  Here's where it is troubling me - when I try to drag a line to the anchor point trying to transform the first line, I drew. (the line cursor turns into a selection tool) I can't draw another line connecting the first.

  Advice would be great because it's driving crazy me.

  Yes, it is irritating. You must clear the previous line first. If you want to make sure that both ends are perfectly aligned, start by turning on the guides. If you want two lines to be part of the same way, you should use the tool pen instead.

  Same as with a mouse. Click once on one end of the line the shift click on the other end of the line.

  You can use the path search tool to convert forms in one section, then gradient to create the dark lines where are the current limits.

  Or you can use "pen" one of them, to blend the overlap, but you may need to add the pen to a slightly larger copy of the object and your current border point to create a mask in order to keep the edges you want to stay strong and just leave an edge of more than in the other form.

  I'm trying to create what should be a simple line about 12 points in width that begins also horizontal and then get in a curve smooth a level about 1 "above, then continies as a straight line again (the shot of the whole image must be constant.)   I don't think you're missing something really, as you say press 'shift' to activate the version "+" of the Brush tool and so you will always get an addition to your selection if SHIFT-click between two points to give a straight line. If you really want to avoid using press SHIFT-click on the button 'invert' and then shift - click, when finished press "reverse" yet once and you should have what you want.

• Any ideas what to try?  The difficulty in tracing a logo .png with color gradient.

  Just follow the steps below.

  1. create a new transparent document.

  2. create a gradient in the gradient panel.

  3. click on Ctrl + S or Ctrl + Shift + S to save and choose the format ".png" file format option

  (If you want to create a transparent gradient then see attached screenshot settings)

  So, I have a very simple question, but the solution has escaped so far to me. I want to draw a curved line with an arrowhead at each end of it. The goal for this would be like a direction on a map. I have so far managed to put something together in Illustrator, but PS should be able to handle this in the same way?

  You can trace a path, and seecting triangular brush, uncheck the box spacing as a brush and set the command Angle jitter management Dynamice form, then load again, then use the eraser to clean the tips of stray arrows.

  I would stick with Illustrator.

• Having a problem to draw lines with arrows

  Maybe it's a bug/clitch side Illustrator and possibly without my knowledge.

  Every time I have to draw a line and put a race with arrowheads - everything works as it should.

  When I want to preset stroke and the tips of arrows and to draw the line with them – applies only the race but spikes are not applied, when I check options of race that I see other options that I set myself, but for arrowheads unset/no applied as they appear.

  I really need to shoot a lot of lines of the arrow and it would be too much of a hassle to manually set the arrowheads to each line.
