Downloaded secuity KB2619340 updates are not installed.

Downloaded secuity KB2619340 updates are not installed. I ran Fixit, says all is OK, still won't install. I followed the instructions for the error message, found 0 x 80090017. Will still not installed. Help is appreciated.

Hi, Aziz. I tried everything above, did not fix the problem (or maybe it was the case). I still have the updates icon in my taskbar when restarting. However, when you are prompted to install all or select updates individually, this time I checked manually. When the update has been highlighted in the list, a message window describing the details of the issue and also listed a URL for details. I followed this link, the description was another link to download. I downloaded the update manually and ran the apllication. Media Center both Excel 2010 security updates, I was given the opportunity to download the application for the updated, ran and installed OK. Update Power Point 2007 persisted. After restarting for the first two, I clicked again in the Update icon. To update Power Point jumps. On purpose I installed it, so it has shown failure retried. I retried and installed OK.

Everything is good. I hope this helps someone else with a similar problem. It worked for me.

Maybe after all the other options you suggest "paved the way" for my last efforts succeed.

Thanks for your help.

See you soon!

    From: Kayhan

My computer tells me that it will update now and it restarts my computer. After it starts, he said he said updates are not configured properly and it is changes.  It restarts again and made whole again.

Can I do to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    From: TaurArian

    1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programs and then click Windows Update.

    2. in the left pane, click view update history.

    3. find an update for Windows that has failed to install, and then double-click the update to view more information.

Updates that have failed to install will display failed under status, next to the name of update.

    4. in the Windows Update dialog box, next to the details of the error, review the error code for the update has failed.

    5. click on the links in the dialog box Windows Update under more information or help and Support to try to solve the problem, then try to reinstall updates by using Windows Update in Control Panel or by mail with the error code and maybe someone may be able to help others.

  • downloaded iTune latest updates but not install

I have a desktop iMac, running OS X El Capitan version 10.11.5.  My problem is with the Mac App Store.  There are two updates for iTunes.  The iTunes 12.4 update has been downloaded at least 5 X and update 12.4.1 at least 6 X.  Although each download is listed in the category "Installed updates in the last" 30 days, none have installed.  My Info 'on iTunes' lists me still have iTunes 12.3.3.17.  Wasn't sure, but I restarted my computer after each download anyway. no change.

  • Windows 7 security updates are not installed

I have Windows 7 Professional.  I continue to receive notifications about security updates. I have received several.  Sometimes I have 5 or 6 at a time.  They download OK, but when they attempt to install, they if at 45% and then stops and then you restore the update.  I was not able to install the last several updates I received.  What is going on?

You can reset the Windows Update components by running the Fixit on this page. But if there is malware present, she will continue to reset the connection to the update servers:

How to reset the Windows Update components

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

Suggest you download and save the Fixit. Then configure the system before the clean boot by running:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista/Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.

I suggest before you stop and install the updates, disconnect from the Internet, first.

Current solution to this error without having to reinstall/repair Office code.

Download the updates to a place you can find on your hard drive and then manually install the updates.

For a more permanent solution, you may need to reinstall/repair Office (which would mean you would need to have your product key and the original installation media).
