As an alternative to the HP support site, you should be able to get the correct drivers from Windows Update. Using the devices and Printers' Add Printer, I was able to successfully add the HP 5 p to a system of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  1. Click Start or press on the then select devices and printers from the list on the right. When thedevices and printers windows opens and fills, click Add a printer among control options at the top.
  2. To open the Add Printer window, first select Add a local printer. Then select a port and click Next.
  3. In the next window, first click on the Windows Update button and wait a few minutes until the list is filled again. It will look like nothing is happening, but it's work. Once the lists are updated, select HP for the manufacturer and the HP LaserJet 5 p Printers.
  4. When you click Next must install the printer driver and you'll end up with the final test print screen.

FWIW, I created the test to aid installation FILE: (print to file) as the port. Once the driver is installed in the system, plug any 5 p with a USB connection should install instantly using existing drivers.

  • LaserJet P2015 PCL6: Problem with LJ P2015 PCL6 x 86 drivers for x 64 print server

Hello, I am trying to add x 86 additional drivers for the print 2008R2 server, but seems the downloaded packages 'LJP2015-pcl6-pnp-win32-it' or 'ljp2015pcl6vista2k2008xp2003' does not contain the driver corrette (hppaew04.inf, hppcp504.inf) Server report "the specified location contains no pilot for the required processor architecture". I have to find a solution because some users have windows xp clients and to do printer. Thanks in advance Davide

    Resolved using an unusual way.

The only driver for WinXP is was not aligned with the x 64 version, so it is not possible to install directly to the print server.

    I solved this way:

install a printer as local device on the Windows XP client.

the customer opened \\PRINT_SERVER\devices and printers

    right click on the printer

at this point, begin the installation of the driver on the client, using the x 86 driver (not the UPD, but the native driver).

On the server are now available for both x 64 and x 86 native printer driver.

This workaround is only for the win2008 R2 on previous versions of Windows Server that this problem is not present.

  • Windows 8 drivers for Dell 2335dn printer/Scanner

The compatibility for Windows 8 Dell printer to http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?docid=572562 page shows the 2335dn compatible, but there is only some Windows 8 drivers on the driver download page for this printer.      I downloaded the 64 bit Windows 7 drivers (DELL_2335DN-MONO-LASER - MFP_A04_R302637.exe), but when I try to install, I get an error message in a window that says "this version of Windows is not supported.  Program will be terminated. »

Where are drivers Windows 8 for the Dell 2335dn?

I finally got this working on my computer Windows 8.1.

First of all, download that Win7 both Win8 application installs Kiran links in this support thread.  Then, run the Setup program to install the drivers and application of Win7 which includes the scanner driver.  Finally, run the program installation to install the Win8 application and drivers, which will overwrite the binaries of Win7 and install the good printer drivers and application Win8 (although the scanner driver missing at the start of the installation of Win7).

That leaves me with features both the scanner and the printer working on my machines from 8.1 to win!

    Hope this helps,

  • OfficeJet 7612: I need drivers for copy on print server - do not install it on any machine

All the drivers on the website seem to settle on the machine that I use. I have a print server that is Windows 2008 CORE so I connect from my machine to the server to configure each printer; and I need to have the driver installed on the server where it loads the driver on every machine that attaches to the printer.  I need a zip file containing the driver files and inf so I have copied on the server and each machine will install them automatically when they connect to the printer.  The HP Web site account EXE files to be installed on the machine, that I'm working on so I can't find the INF files and the driver that needs to go on the server.   It's very frustrating.  How can I get just the drivers?

    Hello

You would need the program standard executable installation used for an another Windows operating system, but the method of installation must be done manually.

Download the following drivers on your desktop and extract it in a place of choice (with Winrar or 7Z),
Or by running the file, once the configuration dialog box open Explorer files, type %temp%, and then press enter and open the folder extracted from HP that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zS1234):

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL47661/MP-115385-2/OJ7610_Basicx64_971-2.exe

Then follow this articale to install the drivers of the CMD using the MSIEXEC command:

    Hi SFinOK,

The best way to solve this problem is to obtain the latest Windows Vista service pack. If there is a reason why you are unable to install the latest Windows Vista service pack, the best thing is to get the fix that is mentioned in Microsoft KB 929734article.

    • There should be entries yellow bang (yellow! brand) with the name of the printer on it.

  • Where can I find a Windows 7 driver for my Digital DEClaser 5100 printer? Windows uses drivers for XP and Windows 2000, but I can't find one for Windows 7.

Windows 7 Add printer does not find the drivers for my digital

Either use the XP machine as a remote client, add them to the Windows 7 machine or unzip the files in the driver.cab file, and use the disk and point to the ntprint.inf from the XP CD.  If you have Windows 7 64-bit, you should the drivers from 64 XP or Server 2003 x 64.  I just installed the x 64 driver PS.  Seems simple enough.  I think that this device emulates the HP LaserJet 4.  There is a version of the 5100 driver PCL as well Alan Morris Windows Printing team research here Microsoft Knowledge Base: http://support.microsoft.com/search/Default.aspx?adv=1

  • Where can I get drivers for my printer for Windows 8 OS iP3300?

I recently bought a new laptop and it came with the Windows 8 operating system.  I can't find drivers for my iP3300 printer.  Much of what I read insists the drivers for Windows 7 installation in "compatibility" mode should work.  After you follow the instructions to install this way, nothing happened. I need help :)

Looks like my first answer was a bit premature :(  Unfortunately, the test page was going well, but when I tried to print a Word document with a jpeg it came out weird.  The photo printed several times on the page and in various combinations of colours, shades of blue to shades of yellow!  My printer is in fact a 3300 and I installed the 3600 series I'm sure that's where things went cross-roads.   Can you help me solve this problem?

    Susie

I would like to buy a new printer that is supported under Windows 8 by its manufacturer.  In view of the possible age of this printer (6 to 7 years possible) and how long the latest drivers were released for it by the manufacturer (March 2010) - it would be cheaper and less frustrating in the long run (and probably in the short term) to buy another cheap, which may equal or faster and perhaps more efficient replacement.
