Dreamweaver CS6 - always 100% of the CPU

Hello

I just installed the trial of Dreamweaver CS6. And I noticed that he always takes 100% of CPU!

I have disabled the ASSOCIATES FILES, deleted the cache, but it still takes 100% of CPU.

The CPU down to 0% as soon as I get any menu in Dreamweaver.

I tried the solution proposed here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/656747 but it did not always help.

Any advice?

Thank you!

If you have installed the update to Dreamweaver CCM (12.1), you should no longer face this problem. If you have 12.1 update installed and are still facing this problem, let us know. For users who are not on the cloud, Adobe is working on a version that resolves this problem.

    Hello

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community!

Try restarting your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

If the problem does not persist, I you suggest to restart the computer to return to normal boot and then run Autoruns by downloading it from the following link:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Once Autoruns runs in the computer, it will show the use of the processor by the exact process names. I suggest you to respond with the names of your higher CPU processes.

If the situation is the same in safe mode, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and try to run hardware diagnostics on the computer.

    Thank you.

  • CLEANMGR. EXE to almost 100% of the CPU

I opened the disk cleaned but it kept running after several minutes so I closed it.  Now CLEANMGR. EXE process is running close to 100% of the CPU.  The hard disk is not full.  I want to stop this process.

Select Ctrl + Alt + Delete to bring up the Task Manager. Click on the Applications tab, place the curson disk cleanup (CLEANMGR. (EXE) and end task. You may need to show patience, but it will end the task. The task will be probanly ended in all cases at the time you read this message, but it's the solution for the next time.

The behaviiour by the disk cleanup tool may be because it had not been run for a long time. Not only it removes unwanted temporary files but also compresses the recently accessed files. This is a known problem with disk cleanup it may take some time to evaluate the space gained by compressing the files.

  • All of the fonts that come with Dreamweaver CS6 are licensed for the use of the web?

All of the fonts that come with Dreamweaver CS6 are licensed for the use of the web?

I also have Creative Suite 5, which I think is delivered with a set of Adobe Fonts. These are all licensed?

A license?  Yes, but not necessarily for the web. Some licenses permit use on paper or images but not the web.

For legal reasons don't assume that you can use any font you want on the web. Fonts are protected by the intellectual property laws in the same way that software is protected against illegal copy, modify or distribute. In other words, an owner of fonts can of course, saying "you can use my font, but you cannot change it, you can not reproduce and you may not distribute." On the web, which is a deal breaker, because you must be able to do all three.

These font families are common to most Windows/Mac systems.

Adobe Edge and TypeKit Web fonts are licensed for use on the web.

  • 100% OF THE CPU

Flash Player uses all system resources during playback of a video, 100% of the CPU, but only in the tab in use. If I use another tab, the problem disappears and plays perfectly. What is the problem?

Thanks, but I already solved. The problem was the browser, Google Chrome. I use Opera and it works perfectly.

  • cfprefsd is always using almost 100% of the CPU

The cfprefsd process is constantly using ~ 97% of the CPU in the activity monitor. I am aware of what makes this process, but surely pegging a CPU core all the time is a bit exaggerated. Is it possible to know why this is happening? I see nothing in the system logs.

It seems to be related to the process turned blue . Kill (and only he respawn) caused cpfrefsd to calm down.

  • Constantly, Firefox crashes and freezes; uses 100% of the CPU during freezing.

Almost spontaneously, Firefox would freeze and unresponsive. Meanwhile, every Firefox window is out bleached and do not meet any entry, and the Firefox process uses up to 100 percent of the CPU. All active content running at the time of the gel, if one continues to operate as usual (videos continue to play, web applications, provide audio notifications send as usual, the visuals are now not visible as browser windows are frozen.) The sound continues uninterrupted, however.)

Freezing can occur at any time. Even when the user does not interact with Firefox, it can still freeze. Gel persists with all addons and plugins disabled.

The freeze would last between a few seconds to a minute, and after freezing, Firefox takes always respond as if nothing happened. While it causes no significant losses, the gel is extremely annoying and can occur as often as once every ten minutes.

The symptom of freezing is universal for all versions of firefox between 5 and 8.0a2.

I had this problem since I upgraded from FF5 to 6.02. I got the dev of Aurora version installed, so I can also confirm that the problem occurs in several versions. Exactly as mentioned OP: CPU load max, gel application, even without opening all Web sites - once again, he froze immediately after starting when the browser cache cleaning.

My profile was very old. I also disabled all Addons and Plugins, and the problem persisted. After that, I uninstalled Firefox but didn't keep my profile - no chance.

Nevertheless, reinstall a complete, plus the withdrawal of all profile data (C:\users\me\AppData\Local\Mozilla and C:\users\me\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla - export your bookmarks first of course) solved the problem. Downside is, you must reinstall all the AddOns, and your settings and cookies went. But these gels were even more annoying, so my advice would be to create a new profile.

  • Almost all cases no matter what programs run almost 100% of the CPU running.

Hey guys I have a problem I could use some help with.

    I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64-bit

    4 GB of Ram

    Intel Duo Core T6500 @ 2.1 GHZ

I've had this laptop over a year now and it works perfectly but around a week ago, he went a little out of whack.

Basically, no matter what programs are running my CPU usage will be 90-100%, which makes the laptop almost impossible to use.

It comes and goes a bit, but for the majority of the time is around this margin. (for example I wrote that his party up to 10% once again, little about what I expected, but it will rocket upward again in a few minutes)

The strange thing is that it doesn't seem to be a program or .exe using all CPU. Sometimes odd things as Dell Dock (which must use almost nothing) use up to 40% and if that gets closed or temporarily fixed things like explorer.exe, svchost.exe or whatever happens to be executed at the moment when will start using more CPU and look back up to 100%.

Only, this started happening recently and I have no idea what made him... Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions/help

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

  • Qosmio G40 - problem with the use of 100% of the CPU

In recent weeks I have problem like describbed here: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=126670𞻎

Almost the same thing - my computer starts and works ok, but from time to time is frozen by Symantec Service Framwork and all other descriptions are the same.

"After having been inactive during these seconds, the cooling fan will start to operate at maximum power, creating a huge noise, that I never experienced before, not even while the CPU was operating at 100% for a while due to other programs." Force a reboot is all what I can do. »

Almost all accidents that this question was by NIS2008, but also Vista explorer.exe and fingerprinttray service or the service of the Index process.

I received a notice from the team of NIS that I get to use the new NIS09, and for sure that my machine is damaged - check it out here http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&message.id=6964&quer y.id = 22439 #M6964

I called the Service, which has changed the ATV and CPU - I changed to NIS09 after, a few weeks was good, but now the problem back - in the last two weeks twice. (I observe that starts about 5 minutes after download of updates to NIS (I know cos NIS 09 indicator of that time).)

One change - Vista is able to kill that process damaged (Admins have no right to do), starts the process of WeAreFault, which sends information on crash for MS - after about 15 min computer starts to work properly without reboot... so I think that a problem is somwhere on the line between Toshiba and Norton, cos repair also change in behaviour of the machine - is now using work not CPU around 20% - before was 50 to 70% and 100% of crash. Norton is also, but must for this.

    Does anyone have a conclusion?

Generally, I don't like Norton because he needs as many resources and make the laptop lazy. On the net, you can find very good alternative applications.
Have you tested how the laptop works after removing the NIS?

  • Registration Wizard works 100% of the CPU after the Installation of LabVIEW

After installing LabVIEW and restarting, the registration wizard runs at startup [silently in the background], does nothing notable and eats 100% of a CPU core... that is, core runs at 100% CPU usage.

This has happened for quite some time now, since perhaps versions 2010 or 2011 LabVIEW and ultimately annoyed me enough to post because it is not fixed.  Obviously others have had the same issue as well, who went in abeyance... see this post: Assistant registration OR 50% of the CPU

In these cases they report 50% or 25% CPU because it is what happens when you have a dual or quad-core with one fully used heart... it is eating 100% of one heart, but gets divided by 2 or 4 on a quad-core or dual system and appears to be 50% or 25% CPU usage.

The workaround is obviously just to stop the boot at startup record Wizard, but really... have to solve this problem, whenever LabVIEW is installed... not ideal.

I'm running Win7 x 64.  I have the wizard registration market with trillions of cycles after my last CPU install LabVIEW.  I can collect logs or data or a stack dump or no matter what... Let me know what will be useful information for the OR try to correct this.
