Download DirectX

When playing a game, & I leave temporarily, stoppage and a box indicating that I need to download DirectX, I entered in google and tried to download Direct X but did not succeed.

Hi GladysMarie,

Given that your Post does not give many details on the system architecture and the game you are playing, I would suggest something.

Assuming that it is windows Vista, try uninstalling and reinstalling the video card and let it reinstall which should help you to solve the problem.

Note: You must create a system restore point and also it would be good that you have the disk that came with your computer. Pack the driver doesn't move you can use the disc at hand.

Right-click on computer - manage - Manager of devices.
Expand your graphics card - right click and choose uninstall.
Restart the computer, and the driver should install automatically.

You can also check the dxdiag for any kind of problems.

Thank you and best regards, | The Saint | Destruction of the morning is the creation of midi.

Step 2: If you are able to start the computer in Mode safe mode, and then try performing system restore.

  • Blue screen after downloading DirectX

    original title: Possible graphics problem

The story is: I came across the site to download DirectX programs. Once the download is complete, I guess that the downloaded file itself stuck on the original file, but I suddenly got the blue screen and my computer off. I'm not a stranger to it, but when I'm ready to understand the problem, my computer would not start. Of course, I see the screen saying that windows did not close properly and to recommend that I have run the Startup Repair tool. However, when I press on enter, the screen appears again. I chose "Start Windows normally" and the computer did a disk check. It restarted again, but on my computer, when loading Windows there is a small bar that crosses the screen several times. It is usually on about 15 to 20 seconds, but he remained for more than a minute, this time, then the cut screen (which is normal), and then it restarted abruptly again. I remembered that there is a way to do a system restore without having to connect, so I tried it, and the computer restarted again. I tried to run safe mode, but that no longer works. It just seems like anything where the mouse can run does not load. I don't know if it's a kind of graph question because I am trying to download DirectX, but it seems that he. Moreover, in the start menu, I chose "LAN start" and he said that it was a test of media or something, but then he says that the test failed and to check the cable. There was a code, but I forgot. Something with a P. I don't know what cable it means or if this could be a factor. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

Everything you did corrupt the existing installation. Using the option boot LAN would do nothing for you, that is used to install windows from a network, not repairs.

Your best bet would be loaded from the recovery console or safe mode with system restore command prompt. If this fails, you might have to reinstall Windows to repair the file system damage. You will need a Vista installation disc to access the Recovery Console, from here, you can run rstrui.exe to start the system restore.

  • How can I download DirectX 10.1

I can't play battlefield 3 and I got it for Christmas please help me here my email * address email is removed from the privacy *

Well, technically, they are all different. There are individual files for each DirectX version,
Win7 has three versions of DirectX 9, 10 and 11

What follows is a list of the .dll Direct X with Win 7 when files are updated.
We find them in - Windows / System 32 folder (and SysWOW64 if you have 64-bit).
    They are in alphabetical order and will start with d3dx9 - 24 43 >. Then d3dx10 - 33 43 > & finally d3dx11 - 42 43 >.
-The main components (or some of them?) that come with Win7 Direct X are -.
    d3d1 - d3d8thk - d3d9 - d3d10 - d3d_1 - d3d_1core - d3dcore - d3d10level9 - d3d10warp - d3d11 - ddraw - ddrawex - Xinput9_1_0 and XInput1 - 1 > 3.

There are more files DX, but these are most of the graphs related to Direct X .dll

When you post a question, you must include your specifications and any other
you think that details may be relevant, such as what is, or is not the case, what difficulties you have
tried it, and if you have updated your graphics and DirectX drivers.
If you have an installation Win7 new or recent, you must run the DirectX Web Installer.

  • Why can't I run the games my computer is saying that I have to download directx 8.1 or higher and I downloaded 9 and my video card is also updated wat I do?

Why slope games i run on my computer windows 7?

What is the name of the game, and what are your system specs, specifically the
The model number of graphics card.

Direct X 8.1 is an older version of Direct X and is not a part of Direct X 9, 10 or 11. They are
all separate versions and they all have several files in them.
Win 7 has DX9, 10 and 11, but not DX7 or 8. Well, it may come with a single file DX 8, I'm not sure if
a game installed or not, but I have a d3d8thk.dll file.

What method did you use to update Direct X?

There are the Web Installer. This will install a couple of new files of DX10 and 11 as well as a few
Files of DX9, that a new installation of Windows 7 is missing. This does not overwrite files.

Setup Redistrubitable DX is the game full of DX - 9,10 & 11 (less the two or three most recent
files made from 2010). This installer will overwrite old DX files.
Note that when you use this installer, it will unzip the files, but must go to the location you
Unzip them to locate and run the DXSetup.exe to install the files in the relevant Windows folders.

  • How to ONLY install directx 3 is the use of video games. Without having to install the latest version of directx?

I have an old video game of cdrom for windows 95, 98, and a message asking me to click here and there to download directx 3A. I'm going to microsoft for this and only the latest version is available and this download does not work. Msg continues to be the same, even after a few tries.

Windows 7 already comes with the latest version of DirectX installed. Have you tried to install the game in compatibility mode?

Right click on the executable file / Installer-> properties and select the Compatibility tab. Click the check box before you run this program in compatibility mode for option, and then select Windows 95/98 from the drop-down list. then try to install the game using run as administrator.

If this does not work, I suggest buy you an old copy of Windows 95 or 98 license off ebay, download for free SUN Virtual Box and install Windows 95 and 98, and run your game in there.

DirectX 11 is built into Windows.  Cannot be much simpler than that.  Your graphics card only supports DirectX 10.  No nVidia graphics card currently supports DX11, only high-end ATI Radeon.
