• Need information about the new version of Illustrator

  I am currently using my version of Illustrator CS3, but I was wondering if Illustrator grew to take in addition to the features that we used to have in Freehand. Here are the features that I miss more Freehand:

  1.) able to appoint work and change in the world through research and replace the function of art (change the outline width, fill color etc..)

  2.) here is the big one, I need: ability to select several works of art and modify each one in place. In other words, if you select three items and choose "turn every" they each turn by specified amounts, each in their place and not as a set.

  If the new version of Illustrator has had on these projects or even simply the need 2 above, spring for the new CS5 package.

  (1) n ° but you can save the selections and reload. Create selections using Select > same. Or save an illustration as a symbol, and then change the symbol. (All possible in CS3)

  (2) you can already do this in CS3 (object > transform > transform each or effect > Distort & Transform > transform each)

  So, really, you can do everything you mentioned. CS5 did not specifically any achievements in these areas.

• Change the language on the new laptop from Italian to English

  My old neighbor bought a new laptop (ASUS KF3U series; windows 7) and when it starts for the first time managed to change the language to Italian. I need to change this back into English for him.

  I went to control panel > clock, time, region > location & UK tab selected. on the format tab it doesn't seem to be an option for English uk just Canadian iglese, Australian etc. I turned off the pc and reboot but nothing has changed.

  I used my own laptop to go through menus to see what to do as, of course, on the other laptop, everything is in Italian.

  Help would be appreciated. David

  This is my third attempt failed to install new drivers for the Laserjet Pro M127fn MFP printer on my laptop Acer windows 10 OEM. I used the HP installer with no customiztion of components (the default recommended) with USB cable connection.   I also tried to use interface devices and printers after restart the computer by selecting Add Printer option, it seemed to have installed the printer but it couldn't print the test page. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Printer navigate through the Setup menu using the left and right arrows and locate the Service menu.

  Search for HP Smart Install option in the Service menu (it may appear and may not be no depanding on the version of your printer), if it is there, select Disable for HP Scmart Install.

  In your PC click on the right button on the start menu and select Control Panel, then select View devices and printers.

  Do not forget to remove any icon (the M127 or any other driver HP) HP printer by clicking the icon and selecting Remove the device, and then restart the computer.

  Go back to the devices and printers any queue remains left by clicking once, then select press the print server properties in the top menu bar.

  Select any listed HP printer driver and select Remove, make sure to select the 2nd option to delete the printer and its driver package.

  From the control panel home, type "change device Installation settings and open the option, then select No and confirm with OK."

  Now, try to reinstall the most recent drivers and check for the difference.

  After that I went through operating manuals and software CD, I discovered it's no Windows XP OEM CD. For your info, it has already pre-loaded Windows XP during the last time, I bought my laptop.

  Is this a common practice that OEM Windows XP CD is not given to all new owner of IBM / Lenovo laptop?

  So, no idea on this issue.

  His is common practice in most brands of laptop computers for several years now.

  In the case of a ThinkPad, a system image that can be used to create a set of installation CD is included on every ThinkPad hard drive when it is shipped from the factory.

• Product key Windows 8 should be not BIOS-based on new laptops from Dell?

  My brother-in-law had a HD failure in his Win8 Inspiron 14z laptop. It had not generated the recovery DVDs.

  I replaced with a new HD sound and used the Dell recovery DVDs on my daughter, I created 14z to restore with the Windows 8 factory image (no preserved user data).

  His laptop started successfully to the State "new", and is now installing windows 136 updates.

  I fear, however, because although on 'System', he does say that Windows is activated, the product ID is identical to my daughter 14z, and on the details 'activation', the last 5 characters of the product key shown are also the same.

  Is this good? I wasn't expecting the recovery DVD Dell would be the product key; I assumed that Windows would he get from the BIOS.

  Is there a way to "turn off" Windows and use the key to the BIOS?

• Information about the laptop ports (USB, HDMI, etc.)?

  I am currently looking a 17z-e100 portable Pavilion to customize and order. However, I can't find any information about the laptop ports. I need a HDMI output and 3 USB connectors and transfer large files on my key USB regularly, at least a USB 3.0 is necessary (with 2 USB 2.0 connectors).

  I was looking at the specs on another Web site, and they claimed that it includes 1 HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 connectors and 1 USB 2.0 connector, but it's a slightly different model so I would like to get my information from the manufacturer.

  So my question is, what are the ports are included? HDMI, USB, Audio, etc.

  Also, the "Contact/Email HP" option on the site seems broken, because some required fields have no space to fill. I tried on two different browsers.

  I just bought a new laptop Sony VAIO with Windows 7. No complaints whatsoever, it is a wonderful machine, but a problem has arisen in recent days. After a few days of use, a BSOD appeared randomly. Two days later, same story. It seems to be no direct cause of the problem, it happens completely randomly and without no warning sign whatsoever.
