Drive HARD of Equium A200 is not recognized on other laptops Toshiba

I had an A200 equim but it is now broken, I wanted to put my hard drive in an another Toshiba, I tried the A100 as a friend had one, but would not work. I have another friend who has an A300 that I'll try the weekend but don't know if it will work and not more.

Any idea of the reason why the hard drive A200 will work in A100? Sorry, my knowledge about computers is not great?

Basically, I bought a label software I was using, I installed on my computer laptop partners and emailed the company and they said I have to buy a new license (which cost me 200usd!) for a new laptop!

I bought a second hand A100 and managed to the key code of hard drive, however when I print there still the watermarks of the company on the labels is basically useless.

I managed to get the files on disc hard when he was in the linux computer, well, a friend for me anyway!

Are you sure that your A200 HARD drive is not faulty?
> I tried the A100 as a friend had one, but would not work
How to understand this?
HARD drive is recognized in the BIOS?
If you try to use a disk bootable for installing operating system can configure detect this HARD drive?

Sorry, but this software problem is not understandable for me and you should clear it with the Publisher of the software.

Try opening the iPhone before connecting to Windows. If the film is not empty, then the device should be listed in Windows Explorer. If it still does not show try to restart the computer and the device, and then try again. If it does not show more in iTunes then try iOS device is not showing in iTunes for Windows.

  • USB - external hard drive WD My Book 1230 is not recognized (Code 28 - access denied)

Problem started with the purchase of a an external 4 TB My Book Western Digital drive.

I bought this second external drive for backup on a fully functional IDENTICAL existing WD my book 1230 4 Tb.

My PC is a HP Pavilion e9180f running under Windows 7 64-bit.

The new external drive is not recognized by the PC... I get the error message

    Thank you.

Unfortunately, your procedure has not worked as the device could not be uninstalled from the Device Manager.

As I prepared to reinstall Windows 7, I gathered information from Control Panel - programs.

I did a search by the most recent dates, and I realized that an Application has been installed and I was not aware that I installed it.

The cause of my 9 day long search for a solution was a malicious program called Manager of adjustment by the AZTECS.

Removing and restarting desktop cured the problem.

Now all USB devices, including my Western Digital My Book 1230 are recognized.

Thanks for your advice, support and everything.

It is a "case closed" with a happy ending :-)

  • Need to drive recovery for Equium A200-15i

I'm a noobie and posted this query in the box Equium, so apologies for swap. I bought an Equium A200-15i computer about a month ago. There was _no_ recover CDs in the box just the Windows Anytime upgrade disc. I contacted the store where I bought the computer to be told to put in the computer and they would take the details of it in order to create or order the CD. I did this and then said that they would have to wait until 'a guy' is established at the end of week, who knew how to create these discs and back again once then.

Because of the great distance involved in travel, I was reluctant to make a second trip to the store and suggested that if they take all the details of the computer now, they should be able to create this disc and then after it me. I still have not received this drive at all. Now at the same time, the guys at 'tech' in the shop said they believed that I wouldn't need a CD master. In addition, they imply that it should be possible to create this disk myself at the first start-up or windows environment itself. I do not remember this option of provision for me at this time and I can't find anything on the computer that would allow me to accomplish such a task.

Here, I'm confused. I know not enough about computers to realize that you need a Master CD to recover a system failure major hard drive or simply to clean and re-all over again!

What are your thoughts on this situation? Should this model really a MAster CD. How do you create one. What should I do next? Thanks for your time and your patience with me on this

    Hello

I wonder why you did not receive the Toshiba Recovery CD with your laptop.
I'm 100% sure that the CD or the DVD should be bundled with the laptop Toshiba together
I put t know if the package was already opened or not, but the DVD must be available!

SO either you go ask your original dealer of laptop to a Toshiba Recovery CD or simply contact you the Toshiba ASP and will be stopped a new!

  • Drive HARD Win 7 recovery does not work on Satellite L750

    Hello

I have the Toshiba Satellite L750 with preinstaled win 7.

I instaled the upgrade to win 8 (from dvd).

After that I improve the MS site to Win 8.1 System.

The system does not work properly (DVD is not recognized) so I have to install previuos system.

First of all, I'm improving my BIOS for the new one - 3.60.

After that I try to win 7 reinstal my HDD recovery (which is located on the d partition). But it does not work: it has been impossible to start recovering in the menu of the bios (F8 key does not work, it was only possible to press F2 or F12).

So I have to install my dvd 8.0 Win and now I have it and it works. But this is only a clear system without any addons like nero, ms office etc.

My question is how do reinstal win 7 of my hard drive recovery that I always on the d partition?
in the bios the F8 key does not work.

After clean OS installation installation of HARD drive recovery not working anymore. If you want to have the original image of recovery preinstalled on your machine, you must use recovery DVDs.
I assume that you did not create this disc, right?

In the user s manuals document clearly described how it works with the image recovery and the creation of recovery disks.

  • 1.5 TB external DRIVE not recognized on various laptops disk

    Hello

I was wondering if someone could help me.

I bought my 1.5 terrabyte toshiba external hard drive just for more than a year. It works fine on my other computer, laptop and cell phone from my boyfriend, but when I joined four other new laptops (all different brands) recently it was not recognized at all on these laptops.

Is there something wrong with my outside or something on these computers it prevents to be recognized? Do you know how I can fix this problem?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

And if you connect the external HARD drive to your boyfriend s computer laptop, everything is always ok? Only problems with new laptops?

Well that s really strange have you tried another USB cable and different USB ports?

Maybe on the new laptops the antivirus or firewall blocks access to the external hard drive. Check your security software and to allow external devices.

  • Equium A60 - Generic not recognized USB Hub

Equium A60, XP Home Edition SP3.

My Tevion USB 2.0 combo card reader is reported as being a USB device fails, is not recognized and implemented in the device as an unknown device manager.

    Here's the riddle:
When I plug it into the same old PC under XP Pro SP3, it is recognized and works.
When I plug it into a new PC running Vista Home Premium, it is recognized and works

    And finally, and especially:
When I plug a USB 1 Hub 4 ports on the A60 Equium and then plug the Tevion USB2.0 card reader this Tevion card is recognized and works. There are a lot of bleating like a lost sheep on the run faster if connected to a USB 2 port, but if I plug it directly into the port from Toshiba it does not at all.

Any ideas to solve this problem or similar experiences?

    Wizzer

Is the gap of 4-port hub powered by the USB port of your satellite or is it a KVM?

If self-powered it s then it s obviously needs a lot of power combo card reader which can be provided by all of your computers, but not the satellite.

It is a theory that might make sense... :)

Be done I ve had almost four years without any problems, but I would like to know if someone has or has had the same problem

    Hey

For me it looks like the power cord is broken or it s something wrong with the power connector on mother/computer laptop card.

Best way to determine what part is causing this problem needs to connect to an AC/DC adapter. If you have a friend with compatible adapter will ask if you can test the adapter on your laptop. In order to check if it s the AC/DC adapter or power connector for laptop.

I think that in both cases, you need some spare parts and you can get a provider of service authorized in your country. :)

  • Replacing the drive HARD on Equium M50-216

    Hello

I'm looking into upgrading the hard drive in my M50-216, which currently has a MK4026GAX. The player that I am most interested is the MK8032GAX. Is this a suitable replacement, that is going to work?

    A few questions:

    1. I guess it's just a case of withdrawal of the current drive, mortising the new one and start using my Toshiba restore CD? This will reinstall the Norton junk as well?

    2. assuming I have remove the current without shape, i.e. I leave it as it is, I suppose that if I find the new drive does not work I'll be able to put the former back in and it will start like nothing happened? I'm not changing any other material.

    3. it will work as a trolley suitable for the old disk: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=414030

    4. the most important question will be affecting my current standard warranty, or assign an extension of warranty if I choose to buy a more this year?

    Thank you
    Baillie

  • CD/DVD drive has stopped working and now not recognized in 'My Computer'

I have a HP Pavilion computer to office model a6109n, product number GG038AA, S/N CNH7250K0M. I've been running Windows 7 for 2 years. My CD player recently stopped working. I can't attribute this failure to any specific event that would have led to it.  When a CD is inserted, the green light comes on for about 6 seconds then turns off. The CD player is not long represented on the 'My Computer' to readers list. The CD drive appears in Device Manager. I tried to roload the driver for CD drive, Windows gave a message stating that the best driver is already installed. I have no error message and ran three programs different viruses with no problems. I've also updated Windows available current configuration that has not solved the problem. Thinking it was a hardware problem, I checked the CD drive cable connections and that did not help.  I replaced the CD drive with a new drive for HP and had the same symptoms. I returned the new CD player and he traded for an external CD drive and had the same symptoms in all USB ports. I tried every USB port with a flash player and the flash player saved on my computer in all USB ports. If my CD drive is being recognized by the Device Manager but not in my computer. It's okay if it's an internal or external drive. Everything else on the computer works fine. More troubleshooting ideas?  Thank you.

    Hello

First, try the automated Microsoft fixit at the link below.

    Windows 7

Check if the drive works now.

If it still does not work, click on the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER.

sfc/scannow                (Note that there is a space between sfc and /)

Let the entire process, then the output type and press ENTER.

Then, click on the Start Menu, open Control Panel and click Device Manager.  Click to open the CD/DVD-ROM drives.  Right-click on the drive and choose uninstall.  Do not delete if requested drivers.  When the device has been uninstalled click the icon 'Search for hardware changes' (usually just below help in the toolbar).  Let windows reinstall the disc and see if it works now.

    Kind regards

  • Windows 7 is not recognized on my laptop satellite

My windows 7 is no longer recognized by my laptop and the button at the bottom of my laptop has been rubbed by far.

Is it possible to fix this or am I required to pay for a new key?

Most Toshiba laptops comes with the operating system preinstalled, with the so-called recovery image. This recovery image contains the operating system, all necessary drivers, Toshiba specific tolls and public services and some additional software. This version of the OS is activated and should not be enabled at all.

The sticker product key belongs to this recovery image and cannot be used for any other OS activation.
I put t know which version you use, but if you use the version installed with original installation disk Microsoft this product key is useless.

If you have created recovery disk using this drive and install original and already active Win7 version. If you want to keep the preinstalled OS you must purchase a valid OS license.
