  My office is (finally) passage of CF8 to CF10, so, naturally, I wanted my development environment to match the server environment.  I tried to find a copy of the edition of Dev CF10 all morning, but it is simply do not find.  CF9? Sure.  11 is everywhere, but no CF10.

  What is the problem?  Someone on this thread mentioned a problem of security with 10.  Is this true?  If so, I want to warn my people who install 10 as we speak.

  Please forgive me if I write in the wrong section.

  I'm having a problem trying to download FMS developer edition.

  Basically, when I try to download, I get a window where I update my address data, that I therefore correcly. After that, I see the following screen:

  

  After that, I keep, and then I'm sent back to the previous screen with the message "a general error has occurred please try again".

  Can anyone help?

  It will take you further to http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=coldfusion and you will need to sign in with your Adobe Id and password.

  This may be a browser related issue, because it works on my end.

• CF 9 at 9.01 Developer Edition

  I'm looking for help, ideas or just a confirmation that it can or cannot be done.

  I would prefer good help. ;-)

  I am running Win 7 with Apache 2.2 and CF 9 Developer edition box.

  I just d/led the CF 9.01 update to get the cleanest S3 functionality.

  I have install the .jar file in the folder updates (per the instructions and all other changes), I restart my apache server and CF Server (several times at this point) and the version still reads 9,0,0,251028 not 9,0,1, x.

  Ideas, any help is appreciated.

  Looks like you are trying to install an update rollup instead of update 1. You're on Windows, so I think that you should download and run the EXE

  We have a developer set-up that is configured exactly as we want. We now just bought a license for Coldfusion Standard, but I can't seem to find how we can 'upgrade' our developer edition to the Standard version?

  Do we need to uninstall and reinstall? If so, how can we safely save all our settings (data sources, mail config, locations, journal...) and import them in the newly installed Coldfusion?

  We prefer to simply 'upgrade' our edition developer to keep all our settings, such as which would simplify things.

  I think about buying a netbook, and I wonder if the CF Developer edition would go to this topic.  I watched the CF9 requirements and including it requests for Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon processors.  So it doesn't look like it will work on something like Intel Atom.   Does anyone have experience running CF on a netbook?  Thank you!

  We have a facility of Cold Fusion 7.02 on CentOS 5.
  
  When we applied the Standard license key, the CF admin page shows it running the Standard edition, but the logs show that it has been restored to the Developer edition. It's the log entry:
  
  Warning invalid license; return to the Developer Version
  
  We have recycled this installation of Windows of ColdFusion license key. We have uninstalled CF of this machine.
  
  Any ideas on what could be the problem?

  I installed the Cold Fusion MX 7 trial edition, then I bought the software and updated to the administrator by entering the serial number. It went well and the Standard Edition version works now.
  But CFCharts always display the 'Developer Edition' - Logo. Why?
  I don't want to start installing Coldfusion all over again.
