  The best thing you can do when the drivers are missing must go directly to the source.  Automatic updates and Device Manager is usually not the best driver, but rather use a general generic driver (or even at all).

  Hello, I'm having a problem in the installation of the USB drivers and LAN adapter. I am unable to connect to the Internet, the LAN icon in the taskbar shows sign of the cross. Because this laptop is not any CD of driver with the pack so I am unable to connect to the internet and install the drivers automatically.

  Also, I tried to search for drivers LAN and USB in another computer, but couldn't find any. I installed Windows 7 64 bit, I can't update windows, nor can I search for a material on the HP driver download page. At least, I could use the LAN to work properly so I can connect the laptop to the internet and scan for the rest of the drivers.

  Kindly help me now I am unable to do anything with the laptop, I just bought the laptop yesterday and still I could not find the drivers.

  Hello! I'm stuck installing the software/drivers for my printer.

  I bought a new computer and everything worked fine until I tried to install the printer. I get this error message, and I can't move, so I can't use the printer

  It's strange and I don't think it's really a problem of USB, I have many more devices connected via USB and printer is the only one that gives problems. I also tried to plug it into all possible USB of my motherboard without result.

  I also downloaded the drivers up-to-date for my motherboard, I've even updated the BIOS to the latest version, without result.

  I can see the printer detected from the control panel of configuration/printers, but he said to the drivers installed.

  Click the Start button and type folder in the search bar, then open the Temp folder indicated.
  
  Open the last HP installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
  Open the installation folder.
  Find the file usbready.exe and rename it to usbready.old.exe
  Navigate to the main extraction folder (folders that begins with 7z) and run the Setup.exe file.
  
  Now follow the installation and check for the difference.

  If F2 does not mean that UEFI environment is corrupted. This is where a flashdrive HP_Tools have would be helpful.   Hi, I wonder if any of you can help me. I have problems with my USB ports. He won't recognize anything except a USB mouse that I use. It does not recognize any of the MP3 players I tried to connect.   Generally, you n t need any USB driver because Windows using own USB drivers. In addition, the USB ports are recognized correctly in Device Manager. In my opinion if the USB mouse works correctly if the USB ports are ok. I suggest that external devices need power of 500mA.
  Well, I suggest to use an external power supply to solve this problem.

  However, if it please go to Device Manager and select hub USB root. Go to properties and uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power on the power management tab.

  I am the owner of a Qosmio F10 with Win XP MCE.

  I have recently encountered problems with my USB ports I have 3 in my computer. It began with one of them and has now spread to the rest of them.

  The problem occurs especially with my mouse. The mouse freezes and sometimes I hear the alarm which is generally issued when disconnected a device. Sometimes it restarts seconds later and sometimes I have to physically unplug my mouse and plug it back in to restart.

  The problem also occurred with other devices that is my Ipod.

  The problem could be related to lack of memory because it seems to me see more during the execution of the programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, etc., however I can't say that for sure.

  Can I reinstal the drivers for the USB ports? I tried reinstalling my driver of mouse, with no effect.

  Please note that I cannot go into 'Control panel' I get an error message and closes the window.

  I hope someone can help me.

  USB drivers are part of the Windows operating system. 3rd party USB drivers don t exist!
  What you could do is to disconnect all USB devices and could remove the USB ports/hubs/controllers in Device Manager.

  Reboot the laptop.
  After restarting again the operating system should recognize and install again the USB ports.
  This accelerated procedure should help you

  I had to do a clean install for reasons I will not go in and my arrogance is a judge not a necessary backup.

  After what I went through a painstaking quest to reinstall all the drivers, but I can't find the missing drivers for USB controllers. They are not found on the page of support/drivers for the product, or windows may find them.

  Call me a tree because I am confused.

  PS According to the Microsoft Fix It tool, there are two USB controllers with missing drivers, I guess it is for USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 controllers.

  As the title says, I recently downgraded the OS on my laptop to Windows 7 to 8, and I have trouble finding drivers for the following items:

  I searched on the HP support section, but all that is available are drivers of Windows 8.  I updated the BIOS to the latest version, but still no help.  Any help is greatly appreciated, because I don't know pilots who work there.
