Drive not opening - short gray screen and then turn off.

Installed and re-installed 5 times. not expert enough to want to go and mess with registry keys - using the free download for years on PC private and a pro at work version. Seiously turns off after the last few weeks.

I can't believe that they have not yet released a patch. I to we'll now probably, turn off acrobat then never return - fantastic marketing opportunity for smart people if they make the knowledge of it.

They are blissfully unaware or they trawl fishing site and who use in their product design?

Three things to try...

  1. Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
  2. You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
  3. It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

When I go to pogo.com I log on my screen turns blue, then wrote about this, but it's on and off fast cannot read, there do not have the time

You gave us a general indication of the nature of the problem but the specific error reports are a much easier solution.

When a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) the system failure occurs, for most users, there not enough time to fully record what he says. the exact text is important for anyone trying to diagnose what is wrong. You can save time when the error occurs then by following the procedure described below.

If you already did it disable the auto reboot system error. This should help by allowing the time to write the code to Stop error and related information correctly. Do right click on the icon my computer on the desktop and select Properties, advanced, startup and recovery, system failure and uncheck the box before automatically restarting. Re-do not enable automatic restart in the event of system failure after obtaining this information, this setting is the best left to not allow an automatic restart.

If the failure occurs during the initialization of the computer, you need to try a different approach. You can access the Advanced Options Menu of Windows on multiple computers by constantly pressing the F8 (key) key when starting and selecting the option - disable automatic restart in case of system error. This method is not always easy to use because it may be difficult to press the F8 key at the right time. Try again if it doesn't work the first time. On some computers, a different key must be used.

Most likely, the battery is broken. With AppleCare +, a replacement of the battery is free. However, without AppleCare +, a replacement battery will cost $79.

After turning on my wireless keyboard led green lights, then begins to blink, and then turns off. The batteries are fresh.

  • Satellite 2410 603 run diskcheck and then turns off after startup

When I turn on my PC it runs a check disk and tells that the following file is not valid: windows/prefetch\matcli.exe-061DBA
After the disk check, it starts up to the main screen and then stops as if I had pushed the power switch.

Is there a way to solve this problem without the recovery running disk (and thus losing all my data)?

    Hi guy,

MATCLI. EXE is a component of AOL Broadband and is usually optional (i.e. it is not necessary to run Windows).

The PREFETCH folder is from which your laptop try to play the file. It is an area where Windows stores copies of files that are usually loaded during the start-up phase, so that they can be pre-loaded in the cache, which allows Windows to start up more quickly.

It is advisable to clear the contents of the PREFETCH folder on a basis regular (Microsoft recommends a monthly purge of prefetch contents), but you can just delete the folder PREFETCH itself since Windows will allocate a new start-up.

Since you can't actually start Windows to delete the PREFETCH content I suggest that you try to start your laptop in 'SAFE' mode, since this will only start with the minimum of Windows files. If this succeeds, then delete the PREFETCH folder before you try to start Windows normally again.

As a final thought, it might well be a corruption on your hard drive for some reason any and it would be a good idea to run a utility to check hard disk in order to assess the State of your hard drive (using CHKDSK from Windows or a third party utility such as Norton Disk Doctor).

To boot from a DVD, positioned on the BootOrder:

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • iPad does not turn on/just the Apple logo and then turn off again

I have an iPad, 4th generation, 64 GB with WiFi and cell phone, it is only 3 years and suddenly I can't turn on the iPad. When he started to act up it would freeze upwards with no icons or the button "home" in response, still on the screen, that he was freezing. I was able to restart it with the top button and it would work for 10-15 minutes and freeze no icons or the button being sensitive at home. I could do a hard reboot and when I rebooted, it would work again for 5-15 minutes and freeze once more. This was during a week and now it does not restart. When I try to turn on with the button at the top of the Apple logo appears, remains on the screen for about 3-5 minutes (no progress bar) and turns off again with no other screen appearing. I tried to find a solution online without success. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix for the iPad? I would appreciate any ideas that anyone could have.

If the unit starts to turn back on the wide, then it seems that if you have a hardware problem. If the unit is charged and a reset will produce only a short period of service, then it is a hardware error or an error in battery, which would be also considered to be material. You can try to restore the device to factory and test without adding any additional content. If it still fails, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar watching him.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

  • NB550D boots in black of the screen and cannot turn off even

I had my NB550D for only less than a month. I've updated the memory to 2 GB and the Op to Home Premium system, but nothing else. It's on auto update on security issues, and I remained with the McAfee protection which was pre-installed (and paid for a year).

All is well until a few days ago when you turn on, I just got black screen. Could hear the fan and disc well. Finally pressed the power button, nothing changed, has waited a bit, pressed again and it is off. When I pressed once again he came as usual. Used several times in the last two days and has been very well. Now today I get black screen again and can hear the fan. When subsequently, I pressed switch, I heard snoring disk but still black screen. Since then, tried pressing on/off switch from time to time but no change at all - can't turn off!

    Anyone has any suggestions please?

    Flingel

I read in another forum that the answer must take the battery (having already taken the sector) so it will die and then press on and press and hold power for 30 to 60 seconds. I had nothing urgent to do let him die naturally when the battery is missed rather than take out the battery when it was on. Then, I held the power button for 60 seconds, plugged in and turned on. It starts very well now, but of course I don't know a) the question of whether it is because I held the power button in 60 seconds and b) on the question of if same thing will happen again, so if anyone has experience of this behavior, I would be grateful for comment.

    Thank you
