  • DeskJet 3835: Black vertical lines when scanning - Deskjet 3835

    Hello

Whenever I scan using the document feeder, there are black vertical lines showing on the picture. This happens with the dish however. The printer is the 3835 Deskjet all in one set. Receive your answer. Thank you.

The lines that you describe would generally caused by a small file specifications (or some spec) on the thin glass to the left of the bed main scanner.  Open the scanner cover and clean the thin glass.  It can help to shine a bright light which is held at a slight angle to the bed of the front.  This would be to highlight the areas to be cleaned.

  • Drivers HP Deskjet 5740, Windows 8.1

    Hello

I had this printer works on XP for years.

I bought a new PC with Windows 8.1, she works there.

I can install on XP and share with 8.1 but what is back-asswards, 8.1 victory will be my main PC.

I installed it on 8.1 and want to share it with the XP machine.

When I try to add the printer on XP, I get a message:

The server does not have the right set of HP5700 installed.

I downloaded and installed 8.1 64 bit, OK.

Cannot use install drive years ago.

I think I need to install 32-bit drivers on Win 8.1 to share with XP.

I'm lost, I can't find anything online, sites just trying to install all kinds of garbage.

Y at - it installation of HP that will allow me to share 8.2 64-bit XP 32 bit?

    Thank you

    Raney

Hey there @Raney , welcome to the Forums!

I noticed your post want to share your 5740 Deskjet from your Windows 8.1 on your XP machine. That you found in your search, this does simply not work. There are no drivers available for this model of printer and Windows 8.1 (click here). The old disks will not work because they are not compatible with Windows 8.1.

You will most likely stick to the "Countdown to' path unless you look in the upgrade of your printer.

I hope that helps clarify the situation for you.

    All the best!

In fact, the Deskjet 895 has a USB port, it may be partially hidden by the back flap but is just above and on the right side of the parallel port.  It should not be necessary to use this to isntall the printer driver.  Deskjet 895 drivers are available through Windows Update, you can do the following: go to the folder devices and printers, add printer, a local port, say LPT1 (for now...), then when the list of printers, click Windows Update in the lower right. After several minutes, a printer updated list should appear, at this point, you can cancel the on install, then stable using the appropriate port.

  • Drivers HP Deskjet 682c for Windows 7

Is there a driver for Windows 7 that will give me a basic use of the printer, and how do I install it?

HP Deskjet 690C drivers for Windows 7 works very well for the 682 c. The drivers are built into Windows 7, you must choose yourself with a manual installation. Hope this helps

  • Cannot install drivers for Deskjet 3650 in Windows 7 XP

I have a HP Deskjet 3650 which is connected through the USB port on my primary computer running Windows 7.  I can print without problem, I have problems sharing this printer with 2 other computers running Windows XP.  I downloaded the drivers for XP and excerpts on the Windows 7 computer.

On the properties of the printer HP Deskjet 3600 series, I clicked on the sharing tab.

Share this printer and rendering of printing on client computers are both checked.

When I click on additional drivers, only X 64 is checked and said yes less installed.

The two other options (Itanium and x 86) are both unchecked and say no less installed.

I tried x 86 control and clicking on OK.  Then I am asked to install print drivers and browse to where are printer drivers.  I navigate to the 3600, enu, pilots, win2k_xp folder and see hpf3600k.inf when I click Open, then select OK, I get a selected printer driver not found error that indicates the specified location does not contain the driver for hp deskjet 3600 series (BOBO) on the architecture of processor required.

On one of the XP machines, I installed the printer software and am not able to print if I physically plug the printer on it.

On another XP machine, I have installed the printer software, but I download and extract the drivers.  When I click on the Add Printer Wizard and select the printer on the network, it tells me that I'm about to connect to a printer on the computer Windows 7 and says that it will automatically install a print on my machine driver.  I click Yes to allow him to continue and he told me that the server for the hp deskjet 3600 printer doesn't have the installed printer driver and I can click OK to search for the correct driver.  I click OK and navigate to the folder I extracted the drivers to and see that hpf3600k.inf is located in the folder and click OK and I get a window of driver error install that says that Windows cannot locate a suitable printer driver.  To help locate and install a suitable driver, contact your administrator.

So, it seems to me that the driver that I downloaded on the site of hp for Windows XP is not the correct driver, am I wrong here?

How can I get this printer to print on all 3 computers work without having to move from one to the other.  The printer must be physically connected to the Windows 7 computer, as the other 2 are in children's rooms.

Try the following: on the machine XP go to the printers and Faxes folder, add a local printer, printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the name of the actual share of the shared computer and printer), OK, and then click disk and point to the directory where you unzipped the driver XP.

On the XP machine, you have already installed the driver do the following: go to the printers and Faxes folder, right click on the Deskjet 3650, select Properties, Ports, the port, Local port Add, new Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the name of the shared computer and printer), OK.

    Any help would be useful

    Hello
In the Applications folder or its subfolder HP remove all existing HP Scan or app HP Easy Scan by moving it to the trash, then empty the trash.

Then install the latest HP Easy Scan below, it will be installed in the Applications folder:
    http://FTP.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/OSX/installations/Essentials/HP-easy-scan-1_7_0.pkg

If you experience additional problems, ensure that the latest version of the software is installed by following HP Easy Start below:
    http://FTP.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/OSX/applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Finally, make sure that your drivers are up-to-date by clicking the Apple icon, select about this Mac and then press on software update.
Click on the Bank on the menu bar, click Reload Page, click all update if an update is available.

Now, check if you can see a difference when accessing the HP utility

  • HP Deskjet 3835: Installing fax driver deskjet 3835

When I got the connection problem with the printer, I uninstall all the drivers and reinstalled the full version, since then the Fax icon is missing.

He is the icon of the printer and I can print without any problems and you can use fax for document printed manually on the printer, but not PC directly.

Please tell us how to install the driver fax and Fax icon back.

    Hey @Mijl,

Although DocCottle, is not available, I would be happy to help you. I understand that you can send by fax of the fingerprint itself, but you can not send a fax from the computer. I see the driver icon and fax are missing.

I understand that you have already tried to install the latest driver and precedent was uninstalled and reinstalled, but I feel that something has prevented the installation to complete successfully. Please use the following steps to perform an uninstall more complete and I would like to know the results of your efforts. I know that this appears at first sight very complicated, but I burst in instructions step by step to make it easy to follow

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %

      • Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    2. Delete the printer devices and printers and the driver from the properties of the server. See the instructions below before proceeding to step 3.
    3. The new software - uninstall the printer software Instructions
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec /Unregister, and then click OK.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then click OK

    * Note: there is a space between the c and the /.

If you do not at this stage, use this link to perform another way. Restart Windows install

    1. Run the system Accessories\ tool disk cleanup <> How to delete files using disk cleanup
    2. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
    3. Restart the computer
    4. Download and run the HP printer install wizard for Windows
    5. The HP printer for window installation wizard was created to help Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 users download and install the most recent and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  • Drivers HP DeskJet 3050

    Dear HP,

Today, I bought a HP DeskJet 3050 all-in-one printer. Configuration and installation is extremely easy and went smoothly (including getting it connected to my wireless network). However, when you go into Printer preferences I have barely any options. Rather, I assumed that all HP printers come with a driver who had advanced options like eco/project, double-sided and booklet printing. Is there a way to get the options available in the preferences of the printer or the printer has only a very basic driver available?

    Kind regards

    Marijn.

    Hello

I just did a clean install on my laptop of girlfriends (Vista 32-bit) and it has the same limited options. I think it's just the driver that is only a single driver of base. Apparently HP does not provide features pilot advanced for its low end budget printers. Seems a bit odd for me as I assume that the software should not depend on the printer driver (only from specific features like duplexing perhaps).

HP Deskjet 3050 doesn't support automatic duplex two, however, it supports two-sided manually. Here's how it's done:

    (1) open the application, click File ==> Print

    (2) select printer icon ==> properties-click ==> click the Advance button

    3) click on 'Pages to print' in the menu drop down select "Print even pages" and click OK. This example displays the pages even first.

    (4) now turn the pages and insert page in the paper tray

    (5) in the application, click File ==> Print ==> printer icon select ==> Properties ==> Advance button

    (6) this time select 'Print the odd pages' in the menu for "Pages to print", and then click OK to print the odd pages.

In the Advanced tab you can see other options like "Print in Gray Scale ' etc. To print in "Draft" mode, click the Layout tab. In the last drop-down menu, you will find options such as 'Fast draft mode', 'Normal', 'best' etc.

It is a redesigned s/w and more options can be added with future updates or new versions of s/w
