  This pref has been supported only for some versions of Firefox, and has no effect in current versions, so you can reset the pref to remove it in about: config on the next departure.

  I just downloaded Windows 10.  My Contacts and calendars from my iPhone and iPad will be synchronized with Outlook (2013).  I made settings were right to iCloud, but when I click on iCloud contacts or calendar, I get an error message that says: "cannot open all the files.  The information store cannot be opened.   No idea what it means.

• Why several download windows pop up when I download a PDF file or other file?

  Whenever I try to download a file (PDF, JPG, DOC), which was attached to an email (I use Outlook WebMail) the document will download very well HOWEVER eight (8!) or more to download windows pop up as if I tried to download that file eight times (or more).

  So I 'X' by each window after downloading a file. This is the same file on each pop-up window.

  Since it is a new problem, I tried to turn off the computer and put back in operation but failed.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  Try the equivalent of Waterfox of Firefox 20 or 25 of Firefox and change the pref browser.download.useToolkitUI to true.

• Downloads window blank and nothing download - only for PDF files?

  FF 25, Mac Mountain Lion.

  Last week, stopped download PDF files and the downloads window is empty. Tried Safe Mode and clear memory cache, as well as Disable selectively module DownloadHelper. Nothing has worked. Acrobat plugin is not used, I've always had PDF files in Acrobat itself opening.

• How can I get rid of the sidebar in the downloads window?

  Right now, I use Fedora 19 with Xfce 4.10 and 23 of Firefox on my laptop. When I download a file and look at the download window, it has a sidebar that I have no use for.   Firefox handles downloads in the downloads folder in the library (history > show history)
