Downloaded the new FF4.0. Restarted. Now have disabled that yahoo toolbar. went on site Ff and tried to install Yahoo toolbar suggested but said FF I have always FF2.0.0.2. Help, please. I need my yahoo TB back!

Update to FF4.0 and manually restart again.
Open the window and toolbar Yahoo was for the most part disappeared, except for the white search box and the search button. Both are currently disabled. All the other buttons who were with my Yahoo TB disappeared.
Went to FF site using google search.
Yahoo toolbar who worked with search FF4. Followed the steps but FF continues to say: "you are currently using Firefox 2.0.0.20. This has happened in two places. It is not recognizing that I upgraded to FF4. How can I fix it? Thank you very much!

If a site indicates that you have a previous version after installing Firefox, you need to modify a hidden preference. This preference may have been added by an extension and will be cause of your problem.

  1. Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
  3. Locate the general.useragent.overridepreference, right-click on it and choose reset
  4. Restart Firefox and it should correctly identify that you have Firefox 4
