Download MSN Messenger blackBerry Smartphones questions

Hello

I'm new to Blackberry and tried to download Windows Messenger.

When you try to download, I end up getting this message.

Users of Microsoft® Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2): If you encounter an error, look at the top of this page for a yellow bar that reads "this site might require the following ActiveX control: 'AxLoader.cab' of 'Research In Motion'." Click here to install... "Click the yellow bar and choose"install ActiveX control... ". "to allow the installation to proceed.

Where can I download the necessary software, because I looked everywhere! Laughing out loud

I hope someone can help!

Thank you very much

Lee

    • He asks to restart the BB,

    (2) a Batt Pull reboot (power on, remove the battery, wait, insert the battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.

    3) install a new copy of AppWorld (on your BB)

    (4) restart another Batt-sweater

    (5) see if it works now.

My blackberry froze, so I took out the battery and put it in the back after turning on my bbm does not work. I reinstalled the Messenger, software, it still does not work. On my own network, so good so there must be a problem with the phone

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you!

  • Msn for blackBerry Smartphones application

I was wondering if you get charged for messages sent/recived on msn if I decide to the EGTT app?

No, you will not be charged.  The MSN messenger uses your BlackBerry data plan, so as long as you have a data plan on your device, it will simply use these data.  The only reason why you will be charged is if you do not have a monthly data plan or if you happen to go over your allocated data (usually not a problem for most BlackBerry users).

  • An other 'Wifi without data plan"blackBerry smartphones Question - Rogers Canada

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and blackberries in general... Please bear with me.

I am a student. Currently, I have a voice plan base on a LG Xenon with Rogers in the Canada. It includes minutes and unlimited texting. Enough for me.

I am looking to buy a Blackberry Curve 3 G/9300 off someone. I just want to throw my SIM in there so I can use my normal plan with the phone. My understanding is that I can phone Rogers and tell them to block all data, if I get no charge on my Bill. Fine. However, I also understand that the 9300 is a wi - fi phone.

Let's say that I get the 9300, contact Rogers and tell them to block all data on my plan.
Can I still use my browser in a Wi - Fi hotspot? How should I do? (I know that I read somewhere that you need to configure to be about to access and not talkspot... If someone could help me with this that would be great).

Also, I read that, so that I am still able to use a wi - fi connection, I need to have data 'on' in the phone. If the data is 'on' in the phone, but I've blocked data with Rogers, can I still use a wi - fi connection? This would prevent the costs of data on my Bill?

In addition, I understand that I will not be able to receive multimedia messages without a data plan. Once again, if I'm in a wi - fi hotspot... Can I receive these messages from photos?

I'm sure it's a question very well known and well hated to you all and I'm really sorry to ask, but I just need some clarification. I don't want to be stuck with a big Bill with I ever intend on paying data charges. If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you very much!

In addition, I understand that I will not be able to receive multimedia messages without a data plan. Once again, if I'm in a wi - fi hotspot... Can I receive these messages from photos? No only simple navigation cannot be made and Pandora can be used in mode Wi - Fi.

  • Uninstall Blackberry Messenger blackBerry Smartphones

How to uninstall blackberry messenger?  It won't uninstall the usual ways and a bunch of methods I google does not work either.

How have you tried to uninstall?

The only way to do it is to go into your Options icon, then device > application management.  Access BlackBerry Messenger, select it, and then press delete.

Your device will require a restart, but which should probably uninstall it.
