked)?

  I assume the onMessage BPEL for updateRemoveAttributeValues is called when a right is revoked (resource is supported by a Web service connector).

  It works well when I call updateAddAttributeValues (when I ask a payment).

  No error message anywhere. It seems that the Web service method is not called (if I could at least see a mistake on weblogic EM)
