  I recently copied a large number of music files FLAC from a NAS drive to an external hard drive.   Start the disk with the connected player manager.

  In the lower panel, check disks and look at the left panel. It must indicate the status of the disc attached. If shown as a foreigner do a right click and "import foreign disks".

  This does not affect the data on the disk and not the alternative option of having to write a signature to the disk. You may also define a drive letter in the right side, until a drive has a letter, you can't see its contents.

  I bought the WD My Passport 1 TB external hard drive. While this works with windows xp and 7 computers, only not with vista.

  Have you checked if the correct settings have been selected for the microphone in the computer?

  Try to access to Control Panel > Sound > Audio. Check the Recording tab if Microphone is enabled and work. Click Configure , and then once see you the working driver (i.e., reacts to your voice), right click above and as the default value.

  Later try to put in place the voice recognition program under all programs > Accessories > accessibility > Windows speech recognition and try the different microphone settings until the edge, we respond to your voice.

  my video seems to be a xp machine.
  When restoring from my pc to an earlier date, it seemed to alleviate the problem.
  When I boot in safe mode, I have a video perfect (with the exception of the size of the objects).
  When I reboot, screens of washing washing & microsoft come up, when get to xp blue light / logon screen it goes black.

  What is this 'supposed' to have a problem with?

  I went to the site of the Lim.  think that was part of the problem with saw to no support.  sent them an email / current.

  check microsoft to the drivers FRO viewsonic va800, except if someone can help with a good method of downloading drivers before hand.

  I could be wrong, but "Viewsonic va800" resembles a monitor?  I think that you need to update the drivers for your graphics card.  In Device Manager, look at "Graphics cards" (that's what they are called in Windows7, could be something different in xp...).

  Because every PC is different (a different material) you're not going to find specific instructions, I'm afraid).

  I took the laptop with Toshiba and now I'm using Tempro I 5 alerts telling me to install updates various...

  1 updating bios which finally ran with Windows Help and then gave the message «ROM date is not older than the date of the BIOS...» "whatever that means.

  I just bought a laptop, I didn't volunteer to become a technical wizz.
  It feels like I'm doing a work of Toshiba troubleshooting here, and I don't know what I'm doing. Can someone help me?

  To be honest I don t understand why you react so panicly

  You have a laptop that has a pre-installed Vista OS.
  The fact is that this OS Vista was preinstalled on your laptop computer and for several days/weeks, Microsoft has published a large number of updates and so Vista downloaded and installed updates. But don t wonder about other updates. From time to time you will receive these patches! This is a common behavior of the OS.

  With regard to the Tempro tool;
  This tool informs you about new drivers available, tools or utilities on the Toshiba page.
  To be honest I wouldn t use it. Usually, it's really not important what and when a pilot a tool was released if your laptop runs without problem. I'm always this recommendation; never change a running system.

  I tried to use speech recognition on windows 7 but it does not recognize the new device (headset) and tells me that the language of the English of the United States, recognition does not match the language of the user interface.  Could be a missing driver and how do I get it installed.  I never had problems with windows to recognize a new device until I tried to use speech recognition.  I don't understand why I'm having a problem with the language; It will allow speech recognition to open so that I can use it.  Both are these problems related to a missing driver or could there be another reason?

  To see what recognizer is to be used, speech recognition, open in the Panel. Click Advanced in the upper left corner of the word. Make sure that the language drop-down list Microsoft speech recognition for English system.

  To set up your microphone:

  • Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar to bottom left. It looks like this:
    
  • In the menu when you right click the speaker, select recording devices.
  • Make sure that the microphone you use (USB, with analog connectors or built into the computer) is set as the default value.
  • Speak into the microphone. The counter to the right of your microphone volume must move up and down like you're talking about. If it is not the case, click on properties, then on levels and level to about 75% of the value.

• iCloud Drive storage problem--showing 167G in stock Doc when 9 G is here

  I use iCloud drive.  I have 200 G and should not have more than about 40 used G, but when I check space it shows 167 G is used in the Docs.  The problem is I do not see or have as many information Doc here.  I can't understand where the storage error.

  I met this problem before with other cloud storage systems, but there seems to be no way to talk to a tech at Apple person to understand what is happening.

  I suggest that you try to go back to a previous restore point to: HP PC - use Microsoft System Restore (Windows, 10, 8).

  I have a Satellite L650 PSK1EE.
  Sorry if this is not the right place to post but I could not find anywhere else to start a new thread.

  Essentially my children want to use * Minecraft * on this laptop. I downloaded it but get the error message that my graphics driver is not compatible opengl. I only have Intel. So I tried the usual driver updates, then I tried to download a generic Intel driver but I don't know which one is right.

  Once I have selected * chart * then * laptop graphics driver * s then I get the choice between 2nd or 3rd generation processors, accelerators and mobile chipsets, which none means nothing to me and I'm stuck.

  It seems that some people have managed to circumvent the built-in graphics card driver and update manually one this way, once you know what you download and then unzip and so on...

  Of course, I can waste my time.

  If anyone knows how to proceed, I'd be very grateful for any help so that I can stop spending hours Googling this.

  I bought a laptop SATELLITE L450D-11 t with windows 7 and I want to use a USB stick for internet, but it requires a previous version of the operating system.

  Why you n t take an another USB compatible with Windows 7? In my opinion, it would be easier to reinstall the whole laptop but ok, it s your decision ;)

  As far as I know the drivers on page AMD intended for office use only, so I think that they will not work on mobile chips. But maybe the only corrupt the downloaded driver files, then try to download again.

  As I've already said, I would choose another USB key. This laptop is designed for the new Windows 7 and everything should work properly on the new operating system.

• Satellite 2060CDS: found under Win98 - CD drive controller problems?

  right now I'm on holiday at the Sea Baltic/Germany. There my TOSHIBA Satellite 2060 CDS had a crash of Windows 98 and so I had to install new OS with recovery cd. After that I can't find CD drive in Windows. Have a look at the system and equipment manager, there seems to be problems with the primary IDE controller from TOSHIBA and TOSHIBA secondary IDE controller because there isn't a '! ' in front of them.
  I tried to reinstall OS about six times but unfortunately without success.
