Download windows appears in the Firefox browser with barcode scanner input.

When in a text field, I have entry with barcode scanner, a download window appears in the Firefox browser. Although a law of bars as a keyboard input device, it does not present the download window. I blocked the download option in the firefox browser (Tools-> Options-> general-> download Unchecked options) nothing happens, even I disable java script. To download windows appears in the Firefox browser with barcode scanner input.

IE (any version) is not displayed it. What can I do? Can someone help me. I'm developing an ERP system, which is dependent on browser and I love Firefox!

Have you started Mozilla After unchecking the window downloads to show when downloading a file?
Could you provide your photo under the general tab of the Tools-> OptionsMozilla?

Thank you
Borian

    Hello

Please check if this happens in Safe Mode.

    Extensions of the issues

    Troubleshooting Extensions and themes

    Uninstalling the modules

    Uninstalling toolbars

Safe mode disables the installed Extensionsand themes (appearance) in (Alt + T) Tools > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > general > use hardware acceleration when available. Options > Advanced. All these parameters/additional custom modules can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed to normal mode of Firefox to check if an extension, theme or hardware acceleration is causing issues.

  • The download window appears when the file download but not display download status or maintain the list of downloads as in the past - how to restore this option?

Formerly the download window showed the State of the download in process and retained a list of files downloaded until I deleted from the list. Now an empty download window appears automatically when I download a file. The window does not reflect the status of the download, download name, etc.. But there is no display of downloaded files. How to restore the function of the download window? I checked the option to display the download window when downloading.

type in the address bar Subject: config

Press the button, I'll be careful, I promise you

    then type in browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone bar

then double-click it to true (you probably have it wrong)

    exit firefox and restart it.

  • Ghost images appear on the Firefox browser, but remain after the window closed. What a way to stop this?

When I open a firefox session, it creates two images of ghost square on the screen. The images are sections of the previous view. They appear when I scroll to the top of the page. The images stay on screen after you close the window. I tried the graphics drivers and I change the resolution in the top and bottom to make them disappear. This works until I open firefox again. IE does not have these problems.

You may need to disable the use of Firefox to your graphics card, because there have been a few glitches since the release of this feature.

Orange button or Firefox menu Tools > Options > advanced

On the "General tab" mini, uncheck the "use hardware acceleration when available.

    What is fix?

  • How can I fix a display problem that appears only on the FireFox browser with my Web site?

The issue resulted in the attached screenshot is located at http://www.onhold123.com/on_hold_voices.htm. You will see that the dividing line runs in the background.

You create this page by hand? You can use level block such as p or div tags to contain your litters. It will simplify some style issues.

Anyway, the separate line is winding upward under the text because the text is not big enough to force the line down below the floating image. You can disable this type of packaging by adding using the clear property.

I'm having a problem with the FireFox browser. I have attached two files that describe the problem. I have marked their A & B. • Is it possible to see/work with cookies outside of the Firefox browser?

Hello! I'm looking for more help to understand more than info on the cookies.sqlite file. I use to add/remove cookies in bulk the exceptions list when I used the cookies.txt file, however now that I am unable to use a block of text to quickly paste the names of cookies, I think trying to modify my exception list became quite tedious. I was wondering if I would be able to use another method of work and to view a list of cookies outside of the Firefox browser? Thank you in advance for your help!

You would need a program of SQLite Manager to open the cookies.sqlite file and check its status.

However exceptions are stored is no longer in the basis of cookies.sqlite, but in a single file database permissions.sqlite.

You can give him a first test with the SQLite Manager extension if you do not yet have one yourself.

  • reset the firefox browser but when restarted goes to the browser link uk

Everytime I open firefox (or windows Explorer) my browser is exceeded by http://yourtv.link/ I did a full scan on Mcafee and run Windows Defender I uninstalled firefox, and whenever I change the Firefox browser, it returns to http://yourtv.link/ to restart my computer can you suggest a way around this?

Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one. Windows 8 already has integrated antivirus.

  • Since the new update of firefox, I lost my pop up blocker and impossible to reinstall, my home page to open when I click on the n of the firefox browser cannot set

Since the new update of firefox, I can't put my home page, it opens to a blank screen, I also lost my pop up blocker and I can't reinstall restore my computer to an earlier point and still can not set my homepage and restore my pop-up blocker. I tried all the suggestions and I still have this problem. Can you help me or do I uninstall mozilla firefox.

    Then:
Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu

      Click the close button

      ).

    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use an uninstaller to third parties as part of this process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device! See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.

  • Empty windows appear in the recently closed Windows list

Recently, I upgraded to Firefox 13.0.1. (It seems that he could have two updates on the same day or after the other very short, but I'm not sure of him. I will be reminding upgrades of multiple instances of Firefox, all this same version. Thus, it * could * be true that this problem has arisen with this version or a recent previous version.)

Since the upgrade, empty windows appear in the list of recently closed Windows (RCWL). I try to keep the clean list, so when I'm done with a window holding sites I know I don't want to go back, I close all the tabs in the window, leaving an unused new tab *, and then close the window. These windows should not be included in the RCWL, but they are now.

[* I put new tabs to about: blank so that they will load the pages automatically.]

Since this standard behavior change comes with an upgrade, and since I can't find any reference to it elsewhere, including the Support of Mozilla, I suspect that it may be a new bug.

In troubleshooting, I tried deleting the list recently closed in these windows and tabs. I've never had before, but it seemed worth trying and as something that might have been relevant. I thought that perhaps a window would not "Save as really empty ' if it had recently closed tabs in the list. This tactic did not work.

I also tried to start Firefox in Mode safe, the reopening of all the RCWL, each one tab - a 'new tab' in all cases - closing then close each window. They always appear in the RCWL.

Please let me know if I can (or need to) provide additional information. Thanks for any help!

Try to set the browser.newtab.url pref to about: blank so currently, you do not use this parameter.
