Driver went on a pad and perform a system restore, the hardware is not installed but the same problem.

I have Vista Home Basic. I have a HP printer that whenever I logged in re-installed drivers. So I decided to uninstall all printer and software and re-install fresh. All seemed well and good work but if I restart or stop and come back on the laptop tells me a driver went on a buffer and performs a restore of the system. The system restore seems to work and restores me awhile before I re-installed the printer. But again if I restart or stop it has the same problem. the pilot and buffer. I have not yet installed or reconnect the printer because it restored. I don't know much about computers and I don't know what to do. I wanted to kind of do a clean install of Vista but it comes preinstalled on my laptop so I don't have a disk and that I read removing the drivers does not seem an option.

Method 1: Try the following steps.
a. log in your computer using an administrator account.
b. Click Start and then click Run.
(c) in the Open box, type regedit and then click OK.
d. Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\LPTENUM5. Right click on the registry key and then click on remove.
e. under confirm delete key, click Yes.
f. close the registry editor and restart your computer.

    I came across the solution. In addition to download creative cloud, I needed to return to the site and download the trials for the programs I want to use - Photoshop and Lightroom. Once I did, I was in business. Save bad if this was done in light on the download site.

    After my last post, I did a little research and figured out how to import my favorites in IE8... so I uninstalled firefox again... but this time I had checked the "delete my personal Firefox and customizations" in the wizard, who did remove two addons (Ghosery and Ad Block Plus)... the relocation was different this time and the first time you start firefox He asked if I wanted to import my IE Favorites, which I did...     I just ordered a XPS420.  The guy who took my order said he had heard of having two operating systems (XP and Vista) on a single computer and be able to choose the one that you want to use the start.  Someone at - he heard of this being done or done. I have a legal version of Windows XP home edition disk.

    I ask this because the computer that my children no longer have work and they have a lot of older games for XP, they still love to play. My only alternative is to use XP only if I can reformat the system.

    Open the sparsebundle in Finder and keep open the subfolders until you get to the backup of each separate hard drive...

    Actually, this isn't just a "upgrade drive" it's a full disc of Windows 7, I know that I can install full Windows 7 32 bit in a separate partition for Vista.

    The problem is solved in any case, I managed to hide my Vista (C) install with Acronis and boot to the WIndows 7 DVD. It then allowed me to install Windows 7 64 bit on the other Partition, because he did not think that 32-bit Windows Vista has been installed on the HARD drive.     I have three user profiles set up, one for my daughter, one for my husband and one for me.

    A week or two there, my daughter connected on his profile to find its bottom screen and bookmarks and office icons had been reset.  I thought nothing of it, just helped get everything set back again.

    Two days ago, I logged on my profile and my husband connected to Siena, to see that all about its profile has been reset to the default value.  All her desktop icons disappeared, his favorites on Firefox were gone, his background has been reset... absolutely all the custom features have been reset.

    I ran system restore, and it resets me up to a point where Paint.net has been updated.  Everything is back to normal, so I stop updates on Paint.net and even blocked his access to the internet using my firewall to prevent it happening again.

    Yesterday I logged in my profile to find that the same thing had happened with mine.  So I ran the restore of the system again, and he suggested that I restore to a point where the updates of Windows has been installed.  I did, and everything went back to normal for my profile.

    Then this morning my husband connects to sound and finds the same problem.  So we did another restore of the system, return to the last update of Windows.  Everything returned to normal.

    I just ran Windows Update, and these are six updates, that it tries to install:

    -Update for Rights Management Services Client for Windows Vista (KB979099)-
    -Update for Windows Vista (KB976264)-

    I thought that one of these updates may be causing the problem, so I just installed and rebooted my pc, but when I logged in all was ok.  This could be the cause?

    in photoshop... especially when rendering 3d extrusions they both make the same time, a layer of rendering.  of course, I can force photoshop to use two GPUs.  the 675 m is a heck of a lot more powerful than the gpu intel integrated.

    something special to render faster by using the nvidia as opposed to the intel?
