downgrade win 7 Ultimate to win 7 Home Premium original

I have improved my Aspire 5740 G-5323 to win7 Ultimate, apparently with a hack, and the added system so do not think that anything had happened until I rebooted the system.  It started with Win7 Ultimate.  Two weeks later I started to receive messages on an illegal version of Win7 Ultimate.  I had already purchased a key of MS for Win7 Pro.  I want to downgrade to Win7 Pro, but it seems very messy.  Does anyone have a solution?

See you soon,.

Gerry

Problem solved.  Back up your system, disable or remove all anti-virus software, disconnect the wi - fi, run the upgrade of windows software, enter your product key. At this point, the upgrade appears to plant - there is not, reboot your system from the Start button and you should be good to go.  It took a few hours to understand.  If you have any questions send an email.

see you soon

  • Satellite A660 - update: Win 7 Home Premium to Ultimate

I just bought A660 preloaded with Windows Home Premium 64-bit.
I would switch to Ultimate 64 bits because I need additional features.
I would like to know how to upgrade to Ultimate with a pack of detail without deleting all Toshiba drivers and characteristics.

    Any suggestion will be welcome!

    Hello

You can buy a Microsoft Upgrade.
But to be honest, that I recommend to buy a full version of Win 7 Ultimate and do a clean install.

The advantage is that you could install this without early installation of Win 7 Home premium.
For example; If you purchase an upgrade you will need to first install Home Premium and you need to improve this OS to ultimate. This can be annoying if anything goes wrong with OS and you need to install it again
If you buy a ultimate full version, then you can install this OS immediately and directly without having to install Home Premium first.

PS: the drivers are the same for Home Premium and Ultimate.

  • If you purchase Win 7 Home Premium can later upgrade to a different edition ultimate

  • Vista Business - > Win 7 Home Premium upgrade does not work with my Win 7 Home Premium Upgrade disc

I bought a Windows 7 upgrade for $99 at Dell when I bought a new computer Win 7 and am finally getting around to upgrading my Vista Business.  The reason for road upgrading rather than clean install was to avoid reinstalling all applications, a major, major time sink, even if I find all the drives in application.  Is the upgrade to Win 7 Home Premium.

After starting the upgrade, he stopped, telling me that I can only switch to Win 7 Pro, Ultimate or enterprise. For the upgrade to proceed, told me that he needed a clean installation and that I would then have to re - install all the applications.  I looked on the Microsoft site, trying to find how to set my Windows 7 Pro upgrade disc, but I have been unable to find how this could be done after through many convolutions of web pages.

Could someone tell me please how to put my Win 7 Home Premium Upgrade disk to a Windows 7 Pro upgrade disc?

Thank you very kindly for any response.

I guess it depends on what side of the coin of your on. If someone bought the Windows 7 Pro upgrade, whereas they would have only a single lane of evolution, which is the more common scenario.

  • Inspiron 3521 - Win 7 Home Premium not detect Ethernet/NW Devices - need drivers

Hi, hope someone can help you.

I recently bought Win 7 Home Premium, 64-bit, for "downgrade" my laptop Inspiron 3521 for Windows 8.0.

Windows 7 is not looking for drivers for the following items:

I read the Wiki on getting the hardware ID, but... when I do properties > details on any of them, there is no hardware shown ID.

My theory is that this is b/c they are all on the motherboard? But that's a wild guess on my part.

No idea how I can be sure of what material I've got, given that the hardware ID are not?

Associates: I jumped my service tag in Support of Dell thingie to see if that gives joy and found that * could * be the drivers I need, BUT: what the beep is that sort of thing auto-install?  I'm not ON my Dell laptop when I come here, because it doesn't connect to the Internet or any network at all, so if all these auto-telechargements, it's going to auto download on the WRONG COMPUTER stuff!  (My apologies for yelling: I'm shouting metaphorically to Dell technical support, not to you all!) )

So, is it possible to get the drivers, I need without * grill * the not quite expensive Dell desktop I'm on?  I tried to download directly on a USB key, but Dell does not want you to, either.

If someone could walk me through this, I would be VERY grateful.

    Thank you very much!

    Liz

    Hi GoonrGrrl,

Please download the Ethernet drivers from the link below.

In addition, please punch in the serial number system or code of express service from the first link below. Then click on the tab of the system configuration and then click components and find the card wireless system and then download the driver for the card from the second link wireless that is located under the network section.

  • How can I replace the corrupted Win 7 Home Premium on my G71 with Win 7 Pro?

The Win 7 Home Premium OS came with my Pavilion G71-340US laptop is damaged and must be reinstalled. Rather than reinstall Win 7 Home Premium, I want to install Win 7 Professional - I bought. I have Win 7 Home Premium recovery disks, when I came to the computer. The professional Win 7 I like an installation disk (.) ISO file).

What is the best way to do it? I can just do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro? If so, how to install the drivers for the laptop? I searched the knowledge base information, but could not find anything on a Win 7 reinstall / update. Thank you.

All of your drivers must be posted on your support page of models which can be found by clicking on the link titled 'Support' at the top of this page. You will need to "full" (not only G71) model number or product number as indicated on the attached at the bottom of the laptop Service tag, can be under the battery. You can also get the info by pressing the FN and ESC together.

To install Windows 7 Pro read the article here. Page 9-15 including explain removal of partitions for a new installation of Windows on:

  • IE8 crashes after KB980182 installed on Win 7 Home Premium

After problems with IE8 crashing and crashing Outlook Office 2007 Pro Client and Windows Explorer crash and restart perpetually, I reinstalled Win 7 Home Premium OS (custom, no upgrade, make clean) and manually installed all updates. one by one, checking for any loss of functionality after each update.

All did, except, as expected, KB980182, cumulative security update for IE8.  Now, IE8 crashes at the opening.  None of the stuff with clean boot (msconfig) or uninstall and reinstall IE8 work.  Does anyone know of one solution other than to simply remove KB980182?

I had the same problem initially and my event viewer did indicate errors of pagination against my hard drive, which was a Kipper.

First check Windows Update for optional updates.  In my case, there were 2 driver update available (one for the ethernet controller) and one for the card graph.  After installing these and install all the other critical updates, I seem to be working good now.

    Hello

What follows is certainly not what you wanted to hear, but it is frank and honest.

There is no support for Windows 7 on your laptop. If you were able to get to the top and running, so you were lucky.

The only provided HP drivers and applications that are available for your laptop are for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.

You can try to install the Coolsense driver in compatibility mode, but there is absolutely no guarantee that it will work.

Just as it says on the download page of Coolsense, "this feature is available on mobile phones supported running a supported operating system." Unfortunately, your laptop is not grave in either categeory.

If you installed the Windows operating system without using the HP recovery media, then you will need to download and install all the drivers missing/software separately.

  • Can I transfer a computer dead for a portable Win 7 Home premium OEM Windows XP?

I can only remote access / VPN my workplace of servers (Cisco), using XP & I can't download XP mode with Win 7 home premium. The XP box is dead since March, & it's the only way I can think to restore my ability to work from home.

How is it, you can only use Windows XP to access the VPN?  Cisco came out with Windows 7 and 64-bit software customers just now because so many people had the complaint of the old clients did not work.

Anyway - OEM licenses are tied to the first machine that they were installed on.  Regardless if this machine was used in a shooting Skeet or succumbs to a natural death, according to the agreement, if the original machine dies (cannot be retrieved), then the license also dies.

I watch (or find work to examine) get the latest version of the Cisco (5.0.07.0290) client, if that is the question.  Or you can locate an unused OEM or an unused license Windows XP retail and use VirtualBox to make a virtual machine on Windows 7.

  • Installation installation of Win Vista Home premium error Windows errors can not reset the deployment engine. to install windows, restart the installation.

Original title: Error Installing Win Vista Home premium.

I have a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium.  Suddenly, it wouldn't start.  I changed the boot CD ROM and put my Vista disc in and tried to do a "repair" that it came with missing engine or something like this.  After several attempts, I gave up and formatted hard drive losing all my data and programs (rather difficult to backup files when the computer does not start).  So, I tried a complete installation.  I put in the license code and he started the installation.  After a few minutes, the message came;  "Windows Setup could not reset the deployment engine.  to install windows, restart the installation.  I tried several times including completely turn off the computer for several minutes and try again.  I tried several times.  I thought oh well, I will install my Windows 7 program (this and never used).  Error on this installation was: your CPU is only good for 32 bit and Win 7 I have is a 64-bit version.  I'D RATHER INSTALL VISTA BUT need help on the error regarding the deployment engine.  Thank you, Lloyd

  • Lenovo G555 OKR Win 7 Home Premium

Ugh! I came here and saw there were 200 + pages of topics. I'm sorry if mine is already validated and has an answer, but I ask myself in a hospital bed need to use OKR and cannot understand it. I won't go through all the pages to see if my are answered so bear with me. I have no documentation with me (it's at home for obvious reasons). Recently, I have this computer and have not yet created backups "file of users. The only backup here is everything back to how it was if I had just bought it and was first put on brand new.

IF I ABSOLUTELY have TO, I could lose my bookmarks in firefox (or I could just the zip file and send them an email to me - I use Live Mail so I'm not worried about the deletion and lose my emails). But I wouldn't lose my documents, videos and what-not. My other software, I installed from the factory-fresh install when I bought the computer is not much and I can actually just go to some sites and reinstall things, No biggy.

What I prefer is to back up all my personal files, so I don't have to re-download anything and have it take 1 million years to reinstall everything. In 'My Computer', I saw the C: partition, the partition D: (Lenovo) who had the OKR related files and I guess that the secret files to reinstall the original image. I have Windows, the value do not hide what whatsoever from me. I also see a MS Office Starter 10 q score: who is protected, but didn't seem to do anything when you double-click it except give me an error message that I am not authorized to access. Then there's the DVD Burner F: and below, there is a "Norton Backup" type icon that looks like a hard drive, but when you double click on that, it shows just 3 icons more: 1) backups of the system by default C: partition, 2) the partition D: Lenovo backups and backups DVD Burner F:... By double clicking on anyone of them showed that the it is that anything backed up towards them.

If I close and press the OKR which looks like a symbol of u-Turn of orange color, it brings me to the OKR options screen but since I have no backups created by the user, the only option that it will really allow me to choose is exit and let Windows load just as it does now and continue to use the computer , or reset the computer to the original image and lose everything...

How the hell do a user-created backup image? I went to C:\Program Files\Lenovo\OneKey App\OneKey Recovery\Language\Enu\ and there was an overview of the OKR program, but nothing to really say how to create an image backup created by the user, the .htm files. Just that you are going to kick you if you create a return to the top of your data first and run the OKR to restore the original image. Not very useful. It would be nice if in fact, he crossed and detailed how the hell do!

I want to thank you all for your attempts to help me. I went to uninstall the existing installation of OKR and re - download the installation file, so I can install a new copy from the links provided in this thread. Unfortunately, I was with a WiFi very slow at the hospital I was staying in and after about 20-30 of 273 MB downloaded, it seems the download has completed. I finally got so fed up with it, I used a downloader that supports recovery and even in this case is the same trouble. Finally on download seventeenth attempt, I got it completely downloaded. Once again, since I'm on a slow connection, it took about 2-3 days with all these upheavals, but I got it. Then when I installed it, it's the same thing. GRR! Then, so I decided to save all my important files on a DVD and I just shut down the computer and supported the OKR button and allowed him to recover the original factory installed image. Now, Win 7 Home Premium desktop screen when you press the OKR, it gives you the options to create images of backup or restore backups I have created or install again the original factory image. It's a pain in the neck, but I got it working properly, finally. Yet once, I want to thank you all for trying to help, and you can now consider this topic resolved.
