  PDF has the same problem that .doc - the user must have the associated app plugin and installed browser. The best solution is to simply create a web page and use friendly web fonts. If this is something that does not need to be indexed, an image is another possible solution. It really depends on the type of content and its intended use.

  The site, I've been working on (www.ngospen.com) has PNGs for prior art - 10-15 kb per image. As the site is intended for low-bandwidth settings, I would like that these images background to be as small as possible.

  When registering for the web, one of the options is file save as HTML. When I opened the file, the work appears same as PNG (no lost resolution), but it is a much smaller file size (1-2 KB).

  Is it possible to insert these HTML files in my HTML pages?

  It is a much smaller file size (1-2 KB)

  It is small, because it contains more images!  They are external to the file you saved and are called in the page by the browser, because it makes the code.  in other words, there is no free lunch.  The rendered page itself will have effective equal weight to the weight of the HTML, the weight of all the images referenced in the page, and the weight of all other dependent files (CSS, js, etc).  There is no free lunch.

  Hello, my Firefox has had problems for the last two days.

  If I find a gif animated on a web page, the thing loads very well.

  If I open a page as

  My Firefox is will freeze, no response. My use of the UC Firefox.exe (Task Manager) will boost up to 50%. After 5 seconds, the .gif will load and everything will work correctly.

  I tested with all modules power off in safe mode. No luck.

  I tested with a whole new profile. No luck.

  I tested it with a registered .gif which opened via Firefox. No luck.

  I tested the same .gif in Chrome and it loads fine.

  Is there anything that guys could recommend me by train? This isn't really a devastating bug since everything can always be visible (if any), but I wouldn't mind it attaches.

  Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  A Flash preloader has nothing what so ever to do with HTML and is never added to HTML to load files Flash. It is created under the main .swf, not a separate file.

  Flash preloader is created in the first images of the FLA Flash file. It measures the amount of data that has already been downloaded compared to the total amount of data of the entire .swf file. Once this amount 100%, it goes down the playhead to Flash the main storyline in this area of the timeline that contains the main content. So preloader can occupy the 1-5 images, once the amount of downloaded data reaches 100%, the playhead moves to frame 6 and playes the rest of the timeline.

  Hi all

  I have an urgent problem of inserting a series of animations that I created in Adobe Edge in my portfolio website.

  I have 6 files to insert, which form a series of short animations.

  When I publish each file "adobe" edge, I understand that you must insert the Adobe Edge enforcement code in the head section and Edge Class code in the body section.

  What I'm not clear, this is where I save html, edge.js and edgeActions.js files. Should it be stored in the main folder where is saved the index.html file?

  And where images must be saved?

  If I try to move these files into subfolders, which seem to make sense to me, the animation does not work.

  What I leave me puzzled, you also need to record a 'edge.5.0.1.min.js' and a ' jquery-file 2.0.3.min.js in my javascript file. But whenever I publish an edge file, I need to save these files with the same name. And I don't know where these files must be saved.

  When you publish your animated project of edge, go to the "published" folder and extract all the files in the following folder titled 'web' and place them (as they are) in the folder corresponding to your index.html file. Once you add running Adobe Edge code animate the animation to your index.html file should be responsible. Don't forget that the edge file is already linked to image and js files in the exact form they appear after the opening of the "web" folder Thus any movement of files without taking into account other will break the link. For example: you can not put the .js to another folder after publication file because the file html for your project is related to the .js file exactly where he was when the publication was made. So he'll keep looking for this file in this location unless otherwise stated.

  An example of how you can organize your files: when you open your Web folder, it should be arranged something like this

  • -Images
  • -example.js
  • -exampleproject - edge.html

• CS6 bridge crashing when there's a GIF file in the folder.

  Out of the box, Adobe Bridge was "randomly" crash when opening files.

  To determine the cause of the accident, I created a new folder and drag the files one by one. among the other issues that crashed the bridge.

  All this works end until I drag a GIF file, and then it just stopped responding and immediately blocked.

  I tried with several different GIF files, and they seem to all be blocked the bridge.

  Ideas of all parameters to prevent this?

  I, of course, need to work with gifs, so those filtering is not a solution.

  Oh wow, I found a solution!

  Instead of using Adobe Bridge CS6 (64-bit), I used the non - 64-bit Adobe Bridge CS6 version, and these GIFs work now.

  I am trying to display several objects .swf into an html page.  The first object of .swf plays very well, but the other does not.  I've looked everywhere for the answer, but I don't know what to do (Besides, I'm a Flash noob).  My page is http://users.wpi.edu/~cdaley_jw/animation.html, please do not hesitate to consult my code.

  Dreamweaver tells me that swfobject.registerObject exist, or something like that, but I see that this code which is used elsewhere.  Swfobject.js in my main folder, too.  I don't have any idea what I'm missing.

  If you use the FLVPlayback component, using a relative address should not be a problem. Click on the component when it is on the stage and in the Panel properties, parameters, set the path of the WEB PAGE containing the .swf in the .flv file in the section "contentPath".

  Since you have the .flv in the same folder as the Web page, the relative path is:

  Daley_Christopher_Walk_Cycle.FLV

  Although not necessary, the absolute path is:

  I was told do not to use the < div class > tags too many times. I used them for the texts, the images, to clear the floats, basically, I built my website using multiple < div class > tags. So if I can not use several tags < div class > can I use the tags < class p > several times in the same html page?

  I restarted the site in order to write the code correctly so that I don't come from errors when downloading from the server, as I have with the above link.

  However, custom (and it's only a good one I think) are to use IDS to identify the primary container on your page.  Clearly you usually only have one header, content, footer, etc., area on a page.  This allows you to immediately identify where these rules apply.  Using a more generic class selector does not give you the same immediate locatability.  In addition to this, ID selectors have a specificity greated than the class selectors, which reinforces the rules cascade in the specific containers.

  I found similar questions in previous posts, but not this one. I publish a .swf Flash CS3 file, create the html page and the javascript file too. If I click on the page html locally, the sendAndLoad POST will succeed. If I download the 3 files on the server, the sendAndLoad will fail. If I remove 'AndLoad', the Send function will succeed. URL is complete. I think I brought a change in a Flash configuration, because the previous packages of this same file worked. Any ideas?

  You use the same id 'FL' swfobject.embedSWF methods - so a script replaces another in the element of the DOM with the id "FL".
