  • Photoshop CS6 says-"Could not complete your request because of a program error" on adding keyframes

    Greetings,

I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 to edit a video. This is a file created in the past that contains small animations such as opacity and some transformations. The last time that I finished working with the file, everything was perfect and has worked flawlessly.

I recently decided to open the file again to add an animated layer/chart. I added a text layer with a long string of numbers and a layer mask. The mask is not related to the text.

When I animate the layer using 'turn' (the moving text, from one side to the other), a keyframe is created. The problem is that I can't scrub the timeline for a time before the last keyframe (including the first keyframe). When I try to do so, or when I simply click on the button to the beginning of the video, I get this error: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

I tried to remove a lot of the old layers to get rid of their animations, in which case it was a problem of resource memory or something and it doesn't work. I closed and restarted the PS, still without success.

Please help me solve this problem. Thank you and have a nice day.

    I FIXED IT :)

I placed the text layer in its own folder. I then applied the layer mask in the folder, not the layer.

The text layer anime now, the error does not occur.

This shows that, at least on my system, Photoshop would allow me to animate the text layer if the layer itself had a mask that was not related to her.

If someone wants to venture guess as to why it happened, don't hesitate. I hope that the situation described above is not necessary a work-around, he must have worked as originally planned.

Take care and have a nice day.

I have an error message when you open any PDF file. It reads "Could not complete your request because of a disk error", but all the files are good. There is no this problem on the other computer with the same Photoshop installed under my own account. And also I couldn't save any file in PDF format. I get the same error message.

    My system info:

    And so on...

What can be done to avoid this error?

    Hey, Gerard!

Not, this work. So I tried to remove Photoshop and install it again. And it works. Now it can open all files :-)

So if anyone has the same problem, it is advisable to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop.

    Hello

I had not the permissions problem on my 10.9.1 system after execution of various updates so I must first of all understand the installation program to enter in the first State.

However, this can be related and worth giving a try:

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/creative-cloud/release-note/CC-release-notes.html

An update to the application of creative cloud was released a few minutes ago, "Successfully set access privileges on the folder"~/Library/Preferences/Adobe"on Mac OS X so that the current user has read/write access."

Quit, and then restart the creative Cloud desktop application to see the update.

  • Photoshop CS4 "could not complete your request because of a program error"

Although I used it, today, I tried to open Photoshop CS4 and received the message: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."  I tried to reboot (imac end 2012, Mountain Lion 10.8.2), reload the program but still get the same message.  Help?

OK, so everything that goes wrong - it is not writing in the newspaper.

There's only a few OS errors that occur at the beginning during the launch process.

First thing to try: trash the entire repertoire of Photoshop preferences.  You can back up the directory so your presets and others can be restored later.

Second thing to try: trash the file com.adobe.Photoshop.plist.  (this is the cache of Apple of their stuff related to Photoshop)

    Hello KOG Helpdesk.

What is happening with each Psd you open?

With Photoshop closed please navigate to

    • MAC:-users / [user name] / Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings

Adobe and rename AdobePhotoshop CS6Prefs.psp PhotoshopCS6Prefs.psp. OLD on MAC

    • Windows:-users / [user name] / AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings

    Rename AdobePhotoshopX64 CS6 Prefs.psp Prefs.psp AdobePhotoshopX64CS6 . OLD

Then restart Photoshop and see if it helps

  • In CS6 error message: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

I tried to upload a photo in CS6 and he gave the error message above and prevented the loading image.  I could then load the photo in LR5.7.1 without difficulty.  How can I overcome this problem in CS6?  Origin of picture from a cell phone.  Thank you.  Chuck

    Hi MrNatureMan,

Please save the image on the same computer and then try and open it in Photoshop.

In addition, you can try to reset the Photoshop preferences to default values and see if that helps.

Start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

    Let us know the results.

    Kind regards

  • Photoshop CC - "Could not complete your request because of a program error"

I just started getting this warning when you try to change my text into a file in photoshop. I copied the PSErrorLog.txt, that is:

I restarted it a few times, but it still occurs.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Just started happening spontaneously.

With the help of the retina of Macbook OS X Mavericks

    Help, please

    Thank you

Try using the command flush and see if that helps, its possible there is that something corrupt somewhere, the failure that you can always try a fresh reinstall. I don't have problems with the Mavericks on my iMac, so I don't think its specific to this update of the OS.

  • Lightroom to Photoshop export. Error in saving to JPEG "Could not complete your request because of a program error"

Lightroom 2.4 to Photoshop CS2. My export settings in Lightroom are resize to fit W & H 850 pixels (for web), resolution 300 dpi. Export as TIF, sRGB, 8-bit. When I go to download in Jpeg quality 10, I get the above error. Only, I get this error after I have used the adjustment brush in lightroom, and that's the problem. If I do not use the adjustment brush, it records very well. There is now a recent issue. I used the adjustment brush several times on a single issue in the past without problem. Lightroom crashed about 2 weeks ago, but I have all operational. I reinstalled Lightroom and I reinstalled Photoshop with no resolution. I tested this may times and it is certainly the issue of adjustment brush. If you have ideas or experience, like this I would be grateful for help.  Thank you

You can try to delete Lightroom/ACR adjustment settings using file information in Bridge or Photoshop. The screenshot below shows the two points you need to remove.

Note that -raw-camera settings will certainly appear in the list, but -raw-saved-camera settings will only appear if you had an Instant in Lightroom (at least one is normally created automatically)

    Hi Jess,
