  to restore back to zero, you have the following options:

  -buy the OS you have on your hard drive, install and then use the CD tools & utilities to install all the drivers and tools

  If no recovery has been delivered with your machine, then you have the recovery on your HARD drive. But it s no problem to burn it on CD/DVD:

  In your start bar go to Toshiba and Toshiba utility; There should be a program called "recovery disc creator" or similar. This program writes the your Windows Recovery Image to a blank CD/DVD.

  Just click on start-> programs-> Toshiba (I guess)-> utilities Toshiba-> (and then you have to get, since I Don t he not know exactly, but it should be there)

  If you want to replace your CD/DVD drive, you should look in your user manual. It should be a list of compatible drives that work with Notepad. Check it!

  The new RAM should be a SO-DIMM DDR2-533. The part number for 1 GB is PA3411U-1M1G.

  Finally and most importantly the best place for spare parts is the authorized service provider. They order all the original parts of Toshiba and the Toshiba site, you can search for the closest.

  Just 2 slots are available. The device can handle with 2 GB max. unfortunately I can't tell you anything on the module of RAM Kingston, but the Configurator Kingston said that these modules are compatible should avoid any problems.

  The RAID can be disabled in the BIOS!
  You must select the 3rd page of the BIOS, and then you will receive these options.

  How to enter the BIOS?
  Well, press ESC, then F1 immediately after that the laptop was turned on.

  But note; If you change the RAID option, you will lose all the data and the operating system must be installed again!
  For RAID details, see your user manual! You will find all the information necessary and important.
