  Try this:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Download the Vista software from the link above.

  After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

  Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

• All browsers made bad, images and downloads corrupted since 28 February - Rollback is a failure

  As of yesterday (28 Feb) I knew an incorrect rendering of web pages, corrupted images (partial transfers, gray/color bars) and an unusual number of errors of connection of all Web sites.
  On IE, I get errors that the downloaded content is not signed and/or dangerous.
  On Chrome, .exe files downloaded telecharges are coming as corrupt (trying to download Firefox to see if problems arise there too)
  • I did a full scan with Microsoft Security Essentials, which come clean
  • I built a Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 using a different computer - he came clean too
  • I tried to do a roll-back to several different restore points - they all failed. I also tried in safe mode.
  • I disabled all modules in IE and looked for the proxy settings - it wasn't all. I also uninstalled all Chrome complements.
  • I'm not under the toolbars in any browser.
  • I click on anything else from an unknown source. (Commercialization of technology here - I know better)
  I connect to a home wireless network WPA secured and tried 2 adapters verified (beaches, 2 and 5 Ghz)
  Help! I really don't want to have to reinstall Windows. Any ideas?

• Adobe Illustrator won't update or install, download corrupted

  Had the Illustrator update problems. Kept getting errors so I finally got on the chat with Adobe support. First person could not solve the problem but removed my old version of Illustrator just trying to fix it. Now, I have not at all a program and similar problems with trying to get the new version installed.

  Got with the help of Adobe twice more. Both times they assured me that my direct download would work, eventually. Though even he stopped previously to about 50%. Wanted to go at this time, but I've done the last tech stay will be me. Two technicians got assured that even when I wasn't using my cloud creative app and downloading, it always work as she did once I finished my direct download of Illustrator. (I'm doubtful on that, and how to download direct would be magically "fix" issues I'm having with the installation through the CC app).

I also went to my laptop that has access to my internet via wifi and downloaded Illustrator very well on that. My computer, which is hard plugged into my modem and internet connection should not have a problem loading the application of CC.

  It is a problem of software with adobe products, but I can't find how to fix it. I installed the soft CC and it did not work. A direct download times out and I don't think he's going to fix me app CC anyway if I want a better, more permanent solution to my questions, which seem to be specific to Illustrator downloads/updates and specific to my desktop.

  I joined creative cloud and downloaded AAM. When I try and install a program, it runs 50 to 60% of the download before an error message informs you that the "download is corrupted, wait a few minutes and try again. I tried half a dozen times with each program. Whenever I connected the coast of AAM and shut-down/restarted. All to nothing does not. I'm working on a Mac Book Pro running 10.6.8 2.66 Intel core i7 and 8 GB of RAM. Would be grateful for any avice so I can go...

• CC of Photoshop 2015 'update failed' - download corrupt - code output 7

  I'm running on the Mac with the latest OS X 10. Creative cloud tries to update Photoshop but since Friday has done it again with the message «failed to update - more» and leads me in the update log.  The paper ends with a series of errors which I do not have any idea about.

  When I run bridge, Illustrator, and Photoshop at the same time one of the three fail to respond and cannot be closed.  The other two will also fail to respond, but I can't close the Mac because of this.  I have to 'crash', the Mac and rebooting.  The programs will run anywhere at least a minute to maybe 20 minutes before it stops working.

  I was prompted to install the update of Flash Player and wsn can't pay attention, just by clicking on "next". Now, I have all kinds of new things like "whitesmoke" in my firefox browser and all kinds of ads followed playing and other fragmentary software wanting to enroll in all sorts of things

  To uninstall a possibly unwanted extension, please proceed as follows:

  In the Firefox Firefox window click on the top left and select Add-ons or, if the Firefox button is not displayed, click the Tools menu, and then click Add-ons.

  Once the add-on Manager has opened in a new tab, click the Extensions button on the left side of the window.

  You should now see a list of your extensions installed on the right side and buttons on the right side of each extension.

  To remove an extension from Firefox, simply click on the button Delete. You should see a message that informs you about the deletion of the add-on.

  Note that some modules require a restart of Firefox to make it disappear completely. To make a restart of Firefox after the removal of the add-on, click on restart now in the message.
