Hi MK.

The file's name is correct. I installed Oracle 12 c on 64-bit Linux.

According to my knowledge, is the reason for the name of amd.

AMD was the first to release 64-bit x 86 (x 86-64) processors.

The AMD64 architecture has been positioned by AMD from the beginning in a scalable way to add 64-bit computing capabilities to the x 86 existing architecture, unlike the approach of Intel to create a whole new 64-bit with IA-64 architecture. The first AMD64-based, the Opteron processor was released in April 2003. Indeed, in the core 64-bit support "x86_64" is called to make reference to the fact that the AMD and Intel (and others) are implementing these instructions.

Kind regards

Veera

I think that you have 64-bit system. Please confirm with your supplier. If you're on 64 bit you can use 11 GR 2 but if you're on 32-bit, you can use only 10 gr 2

You can download it from https://edelivery.oracle.com/linux or if you don't mind a mirror check https://wikis.oracle.com/display/oraclelinux/Downloading+Oracle+Linux. I recommend that you download OracleLinux-R5-U8-Server-x86_64-dvd.iso.

And download the two files, you are probably trying to unzip only by downloading win32_11gR2_database_1of2.zip. You must also download win32_11gR2_database_2of2.zip under the same directory, and then try to unzip with winrar or winzip.

If you want to work with obtaining FRD newspapers and their learning. You can simply connect to an existing EBS enviornment and the work, if it isn't the only option you have is to install EBS and learn the concept of DR.

As stated above, I'm trying to download 10gR 3 Tuxedo for Linux but can't find the latest supported versions. Any idea where I can get a copy?

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

I think that for older versions of Tuxedo, you must contact Oracle via My Oracle Support (MOS) and request the kit.  You will need to let them know what word you want, e.g. size, 32-bit or 64-bit.

  • Download Oracle database

    Hi all

I want to practice all the features of the oracle what oracle database should I download it from the link below

Oracle database software downloads | Oracle Technology Network | Oracle

    (12.1.0.2.0) - Enterprise Edition

    or

(12.1.0.1.0) - standard Edition, Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition One

I want features like the materialized view, partition table, database private virtual (DPV), etc.

    as for example

    DBMS_RLS
is available only to Enterprise Edition only.

The DBMS_RLS package contains the grain end acadministrative interface to control cess, which is used to implement virtual private database (VPD). DBMS_RLS is only available with the Enterprise Edition.

Please tell me that I should download

Still one thing to link, I could see that, only for 64-bit Windows, this download is aviable.

my laptop at home is 32 should I changed to Windows 64 to use the Oracle database.

    Thank you

If you are interesting in the score, CAE, etc. you have Enterprise edition. To use 12 c, as writes sol.beach, you must upgrade your laptop for the 64 bit OS. You can download company 11.2 32-bit edition to practice on your computer laptop.

  • Database Oracle from Windows to Linux migration

    Hey guys,.

I'm database oracle 11g R2 in Windows 7 migration to Red hat 5 (64-bit) Linux using RMAN by transport.sql file. I installed Oracle 11 g R2 on the two system.

But the problem is that my data files are scattered in different locations (I mean that all are not in the same directory) and I did not have enough space to all copy in the same directory. Can someone tell me how I'm supposed to write several locations as value the NAME of FILE DB CONVERT parameter when creating transport using RMAN script, I know the command for a directory only.

RMAN > Convert the new database database linuxdb

    script of transport for "C:\test\transport.sql."

    db_file_name_convert 'C:\oracle\oradata\orcl\' "C:\test".

    the platform "Linux IA < 32 bit >";

This command allows to convert all the files in the database that resides in the orcl directory and place them in the test directory. But in my case, all the files are not in the directory orcl

and I can't copy other files in there because I don't have enough space on the entire system.

I can't create transport script several times because it is incorrect.

I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

You can specify as many pairs of directories as needed

    db_file_name_convert = ('/ u01/ora/files ' ' / u02/ora/files ' ' / u01/ora/file9 ' ' / u02/ora/file9 ')
