  If you have had any problems before, repair permissions, restart your computer and try again.  If this does not work, then buy a card reader.  You will get best results when they are still working.

I have read all the help and they said to plug my camera with the plugs that accompanies it & I as soon as, I do this & try the farm off camera or simply does not work... I am so disgusted with this camera by Kodak and now it is useless that, now I can't even download my photos... nothing seems to help? Thank you

  Millie, you can use paint dot net (see my previous answer) to clarify/change
  images. You will need to take the card out of the camera as you did before.

  You do not give a lot of information... What kind of camera? Have you tried to download with Capture of Image?

When I transfer the photos to my computer they yield to the size that was taken with the camera and I normally make the smaller size (1024) to use them (post them on websites or in emails).   You can resize the pictures in the camera, but one at a time. There are some software available to the group change the sizes of the file on your computer once they are downloaded. Windows Live Photo Gallery is one and its free from the microsoft web site. You can even make a montage of photos as well regarding the color saturation, brightness, color temperature, sharpness, shadow and even straighten a crooked image. The really cool part is that you can keep the original files for later use.

  were you on the website of Olympus and the down loaded the latest drivers for your camera.

  also, go to the MS Update site and run custom it can give you an update.

  However, you can connect the tablet to the laptop (I guess it helps a micro USB interface) and could move the files to the new tablet.

  • What is the extension of file for these photos? If you do not know, download a photo of test to find out.
  • Do a search for the file extension. Enter it in *.jpg or whatever the extension is.
  • As a last resort, you can search for photos with this tool.
