  Well, first of all you are sure that the drive is dead or it of just not possible to boot from the recovery CD?
  Press the C key immediately after booting laptop (by pressing the power button) to boot from the CD drive.

  If it doesn t work so try to boot from the original Windows CD. Perhaps the Toshiba Recovery CD is damage. But if it is not possible to boot from a CD so I would say that the reader has a malfunction.

So I started looking for the causes of the problem with my system and noticed that TouchFreeze, a utility to disable the trackpad of mobile during the seizure to prevent the cursor jump around the screen of the Palm of your hand, was running (I only turn it on when I went to type extended). And, as soon as I left it, the space key hand tool shortcut has started working again. I use a wireless USB mouse &, so I do not know why the conflict occurred. Guess on some small level, the two could not agree.

  I am concerned when I saw many similar messages from the forum as paulburd, which dates back to earlier versions of CS. Hope he and others manage to find other easy patches - I feel like I got lucky.
