  I can't install the audio driver on my X 200. One provided by Microsoft works fine except that the speakers connected to the docking station do not work. When I try to install the driver provided by lenovo, I get two scenarios:

  1. when start you the installation with no compatibility mode, I get a message that the device for a driver is not detected and the installation program ends.

  2. when I try to do the same with Vista compatibility mode, the installation starts, but the resulting state is 'Failure' and I can't determine the cause of it.

  In any case, I find myself with the Microsoft driver installed. It could be related to the version of the driver (from MS is most recent a Windows don't want to replace)

  Any ideas how to install the driver? Someone has it done on Windows 7 RTM x 64?

  I solved the problem on mine I found the older version of the driver and installed it - result: SUCCESS

  If someone would have a problem with the new driver of v4.92.7.0/3.64.7.0 here is the link to the one that worked for me:

  I just upgraded to Windows 7 x 64, software downloaded and installed HP driver software. no problems and seems to work very well until Windows began to report disabled devices and no driver installed device. After sytem restart the printer went from devices and printer folder. HP Solution Center says then that installation was incomplete.

  Windows will detect the driver if I use HP software (I like for the printer solution center when it works). I tried everything I can think of.

  I had to uninstall iTunes a few months ago and successfully re-installed, but part of my music was missing.   At one point, following the instructions on a thread on the forums Apple or Microsoft, I saved my music library on the desktop. Since then, I do not have a library of music on the desktop file.  In my looooooong hours trying to fix things, I do not know if I deleted it or what.

  As indicated by the error, this problem appears, when these files/libraries that are saved automatically are not present on your computer. I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it can help solve the problem.

  • Create missing files that are listed in the error message.
  • Exclude files from the files to backup in the backup settings and then include these files in their original location. To exclude folders in other communities and to include these files in the original location, follow these steps:
    1. In Control Panel, open backup and restore.
    2. In the section back up , click change settings.
    3. In the dialog box Configure the backup , click Next.
    4. In the dialog box that you want to save , click Let me choose, and then click Next.
    5. Expand data files, library, expand additional locations, and then click to clear the check boxes folder AppData, Contactsand Research .
    6. Expand computers, expand the element of your system drive (for example, expand Local disk (c)), expand users, , and then click to select the checkboxes AppData, Contactsand Research if they exist.
    7. Click Next, and then click Save settings and exit.
    8. Backup and restore, click back up now to perform a new backup. The backup operation must complete without errors.

  1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
  2. When do you get exactly the error message?
  3. Have you tried to connect to any other computer on this flash drives?
  4. Your USB key works on other computers or have you tried to connect to different USB ports on this computer?
  5. Is the pen drive getting detected in the case or you are able to access the drive folder in the window of the computer ?

  The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged, or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. But now, I hit a wall: startup in windows install works fine, even copied files when started installing windows. But. When should I choose the destination for the installation, no drive must be found. I copied the drivers for the drive directly from windows for the installation media, install said no driver here, nono. This is the original hybrid drive came with the laptop. No systeminfo identifies the disc. Some say it's a record of intel, propably chipset's. Checked Bios, no probs there.

  Extract the files on a usb flash drive.

  With the flash player and the installation of W7 media connected to the computer, boot from the installation of W7 media.

  After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

  I read your post about windows update problems and wanted to help.
  
  I would that be able to say that updating to Win10 was an exact science where we know exactly how he does it, and what it should - but the flooding of this and other instances of Win10 problem after that problem indicates that, at best, we are all guessing.

  So, I think, from what I've read and done on my PC, is that you SHOULD be able to avoid the problem of missing updates by updating using Win10 created using this MS link media: 10 Windows Installer using the media - Windows help authoring tool

  After you create the DVD or USB, NOT boot from it. Instead, insert it into your PC and, if it does not auto-start, right click on the file setup.exe and run it.

  HOWEVER - and this is important - PC Win7 have a rate low success updated Win10 without problem - primariluy lack of OEM Win10 drivers.  Typical problems include display artifacts (to cause to be obliged to use the driver for the card of Microsoft Basic), not wireless and touchpad problems.  The drivers Microsoft provides have only the most basic features, with none of the extras that the HP drivers bring to the stage.

  It is further complicated by the function Win10 GoBack, whereby you can return to your original operating system, being known to be unreliable. So when your upgrade machine malfunctioning, only then you discover that you cannot return the machine to work, that you had originally!

  You can protect yourself against ending up with a damaged machine - seriously considering using a free third-party product that works for airport Imaging/restoration - Macrium Reflect.
  
  Macrium reflect (MR) provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.
  
  What I recommend is the following:
  (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
  (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
  (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key
  
  NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.
  
  So now you can recharge before with the upgrade, knowing that whatever happens, you will be able to return to your currently works in a few minutes.

• Repair of window Vista - problem starting - stuck scrolling bar load

  Looking for assistance here, if anyone can help, I have a laptop LG R410, age two months running windows vista basic 32-bit.

  Laptop used to start and rest the scroll bar loading.  Tried through 'F8' menu to start in "Safe Mode", but wont even boot into Safe Mode, is the last driver loaded:

  Windows system32 drivers crcdisk.sys

  Also, tried "last good configuration" but nothing is.

  Try to repair windows with the repair disk. but no joy once again, by looking at the details of the diagnosis and repair, it shows repair stalled when the event log diagnostic testing.  It will not accomplish this test, even after leaving during the night.

  Also tried to go back to a restore point, but because it is new, it doesn't show any restore points that were to restore the system back.

  No backup available or go to restore.

  Memory Diagnostic test has been successful.

  Ran sfc/scannow to command prompt, is back with "start scanning system.  This process will take time. "A few seconds later says"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation. »

  A ran Chkdsk C: /f so none of the bad sectors on the hard disk.  Summary says "Windows has checked the file system and found no problem."  But return the following message at the end summary "cannot transfer messages saved in the journal of the events with the 50 State."

  Any help to help solve my problem would be appreciated gratefully.

  Thanks for responding.

  Problem solved, or not!  Hard drive is damaged.  As a result of tests with checkdisk and knowing that he is not really do a thorough job.  I checked the hard drive once more with 'SeaTools' of Seagate.

  The hard drive is riddled with bad sectors.  Filed in support of Service today and they confirmed the hard drive is faulty and they will replace it under warranty.

  I'm try to use a WD Passport essential 320 drive (8 months) as support for my daughter Gateway laptop (about 4 years old; 2 GHZ RAM, 150GB hard drive, 100 GB of free, USB ports are 1.0 only, sigh!).    Instead of using WD Smartware, try to use the backup utility Windows Vista (Basic, 32-bit).    I followed instructions from WD on this exactly, but every time I try the backup, which takes more than half an hour in what appears to be a valid backup operation, the backup stops abruptly with an error message indicating that the backup failed.  Error message States only: 0x80070005 - access is denied.  As far as I can tell, I attributed to full sharing for the drive and the drive itself shows as a separate with no partitioning drive.   Technical support (level 1) WD told me that they think that the drive itself is correct, that the problem is with Windows and that they could not help me with Windows problems.   Themselves to level 2 has said pretty much the same thing but offered through the messages of support from MS, but neither he nor I saw patches associated with Vista, only the XP machines.  What is the benchmark for my Vista operating system?   Thank you!

  I have the same problem.  I have a WD external hard drive, I had the habit of saving on all the time with no problems.  January 2011, I have not had a successful backup and rather get moved out of the backup mid-term with error 0x80070005 access denied.  Have you ever found a solution?  I tried to turn off UAC, security, firewall, backup in safe mode, but nothing works.
