  In addition, you might also want to rethink your design. Construction of a navigation bar with absolute divs is a bad design and won't have problems. Such as... try placing the cursor on the menu products... link will open then without dragging the mouse in the menu to continue to move the mouse to the left or right (home or news & links) links, you'll see that your context menu will not close and will remain open. To close it, you will need to place the cursor in the pop-up window and soar on the back. Just not very friendly. There are so many other options for navigation and you should really look into your options. Good luck.

  The site loads very well in another browser, but doesn't load at all in Internet Explorer. I'm on a Mac and do not use IE but when I load the site in a browser test I get this error: "JavaScript Expection: error calling the function switch: error: invalid argument".

  Noting all the site load.  We just went live with this site today and many people try to use IE, so I'm in a panic to find a solution.  I searched and seem similar problems but have not found a solution that works for me. Any help would be appreciated.

  IE is notoriously badly to deal with malformed hyperlinks. Other browsers ignore silently. IE shake its cookies and often after the hyperlink problem has been treated properly. I suspect therefore that there is an incorrect hyperlink on your page.

  In the 'Useful links' section, the hyperlink on 'FAQ' seems to be malformed. Try to remove that link and add a valid link, then re-publish/re-upload the site to test on IE. Which may, or may not, be the cause. But it's the first thing to try.

  In Studio 8 (PC) I am incorporating a file audio .wma on a page using Insert > media > Plugin. Once the AMM PlugIn on the page, I put the settings for Autostart/True, Volume/1 000 and ShowControls/True.
  
  In FireFox 1.5.0.9 the audio file begins to play immediately. If I change the volume to 10,000 or change of the ShowControls to False, there is no change in the way the page appears.
  
  In IE6 the audio doesn't work at all.

  Works in IE6 for me, but I don't really see the point. Audio playback will automatically excited visitors to listen to the music. If the message is important, the visitors with their audio turned off or down he will miss. It does not really add value IMO.

  Quit flash player works in internet explore 10, a few weeks ago.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times without success.  I also use Chrome, which works very well.  I am running Windows 7 64 bit and have Version 15.0.0.223 installed Shockwave Flash object.  I tried to download the latest version of Flash about 20 minutes ago and still not get anything to work on IE.

  I uninstalled and downloaded the most recent Flash Player in Internet Explorer (Vista) tons of time, but sites like Hulu and YouTube do not recognize that I have the latest version and it will not play. They just keep inviting me to download the latest version.

  I've got a growing menu script that does not come to the top with errors when I check the browser compatibility but does not work in Internet Explorer, but does not work in Firefox. I saw the script I created it in IE (SoThink DHTML menu) program and it works fine, but don't then when inserted in Dreamweaver.

  After much research, we wrote this JavaScript, which seems to work in IE and Firefox (and hope it works in Safari, although we have not tested)

  Hey people.  I have a site where he looks a lot like IE 8, Mozilla, Chrome, and Safari, but not in IE 7.

  
  The site is for an annual conference and I know that dozens of people who are going to be displayed to the site using IE 7 with no intention to upgrade.  Even my company uses IE 7 and that's how I learned this morning that the site works in it.  And then panic the value in... lol.

  I am actually trying to find a workaround for the real site right now... so this link below is actually on the partially completed test site, I've been working on until I finished it and it flies.

  I DON'T know how to code HTML... so I think with a possible workaround.  I don't want to have Javascript code tries to recognize the browser and sending people to IE7 to a slightly different site... but if it's the only way, then it will have to do.

  You have two image empty frames on the master page covering the elements of two image albums. It is very likely one (or two) of these frameworks have also been covering the major part of your horizontal menu of your previous version (which was blocking the mouse clicks in IE7).

  You can find either select all (Ctrl + A) on the master page or clicking and dragging to the top about halfway down the page. Removing these empty picture frames solves the problem.

  Nested double quotes break javascript. Use single quotes around P1_WORKER_ID you have around ACTIVE.

  I use the theme 11, and I have a dynamic action on page 0 which corrects width of the region, because it's too long to match the width of the page. I put the scope of the 'live' event because the region is a report and there as many lines and paging is necessary. When I have to go to page 1-15 16-30 and if there is a folder that is longer than the current 15, page is partially updated and the width is changed, but that works for Mozilla and Chrome. In IE the dynamic action of page 0 is not triggered, despite the magnitude of the event live and I don't know why. Is there a way I can fix this?

  Thanks for the information, it is actually an interesting case. I guess you "Enable partial Page Refresh" in the report attributes the value 'yes '. Please let me know if this isn't the case.

  I don't think that a "Load of Page" event, with a range of 'live' is correct. The event 'live' is a way of saying, fix some behaviors to something on a page (for example, a deletion in a row to report icon is clicked) and keep this behavior 'living', even if this part of the page is updated (for example the report pages with PPR for the next game or the results, and clicking on the delete icon in the report still works). However, here, when the event is the loading of the page, I don't think by specifying 'live' will do what you want.

  Which, in my opinion, you are really interested, this is indeed when the page loads first, but then when the report is refreshed through PPR. Therefore, I would like to try the following:
  (1) set up the dynamic action event "After Refresh".
  (2) select the region report of the ' when > selection ' attributes (guaranteeing your report model contains an id = "REGION_STATIC_ID" attribute, otherwise her DA will not work).
  (3) in your 'Actions', make sure that the 'Fire when loading the Page' checkbox is checked.

  So that said doing the action when the page loads, then always after the report is updated through PPR. It fires after the paging, sorting, or a refresh of the dynamic action.

  It is interesting (at least in my mind!), you can actually define the scope of the event back to 'link' here. That's because registering in DA, deliberately we attach the event handlers to the management report on an element that is not updated during the PPR for the paging or sorting, it is further up in the DOM tree. This gives slightly better performance than to have to use 'live', which is more expensive in calculation and yet still maintains the recorded behaviour.

  Also something else that can help, you can check if the DA is SHOT when scheduled using a JavaScript console (for example in Chrome developer native tools, Firebug with Firefox), associated with the active debugging application (the Application properties) and implemented (via the toolbar) developer. Load the JS console, and you will be able to see when the DA fires.

  As far as the actual IE specific logic goes, not looked into that too because I felt it was more important to get the DA shooting properly first, followed by see where we are.

  We transferred our module in our LMS customers. I can view the modules through the LMS in the machine, I built the module in but none if other desktop computers is able to display the module. It will show a gray to the loading screen. The module works fine in Mozilla Firefox. Any suggestions?

  Have you checked your own settings of IE9 against those of other users who are unable to view the content?

  Look at things like ActiveX filtering, compatibility view settings blockers popups, security, version of Flash player, etc, etc..
