Downloads window appears

For these last days, my Firefox does not display the downloads window. I tried to follow the suggestion contained in Firefox Help, that is to say the tools-> Options-> general

But my general tab doesn't show under downloads the option to tick the box "show the downloads window when you download a file. Downloads, only shows the option "Save files to downloads" and «Always ask me where to save files»

Any suggestions on how I can get to-> download the option to tick the box "show the downloads window when you download a file.

  • Discover pop downloads window appearing instead of opening programs

    I can't open some programs on the computer desktop and the start menu.  Instead opens the view downloads and independently engaged button the program/s will not be open.  This only happens on my user account, I am an administrator.  The 2 other user represents the function normally.  Also icons appear on the desktop shortcuts being rather replace it with the IE icon.

    Cannot find settings that have changed this would bring.  Any ideas?
