Download Smartphone blackBerry desktop applications

I use an 8100 BP but do not use an internet service package. How can I download apps from App World on my pc and then transfer them to my phone using Desktop Manager?

You can not, you need the data Plan BIS to use AppWorld.

Some specific applications could sell their soft, like Mobihand.com, so look there too, which includes the installation of office files most of the time.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Desktop Software: "a newer version of this application is already installed on this computer."

Hi, I am having a very frustrating problem and I can't seem to find any information or help.

Running Windows 7 x 64, I had to update my blackberry a few weeks ago desktop software. Unfortunately, the update crashed during the update. I tried the update again, but Setup now stops at the message:

However, there is no trace of any application of Desktop software on my computer. I tried to manually remove all RIM/Blackberry folders as well as the removal of all keys to register RIM/Blackberry. I tried to use Revo unistaller, several of the registry cleaners, all with no success.

Now, I have to use Blackberry Destkop Manager 5. XX since I can't install anything higher than that. It gets really frustrating (that and the fact I had to Exchange my Bold 9900 for the 7th time in less than 6 months - and the one I use now has a * beep * ty button which doesn't always work) and extremely boring.

    If you can help, thanks.

Whatever Sdgardne, layout of computers is not a solution. It is:

Download and install jv16 Powertools of http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/index.html. Launch the software, on the Uninstall tab, find the entry of Blackberry 7.0 now visible. Select this entry, and then uninstall it. In addition, check the other tabs to erase any trace of remaining registry Rim or Blackberry. Download and reinstall Blackberry Desktop Manager 7.0.

    Thanks for nothing.

You would think that with a mobile phone $600, a customer service would go with it.

  • Crash of Smartphones BlackBerry Desktop 6 blackBerry loading Applications

I know I caused this problem, but it is still a problem. My BlackBerry Desktop Software crashses every time I click on Applications. I reads the applications in the device and then begins to load the available applications. This is when it crashes with the standard dialog Windows crash.

I develop some app for BlackBerry. A vendor sent me two ALX files: one with just the library (but compiled as a MIDlet) and one for their demo application. The ALX file with demo application includes the 'library' as a nested application. I added two ALX files in Desktop Manager. It is the root of this problem.

I think that if I can just clear the list of files that BlackBerry Desktop is trying to load, it will solve this problem. So I'm looking my hard drive to something useful (to try to avoid to reinstall BlackBerry Desktop). Here's the relevant section of my Desktop.log (I replaced the name of the application to demo with "VendorDemo" and the name of the library with "VendorLib" application to protect the innocent):

Anyone happen to know where the list of the application is stored, and I know I can change it manually?

And the RIM, no chance that you can include a fix for this in the next update? The application should gracefully handle a duplicate element and allow the user an option to fix.

    Hi Devgirl...

This is a problem, we are working on... and hope to have some form of resolution in the next version.

for now, you should be able to remove the key "reg" to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Research In Motion\Blackberry\Loader\Packages" to work around the problem.

  • Smartphones blackBerry DESKTOP MANAGER AND APPLE LION DOES NOT - COME ON BB: the SORTING

There is a clear problem with BB desktop manager and the LION from Apple.

In my case, the sorfware installation fails (even if you can find then on the applications). Then it is unable to download updates or fails to synchronize. It is a common and widespread problem.

BLACKBERRY KNOW THIS PROBLEM FOR SOME TIME AND DO NOT REACH THEIR CUSTOMERS.

They can feel it stop somehow customers migrate to the iPhone. This isn't the issue. More and more business customers (like me) are turning to Apple computers. If they (at least for the moment) that BlackBerrys are not suitable to great problems have, then the move will be also with our desktop phones. Hello!

    Clean uninstall instructions are here:

You will probably have to start the computer in Mode safe to get to all this.

You can download and install any version you want here:

If you are synchornizing via USB (not), you should probably take a version compatible with your selected PIM:

    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

In addition, a good trick with Vista is to use run as administrator for this regarding tricks of BB - installs, executions, etc... sometimes, it's all a difference.

I just installed Desktop Manager on a computer running XP. It loads well, but when I try to set up the synchronization that it crosses all the way says congratulations you have configured the product, and then you click Finish and it is said that another system has not been selected. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't work. Any help?

Hi and welcome to the Forums! I can't tell if you tried this comprehensive procedure yet, so I'll give it to you to try...

I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, Vista, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

    (1) remove the package to update your device OS of your PC (Add/Remove Programs)

    (2) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

    • KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software

    (3) get a new RIM DTM software download:

    • Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

    (4) to download a new copy of your package to your carrier OS device (on your PC):

    (5) install DTM on your PC

Installation of 6) (also on your PC), device OS package

    (7) start the configuration Organizer:

I am trying to download Blackberry Desktop Software for Mac.  When I click on download it asks whether to save the file.  When I click on Yes, the download box appears and indicates the place of download.  At the end of the download, nothing happens.  The download box sits right on my screen and no other guests occur.  There is no sign of any Blackberry file in the Applications folder on my MacBook pro.  Site Web de Blackberry for downloads screen does not change.

My feeling is that I somehow need to 'install' the uploaded file, but am at a loss to know how to do this.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Assuming you are using Safari, the default location for downloaded files is the folder downloads. You should find the installer downloaded it. If this is not the case, check where you download the file and look in this folder. The file you're looking for should be named "BlackBerry Desktop Software.dmg". Double-click it to mount the disk and then image to launch the installer.

You must run the Setup program to install the Desktop on Mac software, it is not just an app that you slip into your Applications folder.

  • Download Smartphones blackBerry on computer, then transfer it to the phone?

How to download apps on my computer, and then transfer to the phone via Blackberry Desktop manager?  I had to get rid of my data on my phone plan, but I still want to use functional applications on my Blackberry.  There should be a way to do it, or what I need to change to an iPhone?  I thought it was what provided for the BB Desktop Manager?

I don't think that moving to the iPhone will get apps loaded on your BlackBerry.

Some developers to provide the files *.cod/*.alx for office facilities. Some do not.

If the apps that you want to download the above files on your computer, use the Desktop Manager > AppLoader and move forward.

  • Doestnt Smartphones blackBerry Desktop Manager recognize the new operating system

I downloaded the new OS device for 8520 in my PC, but the Director of office don't informs me of the new OS.does this 7.1 version recognizes the new device OS after being downloaded on PC? Help me guys

BlackBerry Desktop Software will recognize an OS that is released by your carrier.  If you downloaded from another carrier and has not removed the 'seller .xml' file, he will see that it is not your provider and it will not show depending on availability. If you have downloaded it from another carrier, look in these forums for instructions on how to load an operating system on your phone and you will be shown how to properly remove this file, which is located in several locations.

    I hope that helps you.
