Drive hard hdtb310ek3AA green / red - is the two identical HDD?

Hello. Model HDTB310EK3AA comes in a red and green packaging. Now I have two, one is packed red, the other green. The Red packed HDD has a number of HDTB310EK3AA ACS: L A, the Red packed a college HDTB310EK3AA: P B.

Now, these two drives are considered to be a single model? I see that the packed HDD red often tend to cost more to purchase than the packed green ones. I wonder why. Thank you. Rich.

P.S. I have a picture that shows the colors of the packaging: Red: standard; Green: advanced and gray: Professional. Which is also to ask me.

In any case, this is why look like than pay the higher price for the packed HARD drive in red, when you arrive (apparently) the same product packaged in green. Also, I think this model is now only being packed in green. I think that this is the case, do not know about you.

  • Delete/reformat the drive hard partition (s) to activate the operating system reinstall

I have a HP 2000 2b09wm. He just broke, gives me the error message saying in that I needed a new hard drive. Suppose the old went kaput (even though I bought this pc on eBay not a month or two before). I have a new HD and a Windows 8 reinstall the software from a dealer on eBay. I tried several routes to try to reinstall the OS, resulting in many dead ends *. I asked the dealer to help, but did not get much. The last thing he offered was to remove the partitions in the new HD. I looked at a page eHow, how to remove Partitions on a hard drive. It is said to get a CD which includes fdisk.com. I burned super fdisk (2 MB) of SFbootablecd.iso and fdisk (40 MB) of fd11src.iso. I went into the BIOS to set the boot order. I put the saved first, CD/DVD-ROM internal drive and tried the two CDs. It always starts with just a screen with this:

    Not found boot device
Please install an operating system on your hard drive
    Hard drive (3F0)
    F2 System Diagnostics
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup

I even tried to put the CD/DVD ROM USB drive first... same results.

So my questions to you, I guess, is first of all, why the CDs fdisk is not start? I burn the evil fdisk? Second, do you know why my OS couldn't be installed using the software to reinstall? The guy I got it (http://www.ebay.com/itm/181524428825?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) , verified_computer_specialists, has excellent comments, so I guess that the software is legitimate and the computer is actually original with Windows 8.

    Thank you.

  • CD/DVD drives not working only not on the two PC running Vista, heeeeeelp!

Hi guys, two PCs, which is new, both running Vista decided that the installed CD/DVD readers shouldn't work!

The new PC reads a CD/DVD when inserted (lamps flash to recognize this is something), then nothing (Autoplay is configured to use iTunes ) so I'm going to, click on 'Computer' on the disc, and he says "insert a disc into the DVD drive (f) "

So, I installed the MS auto fix jobbie and it says ' insert readable media...» "I've had (several store bought CD and DVD all failed to save) then I tried to search the upper and lower filter using regedit, but there is no file with this name in the folder on the drive.

Apparently, it is specific to Vista, but suggested courses of action left me with an even worse urge to kick the bloody things around the House that I had when I tried to play the CD in the first place, any help from you lovely people would be most appreciated. Thank you, James :)

    Hello

If you have too many programs loading CD/DVD they can collide with each other as they
competition for resources. These will be workload often pieces of themselves in memory at startup
so it will have an effect, even if not to use. If you have installed some of these

  • My drive hard wd crashed. After the replacement, the computer is located on the blue HP screen. Help.

My 1 TB WD drive crashed.  I replaced it with another disk of 1 TB WD.  When I turn on the computer and insert the recovery disk, nothing happens.  It is located on the blue HP screen.  I hit esc, nothing.  I hit F11, nothing.  I'm stuck.  Probably something simple, but I can not understand.

brackman63 wrote: it seems that refusal to acknowledge this new record is due to failure of the motherboard according to a friend who works in it.  I imagine that will lead to an expensive repair and may not be worth the effort.  a new computer may be in my future.  Oh joy...

Hello brackman63, this is possible, but I have never had this problem in more than 25 years of working on computers

You can see if you can install a Sata addon hard drive controller card. There are some of them which are not very expensive. There is of course no guarantee that it would work.

If the disk controller hard motherboard is defective, then the original hard disk can still be good.

    Just some thoughts.

  • Certificate error on one of the two identical systems?

I recently installed Ubuntu 12.04, PC01 and PC02 two COMPLETELY identical systems. The browser is the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.

When visiting https://www.komplett.dk/k/signin.aspx with cp01, the connection is secured and everything is OK, no error message. When you visit the same URL with PC02, the following error message appears:

    ---
    This connection is Untrusted

You asked Firefox to connect safely to www.komplett.dk, but we cannot confirm that
    your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect safely, sites will present a reliable identification to prove
you go to the right place. However, the identity of this site cannot be verified.

    What should I do?

If you normally connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that a person is
trying to impersonate the site and you should not continue.

    Get me out of here!

    Technical details

www.Komplett.dk uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not approved, because no sender string has been provided.

    (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

    I understand the risks
    ---

Why is - what happens when systems are COMPLETELY identical? I tried to delete the folder of profile on both systems, but the result is the same. NO certificate has been installed manually on cp01, so this isn't the reason. The size of the file cert8.db on cp01 is 94K and on PC02 is 64K, I don't understand how the size may be different when profiles are newly created.

I really want to know why, I feel a different behavior with Firefox, on two identical systems, so any suggestions or ideas are welcome.

Note that Firefox automatically records the intermediary certificates that send servers in Manager certificates for future use.

So, you can't see a mistake if you have visited a Web site in the past who did send the intermediate certificate.

If you have ever visited a Web site that uses the same intermediate certificate then Firefox it has not registered and you will get an error unreliable.

We use the term "housekeeping."  It's when you wipe the hard drive

Formatting seems ok, but actually considered clearing, repartition the drive.

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_formatting

I suggest you do a normal backup and then differential periodically.  This avoids that the difference between the initial backup and changes made to the files.  If you are happy with the changes, do the differential backup.  When you make other changes and that you do not have the old files, it is safe to do a new differential backup and delete the previous.  This saves disk space.

Description of full, incremental, and differential backups

You can save the backup on DVD files and store them still freeing up hard drive space.  In addition, it is recommended to store them in your home disaster (earthquake, fire, etc.).  Ex: Safe, best friend or the relative's House.

My computer was working fine last night, then today everything worked slower and things started to freeze sometimes. I have inirialemenr thought it was just Google Chrome because it seemed well until that open, but then everything was slower, so I restarted the computer and ran the diagnosis of boot and the short DST hard drive failed to give me the ID of the failure of 9U0K9R-66X77D-QFPK1G-60QL03. Does that mean that my hard drive is failing and I need to replace?
My computer is a HP Pavilion dv6-7010US entertainment with product ID B5S11UA #ABA PC

Yes, DST failure message indicates hard drive has failed or is failing and must be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 500 GB hard drive you can use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. Hey all,.

The other day that the HARD drive in the laptop from my friend bit the dust. Fortunately, he didn't just what he needed on this subject. Then he ordered an SSD 120 GB from newegg and gave it to replace (I'm apparently a personal technical support of my friend). Now I need to install a new copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. So, I headed over to the Microsoft page for the download of Windows 7: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

But when I entered the product key from the bottom of the laptop code, he said that this keycode seems to have been pre-installed on a device, and I have to contact the manufacturer of the device (Dell, in this case).

What should I do? I wish the Digital River downloads still existed. I could install and then enter the product key code. But, they do not exist, and I'm not ready to download win7 some fragmentary Torrent sites, because of the possible malware or adware or other.

And if all else fails, I'm finally convinced that he should switch to Linux, which in my opinion is not yet comparable to Windows. And hey! It's free! No keycodes required 25-digit.

The recovery of the software Page do not work with OEM product, complete keys keys and upgrade retail only.

After much checking files, creating new profiles and modified to accommodate all the original emails, addresses, filters etc etc. I finally got it working. • upgrade the hard drive internal 1 TB SSHD to the Macbook pro (pro mid-2010)

    OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

    MBP 13-inch, mid 2010

2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    RAM: 8 GB

I just bought this Seagate 1 TB SATA SSHD 54.

Is it possible that I can clone the old hard drive (250 MB) on this new disc hard safely?

A video supposed to be removing the old disk, replace it with the new hard drive, use a SATA adapter cable to connect the old drive to MBP.

After that, use 'Super Duper '...  https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=9KQG4yBRTGI

My question is, has anyone tried to do these updates?

All suggestions are welcome! Thank you in advance. I bought a new battery, upgrade the RAM and now the SSHD (no SSD. ) Forward to the last step. I don't know if I'll really have a more rapid aging, but I am hopeful!

I got Seagate SSHDs in my Mbps, and will not otherwise by installing an OSX than any other type of HARD drive.

I suggest that you install it in a closed enclosure and connect to your MBP via USB.

Open disk utility > erase and format the SSHD for Mac OS extended (journaled) and a GUID partition.

Use a third party application like Carbon Copy Cloner (not free, but worth the price) to copy all data from the drive HARD internal as well as the recovery partition.

Start the MBP with the OPTION key and select the new SSHD.

If it starts the MBP, proceed to the physical exchange of hard disks.

    Ciao.

  • Re: Satellite P500-1F8 - where to purchase 2nd drive HARD trolley?

    Hello

I want to add an SSD in the 2nd Bay of my P500-1F8, but need a "caddy" provider to keep in. I removed the two lids HDD bay, currently unused Bay has SATA connections (but no box), but the cart must be different from the one currently being used, as the two screws are used to hold it in place, while the HARD drive is held in place with only one screw on the caddy.

I intend to use the SSD as a boot only disk and use the current 640 GB HDD for storage. I would have thought, with a laptop this expensive, the caddy would be included, it's only a piece of cheap Tin pressed when all is said and done!

Any help on this would be greatly received because I really have to add an SSD, but don't want to spend a fortune on a large capacity that would allow me to store all my music, etc.
    Thanks in advance, Roo

    Hey,.

I can understand you Roo, SSD are really nice so it s good idea to use it as a boot drive and use your HARD drive being stored.

Anyway, this HARD drive caddy, you can get to an authorized service provider. Guys can order all spare parts Toshiba so I'm sure they can order the correct caddy for you. Here is a list with all the addresses that you can contact them:
