  I tried to use the two trial Dreamweaver CS6 and bought Dreamweaver CS3 at the same time.  My purchase Dreamweaver CS3 now connects to the CS6 to trial even if the link has not changed.  How to continue to use (or not use) bought Dreamweaver CS3?

  The "missing" elements in your screenshot not lacking - they were in CS6, that they were abducted in CC.

  Dreamweaver CS6 (v.12) and Dreamweaver CC (v.13) are two different versions of Dreamweaver. Looks like you are under CC and think it's CS6.

  You compare the CS6 (v.12) interface with the interface (v.13) CC - and very little has changed.

  The "missing" elements have been removed by Adobe to simplify the DW CC interface.

  Services CS Live have been abandoned by Adobe in 2012 and early 2013, while the button has been removed in CC.

• Installation of Dreamweaver CS6

  Hello

  I use a laptop Dell Inspiron with Windows7 64-bit and trying to install Dreamweaver CS6 everything seems to install ok, but when I try to run the application, I get an error that miss me ImageOptimization.dll.  I tried to install a few times, and then restart before launching Dreamweaver.  The strange thing is that Dreamweaver CS6 does not appear in the list of add or remove programs after installation, if something should go wrong during installation.  I use the option "I have a serial number" and paste the number and valid without problem.

  I bought the version download-able from Amazon.com.  Only other Adobe major I installed product is Photoshop Elements 9, I got through Dell when buying this laptop.  Does anyone have ideas for me?  I tried Googling the problem, but did not find anything useful.

  Sorry, intended to respond to this yesterday.  It was my antivirus software detect this DLL and remove it.  I really had to work to make sure that all parts of the antivirus have off and not dominant settings to remove the file again.

  Thanks for the reply though - he would have the lead helped the antivirus issue.  (I never had to disable the antivirus to install the software).

  If missing winhttp.dll, some Services from Microsoft (and others) just will not start:

  BITS service (Background Intelligent Transfer Service)
  Automatic Update Service (it crashes you try to start)

  You can see things like this in the Event Viewer log system:

  Some products Adobe also will not work, like the Adobe Dreamweaver CS5ServiceManager Service Manager (and perhaps other Adobe startup items) not start and displays error message like this:

  Running sfc/scannow will not replace the winhttp.dll file missing.  I know because I tried.  It's just another wild goose chaseSupport Engineer.

  I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

  You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

  c:\Windows\System32
  c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files).

  When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

  When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

  You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file called winhttp when the name of the file should really be called winhttp.dll (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

  You then put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.

  Sfc/scannow will not replace the winhttp.dll file missing, but it will be a frustrating waste of time and a technician to support running wild goose chase.  Technical support engineers are hired by Microsoft if you hope that someone would know better.

  It's a shame that the technical support engineer did not his own advice to "check how it works.

  I bought CS6 4 years. I think it is absurd that it becomes unusable so early.

  CS6 released in 2012 is now 8 versions behind the current CC 2015.3.  And it is not certified to run on the operating systems Windows 7 or OS x 10.7.  If it works on El Capitan, great!  You can continue to use it for another 3-4 years.  Just do not upgrade to Sierra until you're ready to raise a creative level Cloud.

  I have a Dreamweaver CS6 which was installed stand-alone version on my Mac (OS 10.10.1) for a couple of years now and has worked well. Last year, I joined the creative cloud and got a single subscription to Dreamweaver CC. A week hardly, after 1 year, I cancelled the subscription. I wanted to go back to my old Dreamweaver CS6, but when I launched DW CS6 it grew up the account manager and he wanted me to activate my subscription again. So, through a long process to Adobe customer service, I deleted the application manager. But when I went to the DW CS6 launch, he said that the account manager was missing and impossible to verify the serial number. Then I reinstalled the new account manager to have the same problem occur.  I need to reinstall an OLDER version of the account manager so that it does not have to register again for the subscription of the CC? Is it still possible? Bottom line: how to launch my old DW CS6 stand-alone version without running account manager problems?

• All Jquery in Dreamweaver cs6 codes are old. How do update you?

  With great respect for the Adobe community and hard work technicians and developers and designers...  Building a mobile app in Dreamweaver, but all Jquery codes which are available in Dreamweaver CS6 is older versions. Once you change them then all the icons disappeared or something disappears. Application of gap phone cannot locate the SDK connect, or can not connect at all. All seem good and great in video tutorials, try it on your own and you have gray hair to begin more and more on your head. (It feels like a bad joke). What happened to big business to ADOBE? As a student, we can't spend as freely of a company, and what you have is for all subject them and other materials not only ADOBE products and I doubt ADOBE corporation is the eye on the money students GET by their materials and food update for this and that, buy this or that , and later the entire system is changed again, now we have this creative cloud update which is basically trying to sell you products CC instead updated SC 6 which is not so old at all shorts products comes in updates.

  Meanwhile, I solved the problem as follows: I searched "dreamweaver" everywhere one deleted all that I could find. Then I googled "CS6" and did the same. I guess that there are around 20 or more places where I deleted files or directories. Suddenly, installation has not prevented, to 2%, what he has always done before and the installation was a success :-) It cost me more than 4 hours to understand this, and I have found a trick somewhere really help. Adobe itself I could not contact because I couldn't find an email address or a phone number - poor support for such expensive software. For luck, I didn't deliver something just in time.   Have you tried to load a test page to your Web site? Preview Flash locally is hit or miss.... unless what I remember. If it works on your site using multiple browsers, then I think that you cannot ignore the problem of local insight.

• Dreamweaver CS6 custom ' open Mavericks 10.9

  I just did a clean install of CS6 on my computer, running the Mavericks 10.9.5. When I try to open Dreamweaver, the icon appears in the dock, then closes. Following the instructions in a previous note tech, I created a new admin user and Dreamweaver opens fine. I copied the user preferences for the library of my account admin user original, but with the same result.

  I finally managed to install Dreamweaver CS6;

  What I did:

  -Remove Dreamweaver CS6 with uninstaller,

  -in the library > Application Support > Adobe > remove everything with dreamweaver in the name

  for me, it starts with 9 Dreamweaver Dreamweaver CS4, CS5, CS6

  -in the library > Preferences >

  There was an Adobe folder > Dreamweaver I removed

  There were several prefs files I deleted

  -J' reinstalled DreamWeaver CS6 and it works;

  Let us know if it works for other peoples
