Drivers for NETGEAR WG311v3 54 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter will not work.

Windows 7 installs the drivers for the WG311v3 automatically, but after installation, the hardware does not work and I have an exclamation mark next to the card wireless in Device Manager.  I then looked at the properties and saw in the device state that "the device cannot start. (Code 10) "this device worked under vista, but doesn't work on 7. I installed the drivers that came with him and tried all compatibility modes, but nothing works. Any Suggestions?

My hardware is
-Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 Ghz
-4 GB DDR2 800
-Geforce 9600 gt
-motherboard: Asus PN5D

I have an Acer Aspire One AOA150ZG5 that only comes with Windows XP directly from the factory. I recently started having trouble with XP so I switched to Windows Vista Home Premium and now my wireless card doesn't work. I tried to go to the manufacturer's Web site, but they have only taken over XP, so I installed the XP driver and used the Vista Device Manager to update and it still does not work. Please help me I spent all my money on vista so I can't afford a new wireless card.

If Acer is not taken support Vista for your model, there is nothing that can be done about it.

    Sorry about that.

You can consult the Web site of the manufacturer of the wireless adapter.

If they have no drivers Vista, same thing; nothing can be done about it.

BIOS bug? I don t think so

First of all, you must make sure that this isn't a hardware problem. In this case, insert the Toshiba Recovery CD and reinstall the operating system of this device. This will outline the laptop to factory settings. Notes; This would format the whole HARD drive.

After the new installation, you must activate the WLan switch on the side of books, and you can then use the switch button FN + F8 to select the WiFi network.

I assume that you have already configured your Wlan router. So the same settings such as the SSID, encryption of WLan, etc. must be defined on the laptop too.

I managed to make it work for Linksys WMP54G v4.1. Hope it will help.

    1. download the Driver Ralink Wireless LAN RT2500 (PCI/mPCI/CB) version 3.2.0.10/3.2.0.0

    2. run the Setup program on your machine, Windows 8

    3. in Device Manager, right-click Update driver software

3.1 and select "Browse my computer for driver software".

3.2 then select "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

3.3 instead of choose any item from the list now, click on 'disk '.

3.4 then navigate to the folder of installation of the driver package. On my machine, this is:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \RALINK\RT6x Wireless LAN Card\Driver

    3.5 pick 'rt2500.inf '.

3.6 then in the new manufacturer list, choose "Ralink Technology, Inc."

  • Portege M750 Win7 64 bit Wireless Manager (3G) will not work

I can't TOSHIBA Wireless Manager (3G) to work in a new installation of Win 7 64 bit.

I did a test installation of Windows 7 64 - bit on and old SATA hard drive and checked TOSHIBA Wireless Manager would work. He did.

I then did a fresh install of Windows 7 64 - bit on a new Crucial C300 Real SSD 256Go.

The new facility with the Crucial SSD is not very successful... The operation "stop and restart" does not - the closing not always power off completely and you must push the switch down to.

Sometimes the SSD does not start - you enter the password of the BIOS but then nothing happens. Sometimes you turn off the power and remove the battery before as the startup disk.

But the biggest problem is that the (3G) Wireless Manager will not work. The application opens and indicates that "died" - which it is impossible that I use WiFi to post this question.

I tried to install the software Vodafone 3 G portal. It detects the presence of the 'mobile device' (SIM in housing) but then can not turn it on.

I downloaded and installed all the latest drivers for the chip, the pilot 3G, 3G software, LAN driver, LAN software and all updates of Windows 7.

I have the latest version of the BIOS (3.0) but this has not been updated by Toshiba since 11/04/09.

I would point out that Diagnostic PC Toshiba tool does not recognize the installed 8 GB memory (but ccleaner):

    -don't

points to a problem of firmware on the SSD drive (is it sandforce) torque to the incompatibility of BIOS of the SSD.

I assume that all drivers installed etc were identical on the installation of the trial of HARD drive? so if this is the case it must be the SSD does not not with the BIOS correctly, so the other issues as well

  • WMP600n wireless PCi adapter do not reconnect after sleep

I have a Linksys WMP600n PCi adapter installed in my desktop PC wireless and after recovering from the night before, he doesn't do not automatically reconnect.  I have you right click on the wireless icon in the system tray, then select "repair".  I would say this, it is 9 times out of 10 (1 times in 10 seems to me good luck and it restores the connection).

I have a motherboard Asus M4A88TD-M with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and I'm under Windows XP Home Edition (SP3).  There is only one PCi slot on the motherboard.  In addition, I do not use the software provided with the product, but rather the native wireless networks wireless network software application supplied with Windows XP.  I had this problem with the original driver that comes with the product CD and the problem persists with the latest version of the driver.  I have no active set into hibernation and there is no power active modes of economy on the PC.

I have considered all options in the properties/Advanced tab Wireless 600n and the awake mode the continuously and disabled the power saving Mode, but the problem persists.

I have two other PCs with older PCi Linksys WMP300n cards and they don't exhibit this behavior after recovering from the previous day - they reconnect with reliability.

Anyone else have this problem with WMP600n PCi cards?  All solutions?

    Thanks in advance.

I found the problem.  There was a program called "Hot Spot Shield' on the PC that installed a virtual connection of the Miniport network ("Anchorfree HSS adapter") along the side of the hardware (PCI) wireless network connection.  The operating system seemed unable to load any network connection during the restoration of the day before due to the presence of these two active connections.  The solution was simply uninstall and remove the Hot Spot Shield software.

  • Pavilion dv6 LY090UA #ABC: I reinstalled Windows 7 and my wireless network adapter does not work

I just reinstalled windows 7 and I can not get my work a wireless adapter. I went in all directions looking for drivers to use and everyone I try does not work.

    I tried:

    Atheros Wireless LAN Driver 2011

I saw someone talking about DriveTheLife in another forum and decided to try it.

IT WORKS LIKE MAGIC, I don't know how he did it but he found and installed all the drivers I needed!

  • Wireless network adapter does not work anymore and will not be repeated work without stopping the computer and then back on.

Sometimes I leave my computer on at night.  Sometimes I notice that when I get back to him the next day that he has limited connection to the network I use.  When I try to disconnect it from the network, then reconnect, it says that it cannot connect.  Then, when I try to restart my computer it is sitting at a screen saying "stop down". "."  My wireless network software also is unaccessable in which she does not open and if I close the Task Manager and reopen it flashes for a second then closes.

However when I turn it on manually and then turn it on again, which apparently is not good for the computer, I am once again able to connect to the network with full access.

Can someone please tell me why this keeps happening and how to fix it?

  • Satellite L50-B-1DZ - wireless network adapter does not work

So, my network wireless adapter completely stopped working. 2 days ago I couldn't connect to networks wirelessly without problem (although I've disconnected and will need to run the troubleshooter every few hours to reset it...), but yesterday I started to get the message "not connected - no connection is available. In broadcom 802.11n network adapter in Device Manager, the icon has a yellow warning symbol and the error message "this device cannot start. Code 10 ".

I tried to update the drivers, but it gives just the same error message. I also tried to do a restore of the system since a week ago, but it has not fixed either.

I found a youtube video that said that the problem can be caused by a software conflict and change value from registry, but that no longer works, and now I'm full of ideas.

How have you tried to update the driver WLan?
Have you tried to uninstall the driver first, and then after reboot again to install the new driver downloaded from Toshiba UE driver page?

    Try it!

You said you reset the system in the past?
How? Have you used the Toshiba recovery procedure and have you installed already preinstalled system once more?

Thank you all who responded and have tried to help me. Before posting, I tried most of the mentioned patches, including upgrading my firmware of the router. In addition, I went to Device Manager and scanned for changes and checked the properties under the Advanced tab of the Wifi link adapter. I tried the update driver and deactivation and activation of the device. None of this has worked.

Finally, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Wifi card. It worked. I guess the driver software became corrupt and data of the register of the device had probably need re - install, this is what worked. This seems to happen when upgrading Windows operating systems prior to WIN 7 and later people lose their wifi connection. Then this problem develops.

It worked for me. I hope this works for others with the same problem.

Once again I thank you all.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Check the site of the manufacturer of the system for latest driver.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • S3-391 Acer wireless network adapter does not work after driver update

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire S3-391 running Windows 7 64 bit and I have recently updated my card (Atheros AR5BMD222) wireless network to the latest version of such 10.0.0.274 as recommended by the Acer site.  After updating the driver, I can no longer connect to my wifi at home.  When I try to connect, I get the message that no wireless connection is available (even if all my other devices can see the wifi network) and when I diagnose the problem, it is said that there might be a problem with the wireless network card and that windows could not automatically bind the ip stack Protocol.  I tried to uninstall the new driver and reinstall one old and running a system restore before installing the new driver, both with no luck.  When I try to manually configure a wireless connection, I get message "an unexpected error has occurred."  I have an automatic DNS and IP address, and when I look at my ipconfig, IP, DNS, DHCP, etc all have addresses.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

And while playing, I managed to fall on a solution.  When I looked at the properties of my wireless network card, I have disabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP and now everything works fine.

I downloaded on: win\syswow64\drivers\afc.sys. I've looked everywhere and tried to find a dialog box offering the option "update drivers" for this device.
