  This happens because your antivirus starts to scan the file when you try to run it. You can check by

  1 disable antivirus real-time protection (note to Moderator: not recommended!) and try to run the file again
  or
  2. open Task Manager > go to processes (or details if it is WIndows 8) > run file > monitor processes belongs to antivirus to see if they consume the CPU power
  If this is the case, it is made by antivirus normal safety measure to keep you protected.

• NRW files more open in 10 items...

  Hi, people:

  For a long time I've been improving and print NRW files shot with my trusty little compact Nikon CoolPix P7100.

  • I never had no problem to open on my iMac running now OS X El Capitan 10.11.1.  In fact they open automatically in 10 items when I double-click on it from my desktop photo folder.

  • Now, I have more option when I right click on them and select OPEN. If I do this since version JPG photo, 10 items will appear as an option. But if I right click the NRW version, I don't see that 10 listed items even.

  If I then select OPEN WITH, and then 10 elements, the program starts without the photo appearing...

  • If I first open 10 items and then try to open the file of the picture there, I sometimes get a message on the plug-ins incompatible because otherwise I do not even have that message and Nothing don't goes...

  Thanks for your help, but I think that there is so many problems with compatibility Nikon/Adobe/Mac OS X El Capitan and 10 elements, the combination was unstable and unpredictable. Measures as manually change the default application worked once but would not work on another, for example...

  Long story short, I gave and updated to 14 elements for $79,99 $ US. It handles perfectly the Nikon raw files.

  I have Dreamweaver CC 2015 since last year, on a system win 7 with plenty of space and good care.
  Never had any problems until last week, when Dreamweaver stop opening o creation of html or php files. Instead, the program displays an alert of "invalid argument has been found", then stops to do anything.

  I've looked everywhere. I cleaned the resgistry, reset preferences custom, tested different files, with or without content, old and new, even uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe CC. Nothing works.

  I install Quora, because I have work to do, but I prefer clearly have CC Dreamweaver working again.

  Need help please, I don't really know what to do.

  Although that is NOT a real solution (now I have to keep a local copy redundant and unprotected and move almost a gigabyte of data, whenever I need to edit a project) work space solves the problem. I still don't know what has changed since before, but I can work again.

  IMO Adobe should at least give notice of this behavior, letting us know that the application does not work because it is restricted to local activities. "This file cannot be saved through a network" or "this program can change the local files" would have sufficed for avoid me a good 5 hours of lost production.

  Is it possible that you saw before miniature previews, and that's what you see now? As a general rule, you must double-click a file to open it in the appropriate application, but the thumbnail preview feature should be removed since Acrobat DC for technical reasons.

  I tried "folder options" and change the folder options with no luck.  Then set the folder to Preset Options with no luck.  It happened all of a sudden.  My photos, my Docs, my computer, some Office files - I right click and arrow down to open I want to open the file instead of just double click or use the arrow keys to highlight and press ENTER to open.  Whenever the search will open in a new window.

• Photoshop smart object layer does not open in ACR when I double click

  I have a file open in photoshop raw, it reproduces, is smart, when objects I click on the smart object on the file icon, I get another copy of the file in photoshop, the file does not open up in acr, is there a setting I'm missing?

  This is because the smart object is a raster layer image not a raw file.  If you want a smart object RAW you must do the ACR. Instead of clicking the image open in Photoshop button. Hold down the SHIFT key the key will change to open the object in Photoshop.

  IE9 is the cause. IE9 is not compatible with Windows Mail.
